I also got a nifty sticker telling me when I'd need to get it changed again, which, being forgetful I appreciated. Poor customer service. Although they did a decent job at fixing my car the customer service was bad. They quoted me one hour & said they would call me. About 2 hours later I give them a call and they say that it's ready. Why did I have to call? Not only that, but when I went in to pick up my car it was then that they told me I had other issues. Why not tell me over the phone so that we can just fix it altogether? I understand that prices jump from start to add-ons but I think it's important that through the phone it is communicated before meeting for 3 different occasions. I really do like supporting family-owned businesses but please get the customer service right. My first and last time coming here. Thank you for your services nonetheless. read more

I came here because my girlfriend said that they do a good and fast job changing her oil for her Prius. I brought my Chevy in for an oil change twice. The first time and they were pretty fast and the price wasn't bad just average so I was pleased with that but an ODD thing was that I remembered that he didn't give me a RECEIPT. This was after I had already driven off. But I thought nothing of it since I did see them bring my truck in and watched them work on it for a bit. Also, maybe he had just forgotten. The second time I brought it in they were kinda busy but it wasn't that long of a wait. When they were done the guy at the front desk rang me up and again I noticed NO RECEIPT. I thought "no big deal" because the last time he helped me and didn't give me a receipt nothing had happened. So I went on my way. The following week while I was driving to work my ADD OIL LIGHT comes on and beeps/chimes. I thought it was really odd because I had just taken it to them last week. Why would the light come on so f'n fast. Is there a leaks underneath my truck I was wondering? During that week I checked the parking spot(s) that I was parking at to see if there were any leaks but I didn't see any drop of motor oil. I finally pulled over to Napa auto parts and checked with the dip stick and found out that it was bone dry!! So I bought five quartz of synthetic motor oil and poured it all in. The add oil light went off instantly and I checked for oil leaks but didn't spot any oil drips. Sucks that I had to spend more money buying more motor oil. Sucks even more that I didn't watch out for myself and gotten a receipt from these guys. But as a company doing and charging people for oil change on a day to day basis you'd think that they would instinctively give you a receipt at the end of every service job done. Really suspicious that they didn't give me a receipt both times. It is hard to find reputable auto shops these days. read more

Hands down the best shop in the Sacramento area. They treat every car like a Maserati, giving special attention to even the most minute details. Raj is the best mechanic that I've ever come across; his amicable and informative approach allows you as a customer to feel completely involved in the repairs. He took his time to listen to the problems I described, listed out all of the possible causes of the issues, and told me his step-by-step plan of how he was going to approach the problem. He is far from a mechanic trying to take advantage of you, and makes sure you don't spend time or money at his shop unnecessarily. I don't come across this quality of work very often, but Raj takes customer service to an entirely new level. This is the only place that I wish I could give more than 5 stars to. read more

Absolutely amazed by how good and quick the service is. I mean of course you always have to wait alittle but unlike my usual local bug chain stores I've waited an hour and half to get an oil change done even with an appointment. Came here with no appointment and was helped immediately in the office. After about 5 minutes my car was pulled in and they completed the service. Went here for a Smog check and no one greeted me or asked for my information Went back early morning when they open and had a check engine light diagnostic. Did not receive a call all day, and ended up having to call them after about 6hrs of them having my car for the test. When I finally got ahold of someone they said they were looking for the parts and the dealer was closed? It was Saturday and the parts department doesn't close until 4pm. I brought it back Sunday and left overnight to work on Monday. Again, no call to let me know cost of parts or anything, I had to call, only to be told the labor quote would be $400, from the early quote on Saturday of 45$. One guy said it would be ready the next day, other guy said it would take 2 days to order the parts. ??? Poor communication and lack of experience with foreign cars. Will not go back and advise others to seek a shop dedicated to your brand than a one stop place. read more

These guys know what's up! They are very knowledgeable, reliable, and have the customer's best interest in mind. My car died on a Sunday and they were the closest open repair shop (open on Sunday is a major perk!). I didn't have to wait long even though there were several other cars in the lot. They turned the car on, listened for a minute, checked under the hood and gave me the bad news that the engine was bad. Rather than convince me to let them fix it, the mechanic advised to sell the car and buy a new one. I was sold! He didn't charge me for anything! He even offered to park the car inside for the night if I couldn't get it picked up. Even the tow truck driver said he brings a lot of cars to One Stop and that the guys there know what they are doing. I brought in a friend's car the next day for an oil change and got the same excellent service. Both times I came in alone and as a woman, I am often intimidated by dealing with mechanics. One Stop Smog is now my go-to mechanic for all auto problems big and small, in addition to fast oil changes and smog tests. They are very good at diagnosing problems. When I told them my car was making a new noise, Raj actually got in the car with me and had me drive so he could hear what I was talking about. Many auto shops will just ask you "what does it sound like" and never get to the real problem. I started coming here a year ago when my previous mechanic did shoddy work and I have always been happy with the results, the price (honest and fair), and the speed at which the work is done.
