Dishonest Manager- Went to pick up large previously placed catering order this am for our local church - bbq chicken, rice and salad for 100 people only to find that the manager of this location claims paper plates, forks, napkins not included! The gal who had originally taken the order the Sunday before was soooo embarrassed that she still gave us about 30 plates -while her cheap, rude manager was not looking- the manager also took out one bowl of sauce though we ordered 2 large trays of chicken and was told each tray comes with its own sauce- we had also asked for the chicken to be sliced- no luck there either - I think the owners of this franchise should know about this manager's dishonest ways as it makes me wonder how trustworthy she is when she cheats her catering customers- since we are local churchgoers we didn't argue other than to point out the differences from the original order -we did inform that we'd place an honest review and are not likely to reorder again- catering customers beware! Wouldn't pay for catering until you pick up the order either- This manager was so cheap that she made her employee tell us what she was not covering instead of apologizing about the mistake on her part - Left feeling ripped off and not served- had to stop and get plates/forks for other 70 ... Food was too salty and trays were very sparsely filled too- probably on the manager's insistence no doubt-.... this is not how you earn a following of regular customers or serve the community around you.... read more

This place served me undercooked chicken katsu, they tried telling me that's the way their chicken is. It's obviously undercooked. Gross, man. Really regret not going to my usual Hawaiin BBQ spot. Excellent service and it was fast too. Only complaint I have is that the side of 2 scoops of Macaroni Salad is $4.19 with taxes and you're given a mediocre portion. Definitely not worth it. The $6 Seafood plate during Lent is good though! read more

The food is decent. The price is okay. But what is that SMELL inside the restaurant??? It makes it difficult to enjoy my meal. Like a mix of chemicals and something rotting. I'm hesitant about going back because I wonder if it's some sort of strong chemicals they are using to clean the place and it's somehow seeping into my food or if there's toxic waste brewing down under and I'm inhaling the fumes. *faints* Someone tell the manager to light a candle or get property manager to go out there and check it please. I'm never going back to this place, I got a mini meal with bbq chicken and my rice and chicken were full of hairs. I found a hair in my rice and I just stopped eating the rice but then I got into the chicken and there was thick black hairs in the chicken. They were stuck in there it was disgusting. Surprisingly good for a fast food location. Ordering the Hawaiian BBQ mix, to try the variety of flavors, I found all three ( chicken, ground beef, and steak) to be flavorful and well cooked. Trying out the two offered dipping sauces, Kutsu and teriyaki left a great flavor in every bite. Defiantly a great quick stop. The customer base was average and after I finished ordering this little location was slammed by nurses and construction workers on their lunch hour. The best part of the experience was the modern themed interior decor. The worst part was slow-moving, bored looking, drink forgetting server at the register. read more

The food is great but I have one major concern. Roaches and flies. They have an A on health inspection but I think that needs to be reevaluated. Good food and good service but the facility is dirty. Unfortunately I will no long bring my business here. Can not risk the infectious disease that roaches carry. I was standing near a paramedic and she noticed it too. My favorite thing to get here is the Kalua pork combo plate. It's so savory. I also get teriyaki chicken with it but it always gets stuck in my teeth. It comes with macaroni salad & rice & I love the cabbage underneath the meat portion. The food always taste fresh. My husband always gets the chicken katsu. He loves it but I haven't tried it yet. This place is pretty good. I always order for my entire family. Our favorite is Chicken Katsu. Even our finicky stepson shuts up and eat the meal. Their shrimps were much bigger before, but It seems to be getting smaller and smaller. BBQ Beef is tender. I wonder how they marinate the meat... Bon Apetit! read more

The interior is really cute. Like way beyond cute. And it's so roomy. My dad and I came in to order to-go to bring home. We got the BBQ/Katsu Combo platter. The place has good food, but the portions are pretty small. When we go to similar restaurants the box is usually overflowing with food! This place has the best customer service. They really go above and beyond. I recently had throat surgery and have been on a mushy food and liquid diet. Today is the third day I trying solid food. I ordered the mixed bbq plate and asked if they could cut it up for me. I explained the cashier the I'm recovering from throat surgery so its hard to swallow solid food. We got our food to go and let me tell u when I got home and opened My container I shocked at how well they cut my chicken and beef. First off, the macaroni salad is INCREDIBLE! That being said, I got the seafood combo and, for the price, it was wonderful. The only real problem was that the shrimp was very over cooked, and dry. If not for the katsu sauce it would have been too dry to eat; however, I will add that the ratio of breading on the shrimp was perfect, and had it not been over cooked (which is so easy to do with shrimp, especially when they're butterflied as these were) they probably would have been outstanding. The whitefish was flakey and moist inside its light breading. The rice was cooked expertly. Once again, that macaroni salad is beyond delicious (really wish I still had some left). The establishment appeared to be very clean (which I'm sure everyone can agree is a good thing) and the decor is minimal and doesn't try to distract you from what you're eating. read more

I love this place. When I want Hawaiian food, I go hear. I always get the spicy chicken hot flame something. This place is simply amazing. The best thing here besides the spicy hot flame chicken, is the sauces they provide for you, are hot (temperature). I wish every place in the country would give you hot spices. Fast service for food and their cream cheese is the bomb for appetizers. The prices are decent with portions being big enough to fill up my belly. If there's one thing they need to improve on, is to have a signature juice blend, which will come great with every platter I get. read more
