We ordered takoyaki, chicken karage (not pictured), and softshell crab bun (not pictures) as appetizers. We had their spicy chicken miso ramen and short rib shoyu ramen. It all goood. We love it! The service is amazing!

Best Lunch Special offering on 6th Ave especially when running around holiday shopping. They have a wide selection of sushi and ramen dishes. As well plenty of options for alcohol. The food comes out very quickly but they let you linger and take your time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As busy as this place gets it still seems quiet with its dim lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

an average nyc ramen spot with decently pricey ramen. not bad but nothing stands out to distinguish it from other places. i got the mapo tofu ramen which was interesting but i probably wouldnt get again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the interior is nice though.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Got seated pretty immediately at the bar for a Saturday lunch. Their lunch combo is a fantastic deal. 22$ for a ramen and an appetizer combo. The shoyu ramen was fantastic and the bao bun was good too. It was a lot of food.

Was in the area and was craving a warm soupy meal, so we landed on Oramen. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is well decorated with dim lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great, the staff were attentive and ready to help us at all times. My friend and I both got the spicy tuna roll and the ramen set. The food tasted good, but not much more than that. It's not bad by any means, just nothing special. It works in a pinch, but I think there's probably better options if you're looking for sushi or ramen.

Dim lighting for ambiance. Friendly staff. Yummy food. Haven't eaten in Manhattan for a hot minute so I forgot how sky-high the prices are. Salmon Crispy Rice - $15 The salmon was raw so I didn't touch this, but everyone who did enjoyed it. Popcorn chicken - $15 Was a little disappointed because it didn't look or taste like the popcorn chicken I'm used to, which is not wet, very crunchy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. This dish resembled a wet karaage more, though they did have a karaage appetizer on the menu as well. The flavor was hot and spicy, which made it a little better, but the texture was not it. I wouldn't get this again! Spicy Miso Ramen - $19 Like any other miso ramen! It was decent but nothing particularly stood out.

Tried this ramen place randomly as it was nearby and convenient. Service was good. Got the soft shell crab roll, curry chicken, and tonkatsu ramen. All very good!

This place was great! I went here out of the blue with some family and it was a good decision we made. We ate everything and had no issues. And it filled us! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the ambiance--the lighting was calming, which is nice to have when dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great too--the waiters always refilling the waters and making sure we had all that we needed.

This is a great little spot around the Chelsea area with simple dishes and good serving sizes of main courses. The sushi rolls could have been bigger but were still just right and flavorful, fresh, appetizing. Their staff is fast and friendly and we got our food pretty quickly. I ordered a lemon cocktail and it wasn't strong at all so their bar drinks menu is just a refreshing alternative to soda/water. Good place for date night too!

Love their lunch specials. The ramen it's always great! The servers are always attentive. The lychee lemonade and martini are also delicious and refreshing.

We had no idea what to eat around chelsea/flatiron. We walked for a bit, but there's literally nothing in that area lol, but we did figure out that we wanted ramen, so that was a start. We popped in ramen in our maps/yelp and we both decided on Oramen. We both got the lunch special: one entree and one small app. We got the spicy veggie miso with vegetable gyoza. The gyoza lacked flavor and was mushy on one side while crispy on the other, so I wasn't a fan. My friend didn't mind it and enjoyed it. We both really liked the spicy veggie miso. It was super filling and tasty! Definitely worth the price! Great uf you want a fulfilling and warm meal! Price: $$ Rating: 7.5/10

Went to Oramen for lunch couple of weeks ago. It's a nice restaurant, very cozy inside with a nice big bar. There's a shack style outdoor sitting area. Best part, it doesn't get crazy busy during lunch time. Their menu is huge, with all sort of Japanese dishes and drinks. We got to try the ramen, takoyaki, and my favorite chicken katsu curry. All of the dishes were delicious. The katsu curry is amazing, not spicy but has a hint of kick. The chicken cutlet was moist, not overcooked. Excellent ramen noodles and soup. The service is nice, plenty of servers sharing and taking care of all tables. Since our last visit, we have been there again for lunch.

Pretty well and tasty neighbourhood Japanese restaurant. Came here for a quick early dinner so seating was not an issue. Lots of options to choose from but we ended with the usual Japanese classics. All was pretty good and we swiftly finished it with no leftovers in sight. The crispy salmon seemed to be the star of the show. Service was pretty good and attentive albeit the restaurant wasn't that packed at the time.

The whole experience is a journey lol. You customize your ramen exactly how you want it and then sit in these little individual booths that are meant to let you actually focus on the food. I got the Classic Tonkotsu Ramen with the spicy red sauce and the soft boiled egg. The broth was rich and creamy, the noodles were so good, and mixing the spicy sauce into everything was probably my favorite part. AND GET THE EGG. It comes in the shell and you crack it yourself, which somehow makes the whole thing even more fun, and it was cooked perfectly. My friend couldn't finish her ramen, so naturally I finished hers too That should tell you everything you need to know. Service was super quick and easy. You barely interact with anyone because of how the booths work, but that's part of what makes it so cool. The ramen is $21, which honestly isn't bad for Times Square. Good food, such a cool experience, and definitely somewhere I'd go back to.

Some of the staff has been here for a while, which tells me it is a well managed operation. Quality is still the focus at TONCHIN. Table comfort is still not. I love to bring my children when not crazy crowded so they can also enjoy one of the best ramen restaurants in the world. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but I haven't found better yet. Summer soupless ramen with perfectly chewy noodles and slightly spicy sauce is a great addition. The vegan ban ban kinoko as well as its chicken version are great also during summer. The maguro is delicious but I don't find it as satisfying as the noodles. Mind spiciness level for the younglings. In the winter, the spicy tantan or Tokyo ramen always hit the spot. Fish bun has been improved slightly over the years but thank ramen-sama, it is always as messy to eat as the first time I tried it 7 years ago. Desserts are surprisingly delicious. Typically Japanese ramen restaurants lack in that domain but not here. The Tokyo banana is perfectly crafted: creamy crunchy tasty. The shaved ice are great and super fun to eat. To many more years of happy reviews, and good fortune.

We started with the pork belly appetizer which was recommended and stated on the menu indicating it's their featured dish. It was the biggest disappointment as it was extremely fatty with large chunks of fat, while the lean portions were dry. It didn't look very appetizing. The dumplings were just okay--they had decent flavor but I was hoping for a crispier texture. I ordered the Zebra Ramen. The noodles were cooked perfectly al dente, but the broth was much saltier than I would have preferred. The pat of butter felt unnecessary and made the broth overly rich without adding much depth. The chashu was on the small side and also quite fatty and I assume it's the same as the appetizer but was sliced instead of in large chunks. The marinated egg had good flavor, although the yolk was a little more cooked than I typically like. Another thing is the pork belly appetizer came with an egg. I wish the server would tell us so we didn't have to add it to our ramen with an extra charge. The nori was also completely soggy by the time it reached our table. Overall, the noodles were the only highlight of the meal and the rest were very underwhelming. It's definitely not a place I would recommend.

This spot delivers the kind of authentic paitan that reminds you why people used to line up on cold sidewalks just for a bowl. I ordered the Paitan Ramen Deluxe, and it genuinely lives up to the name. The broth is silky, rich, and comforting without being overly salty which is exactly what a proper paitan should be. The bowl comes loaded: tender shredded chicken, seared chashu, marinated soft-boiled eggs, fresh scallions, bamboo shoots, and a sheet of nori that ties everything together. Every topping tastes intentional, not just filler. The texture balance is what really stands out fatty chashu that melts, shredded chicken with real flavor, and noodles that hold up beautifully in the broth. You can taste the care in the soup base; it has depth, not just heat or salt. If you loved Totto Ramen back in the day, this feels like its modern successor same spirit, new precision.
