I've dined here several times and have also worked a few events, and I've always had positive experiences. The biggest highlight is, without a doubt, the view. Perched on a hill overlooking the city, it's especially beautiful at sunset and after dark. The scenery alone makes it a wonderful spot for a date night or a special occasion. The food has been consistently enjoyable. The hors d'oeuvres served at the events I've attended were all delicious, and during a previous dinner I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, which was excellent. It was cooked just the way I like it, moist and flaky with a firm texture rather than soft and mushy. My only real complaint is the parking. The restaurant uses valet, and I wish there were a self-parking option instead. Personally, I'd rather park my own car than pay for valet when the parking area is right there. It also puts guests in the awkward position of feeling obligated to tip on top of the valet fee. That said, the beautiful setting, great food, and overall atmosphere make this a place I'd gladly return to, especially for a special evening with an amazing view.
I am flabbergasted that this restaurant only has 3.6 stars. I flew in from Florida the morning I came here. I had planned to go to Laguna, but after such a long flight, I couldn't make myself sit in the car for another hour. Instead, I looked for a restaurant with a view closer to Anaheim. That's how I stumbled upon this gem. First, the front is gorgeous with water features and a little pond. There is a fireplace out front. The view from inside is amazing with the sunset. It would be a fabulous location for events! (There were two events happening when I came for dinner.) Just note it is valet only! I showed up 15 minutes before my reservation, and I was seated right away. The hostess was very nice. I had mentioned to the hostess that I was starving, and she told my waiter who made sure not to disappoint. Jenner was my waiter, and he was great! He was very attentive and offered me great recommendations, which is probably why my meal was darn near perfect. First, THEY GIVE YOU COMPLIMENTARY HONEY CORNBREAD. When I saw Jenner walking up to my table with that giant hunk of corn mealy goodness I about died of happiness. It was so yummy! For my app, I got the tomato burrata salad. That was the highlight of my meal. (Surprising after how I spoke about the cornbread, no?) This salad comes with a huge ball of burrata on top of a pile of tomatoes, peaches, and fennel. It was sweet, it was creamy, it was herbaceous...it was PERFECTLY refreshing. (Definitely not a one person salad. Trust me.) My entree was the Wild Mushroom Pappardelle Pasta with truffle whipped ricotta and basil. I added chicken since my protein was lacking today. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The pasta was creamy, but the truffle was not in the room with us. I love mushrooms, truffle, and basil, so that was a bummer, but honestly, I can't remove a star for that. I washed this all down with a nice glass of wine, and I left feeling fat and sassy...and with three boxes of leftovers. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach, but if you think I left a morsel of food on that table, think again. Update: I finished the burrata salad and cornbread for breakfast...it was just as good. I wish I had more.
Ambiance: Absolutely gorgeous! Reservation required so plan early and get the outdoor seating at the golden hour to enjoy the sunset. Indoor seating is very nice as well. We had a private booth like area. Food: The house corn bread is spectacular! Freshly made from kitchen and when you taste with the pink salt or their house chili butter, it's a whole other level! The prime rib was great and the 50/50 mash that comes with it is amazing as well. On the other hand, the miso marinated sea bass was cooked so well that it melted in your mouth but the black rice is a bit too sweet. Their deserts are just okay, so I'd suggest keep your stomach for a local creamery.
Came here to experience the beauty I was told it had. The view is good, but it would be better without the smog. As you walk in, they have a small bridge path that has Koi Fish underneath the water. We had made a reservation, so the wait was only 5 minutes. The place is simply decorated, nothing stood out, but the view was awesome. The Corn bread was nothing to brag about. We all ordered the steaks, and they were not bad. They have some fancy drinks, but after a couple of drinks not remember the names of them. Our main complaint was that the area we sat in the AC went out, and they said it was on. NO IT WASN'T. They have inside and outside seating . Not a bad place if you like the best view of the city.
Came here for our anniversary dinner, and we had a great time. The food was solid, our server was so kind, and the views were great! I had the prime rib with mashed potatoes. It was pretty foggy the night we visited, but I imagine the views are spectacular on a clear day.
Very good prime rib and short ribs. Loved the mashed potatoes and broccolini. Very nice music in the dining room. Great service waiters are nice and overall a wonderful dining experience. Valet parking is $10. View is spectacular. The feel of being in La Jolla sans ocean! Haven't been here in 45 years and now will come again a bit sooner next time. Drive up the hill is quite the thrill.
My boyfriend surprised me with a reservation at Orange Hill for my birthday! I had a wonderful time. Our reservation was conveniently made through the OpenTable app. Parking is valet. We were seated promptly at our reservation time of 7:15pm. The restaurant is gorgeous and sits on a hill overlooking the city of Orange. During the summer, there is a breathtaking view of the sunset right at dinnertime. Our server was Ailyn, who was such a sweetheart. She took amazing care of us and went above and beyond to provide us excellent service. Complimentary cornbread is provided, served with a drizzle of honey, Himalayan sea salt, and a cayenne infused butter. The butter is so good and really makes the cornbread shine. I had the "Paid Vacation" cocktail, served in a glass ball swinging on a crescent moon shaped hanger. Everything about this drink from its presentation to its flavors was loud, fun, and summery. You are given a Szechuan flower to nibble on before sipping your drink, numbing your tongue with a mala tingling sensation. The drink itself is vodka based with passionfruit. I loved the tropical taste and playful presentation. This drink is one of four "main character" cocktails that one would order if one desired the attention of the entire room. And it was my birthday, so of course I did. For our appetizers, we got the caviar frites and crispy rice tuna tartare. The caviar frites were perfectly crispy and seasoned. I loved the accompaniments such as the vodka creme fraiche and dollops of caviar. The crispy rice tuna tartare was plated beautifully. The tuna was fresh and spicy, and I loved the crispy rice on the bottom. At this point in our meal, Ailyn advised us to take pictures with the gorgeous sunset on the patio while we waited for our entrees. A small handful of people were doing the same. The sunset was especially breathtaking from our vantage point. I could see every layer of the rainbow embedded in the blazing California sky. I had the filet mignon and added an Atlantic lobster tail. The filet was so tender and juicy. The lobster tail was cooked perfectly. I really liked the side of 50/50 mashed potatoes as well. The mash was extremely creamy and the crispy bits of potato "hay" on top were delicious. I had a lovely experience at Orange Hill. I would definitely come back.
Food was really good, we asked for the garlic fries to come first. They also served us their homemade corn bread with a chipotle butter. I ordered the bone-in ribeye medium rare, and it was perfect. Super tender with light seasoning that's not overpowering the flavor from the meat. I also ordered one of their drink, ghosted, super yummy when the popsicle melted into the drink. The service was great, our waiter checked in on us pretty frequently as well as the manager. The ambiance was very nice as well. The view of the sunset was super beautiful. One down side is the area is a little tight, and because we're sitting right where the view is, you'll have some people trying to take pictures by your table, disrupting our dinner by trying to squeeze through the tiny space. People don't realize is that there's an area a little further down for people to take pictures where you won't interfere with others dining.. but overall, great place, amazing food and perfect sunset view!
The food and view was excellent, but the service was awful. It felt like our waitress was trying to do the bare minimum the whole night. We were celebrating a birthday and they had asked if we were celebrating anything at the beginning of the night and we told them we were. Once we got our dessert they didn't do anything special which was weird because they had just sung happy birthday to the table behind us. We expected this place to be expensive but not $15 for a small glass of lemonade. There was also quite a few cockroaches and mice in the outdoors area, so if you go here I would recommend sitting inside.

Not a huge fan of the food here, but the views are nice. Parking is on site, but there is a $10 valet fee. Once seated, you do enjoy the view. My friends and I dined at night so we were able to enjoy the city lights and even see the Disneyland fireworks. We ordered a lot of different things like the tuna over crispy rice, which was good. Coconut shrimp, which was OK. I ordered the tomato and burata salad, which was not good at all. The salad came with peaches that I was expecting for it to be grilled peaches, but these were canned peaches that were put in the salad that did not pair well with the dish. We also tried the butter fish, which was good, the short rib and the chicken. We ordered drinks, which I believe is what they're really known for. Very sugary for our taste but if you like sweet drinks, they have plenty to offer. The service was OK there were times in the night where we were waiting for our server to come around so we can ask for more water or extra napkins.
Happy Anniversary brunch with my Bestie and her hubby. The Orange Hill is beautifully located in the hills of Orange. The ambiance is tranquil and serene. From the calming sounds of water when you first walk up, to the cozy fire burning at the entrance, to the breath taking views, and the comfortable seating. It's absolutely beautiful and there's a few photo ops. The service was great. We opted to sit in the bar at a window seat. The bar does not require a reservation. If seating is available, it's first come first serve. Our server was amazing. He was tentative to our needs and kept our drinks coming. There was a small issue where he almost over charged us $30 for an extras bottomless mimosa but luckily we caught the error and it was corrected before checking out. The food was delicious. I opted for the Dry Aged Burger. It comes with a slice of heirloom tomato, arugula, cheddar cheese, and bacon onion marmalade on a toasted brioche bun with chili crisp aioli and a side of fries. I request my burger medium and it was cooked to perfection. It was juicy and packed with flavor. The brioche was soft and that bacon onion jam was a game changer. I also had the spinach dip. This was one of the best I've had at a restaurant. It was packed with artichoke, spinach, mozzarella, and Parmesan. It was rich and full of flavor. It was nice to actually taste artichoke. It was served with warm soft pita bread. I tasted my girlfriend's Berry Boujee French Toast and that was an experience. It was rich, sweet, indulgent, everything you'd find in gourmet French toast. The strawberry & cherry blossom cream was heaven with the brûléed lemon curd (sweet and tart). It was a perfect balance on the soft brioche French toast. This is a very sophisticated French toast and the flavors are bold. If you don't love lemon I would consider a different dish or have it removed. This dish did not need syrup. Last, the seafood tower was full of fresh seafood. It comes with tuna poke, scallops, lobster, crab, shrimp, and oysters. Everything was fresh and absolutely amazing. If you're looking for a more upscale place to dine with beautiful views check this place out. Also, you will have to pay $10 for valet parking. They only have valet, even with handicap.
I'd like to point out how amazing the bar staff are. Karla, Matt, Scott, Sean, Beau, Cassidy....even Tommy! I'm here pretty often as I usually stop by after work for a meal and drink. The food, to me, has always been great. From chicken and waffles to their filet mignon and everything in between, I've never had any complaints. Food is flavorful and plentiful. You cannot beat the view and setting. Your views extend from the mountains to the sea, and the interior is tastefully decorated. Top notch place for any reason! BONUS: Did I mention how great Karla is?
What a view! Easily the best view from a restaurant in Orange County. Decided to come up here for a date night and it didn't disappoint. Service was great, food was great, view is unparalleled especially at sunset! We started with the surf and turf deviled eggs and a wedge salad. Basically deviled eggs with a thick cut chunk of bacon and a fried piece of lobster on top. Definitely worth trying. The wedge had the same thick cut chunks of bacon on top with some blue cheese crumbles and ranch dressing. Delish! Then the star of the show, the steak progressive. Essentially 4 types of steak served on a platter with 4 accoutrements; a filet mignon, hangar steak, ribeye, and Wagyu zabuton, with a small grilled onion, pink peppercorn, sea salt, and a red wine jam with garlic in the middle. I love filet mignon but the best cut was definitely the Wagyu zabuton, it had so much flavor I would get just that cut next time. The whole platter was perfect. Also got a side of broccolini & broccoli just to add some green. They have a huge wine selection as well as a full bar with a bunch of interesting cocktails. I had a glass of their butter-fat washed Buffalo Trace that usually comes in one of their cocktails. It's worth trying by itself, very smooth with a unique flavor. Our server was on top of things despite having a bunch of tables to take care of. A manager even stopped by to check on things which is always nice because it shows they really care about your experience. It's been a long time since I've eaten at Orange Hill but I'll have to go back again sooner. If you haven't been you should check it out! read more

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful birthday dinner and first-time experience at Orange Hill. The scenery and views are absolutely beautiful and definitely help justify the price. The service was excellent as well. Since it was a busy evening, we waited about 15 minutes to be seated, and there were some delays between courses. However, our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful when it came to choosing what to order, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We ordered two drinks, the spinach artichoke dip, 50/50 mash, and the Western Angus ribeye steak. Everything tasted great, and we left feeling completely satisfied. We were also served a complimentary cornbread dish which was delicious and they surprised my girlfriend with a complimentary brownie dessert for her birthday. She loved it! I did have two minor concerns. While doing research, I was put off by the mandatory valet parking service. We were charged a $10 valet fee, plus a 3.2% card surcharge. In the end it wasn't a big deal, and it was actually a fun first-time valet experience. My main concern was the steak preparation. I saw common complaints about how steaks turned out in reviews so I was worried. My girlfriend ordered the ribeye medium-rare but it was closer to medium and some parts were medium-well. She didn't notice and she still enjoyed it though I thought it was alright. I hope if and when we come back, we don't have the same problem. Overall, we had a fantastic first visit and would absolutely eat here again for another special occasion. The combination of great food, excellent service, and stunning views made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend giving Orange Hill a try on your next special dinner! read more

The views, food, non-alcoholic drinks and service was on point although it was the first day of 2026 when everyone's tired from the New Year's festivities. It took time for me to digest what happened last night, I was celebrating my Anniversary and wanted to go to a plc where the view was beautiful, it was, I ordered the lobster & shrimp pasta, the pasta was like a purple color, I took 3 bites n the 3rd bite I was trying to figure out what was in my mouth n I pulled out a roll of hair, long hair, I spit my food out n told the waitress. She apologized n took the food back to the chef. The Manager came by my table n apologized n said we do not have anyone in the back with long hair n I looked @ ur hair n it might have came from u? I looked @ him like what did u just say?! He offered a dessert on him n I said no I lost my appetite. I will not be going back there! read more

Orange Hill holds a special place in my heart. Many years ago, we used to take my mom to their Mother's Day Brunch when she was still alive.They no longer have the buffet. Those moments are so cherished. We have only attended Orange Hill on special occasions since then. This time was to celebrate a special birthday, and as usual WE WERE EXTREMELY HAPPY that we chose Orange Hill. The drive up the hill already sets the starry night ambience. As your car pulls up, there is the valet area already waiting for you. As you walk to the entrance, get your camera ready, there are several areas that are perfect for pictures that include waterfalls and mini ponds. There is even an outside relaxation area with huge couches and an oversized fireplace! When you enter the restaurant, the reception area is already fully decorated for Christmas. Absolutely gorgeous! Our service professional Maliah was top notch amazing. She had such a vibrantly contagious personality. She was so welcoming and friendly. She was on point with recommendations and why she was recommending the dishes. She also went out of her way and offered to take family pics of us outside to catch the stars and view of the city. She listened and recognized our sort occasion. Level 1-5 5 Exceptional Service 5 Ambience 4-5 beautiful view and decorations that were not too much. Our seating was very tight together even though we set reservations months ago. I had to keep asking my husband to pull out his chair for me to get out. Food 4 5 Short ribs -amazingly tender with great flavor and wine gravy. 5 Fried red snapper had the right crispy outside and the middle was flakey and well seasoned. 4 Wagyu appetizer The strips cooking on the freezing brick was fun ... The meat was good but I had better Wagyu. The sauce and salt made it yummy. 4 Wagyu Dinner The meat was tender as expected, but the seasoning was definitely lacking. For cuts like this, I hope not to depend on sauces for flavor. 3 The broccoli and broccolini combo was well seasoned with a bit of kick. The broccoli section were mushy. 4 Porterhouse was cooked perfectly to medium rare, but there was a lack of seasoning and flavor. There were some bites with good flavor but not all the way through. Also, there were a lot of fatty areas. The raspberry sauce made a big difference to add flavor. 4 Oysters were fresh and yummy but they could have cleaned it better. There were a lot of sand or bits of shells. 5 Salmon very flavorful and cooked perfectly. 4 Lobster shrimp Bucatini great flavor but the noodles were just a lil overcooked. 3 Lobster we ordered 2 but one was very overcooked and mushy. We had to return it so they gave us a new one to go. Overall, it was an amazing night. We definitely made more cherished memories here. read more
This review is for a recent experience renting an event space at Orange Hill for a few hours to host a birthday celebration. Overall, it was a success, and the whole family and all the guests had a great time. EVENT DETAILS: We finalized the party details with Cindy Lee and Kalea Brown. They helped with a package deal that worked for us. On event day, we were able to arrive early to set up the space. The Starlight event space was perfect and spacious. Additionally, the nearly 180-degree window views are amazing, overlooking the city. Unfortunately, it was mostly overcast during our stay, but we did get a peek of the sun after lunch. Additional features we requested for an extra cost were a dance floor and a projector screen. Reuben and the rest of the staff were exceptional throughout our event, from setup to serving food and drinks, and behind-the-scenes work. FOOD: We had a choice of set meal options, which came with hors d'oeuvres, salad, main entrée, and dessert. After the appetizers and before the entrée, we had a champagne toast. * Appetizers: grilled chicken skewers & crispy coconut shrimp * Fresh-made bread and butter * House mixed green salad with vinaigrette * We had two entrée options for our guests: a Rosemary Bistro Filet and Pan-Seared Salmon. There's also a vegetarian option, but no one in our party requested it. * Dessert: Chocolate lava cake. Yum! I had a filet cooked medium, and it was a bit chewy. The sauce added a much-needed flavor and moisture. We didn't have a choice in how we wanted the meat cooked; most everyone had it cooked in the medium range. I heard the salmon was delicious. My favorite items were the juicy grilled chicken skewers and lava cake dessert. As part of our package, a two-hour bar service was included, which featured wine and beer. Javier, the bartender, was friendly and offered a nice selection of drinks. OTHER NOTES: * The event length was from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm (including clean up) * Valet parking only, with the option to cover all party guest parking for a $9 fee per car * Additional fees for administrative and gratuity Is it worthwhile to plan an event at Orange Hill? For our situation, it was worth it, especially if you want to splurge a little and plan something memorable. read more

HAVE: Calamari 8 oz filet mignon Benedict Hangover hash Came for brunch as a birthday treat. I ordered the 8 oz Filet Mignon Benedict - while you get a decent-sized portion of steak, there isn't anything special about the preparation or the flavor. It basically feels like a standard steak-and-egg breakfast, served on toast. My husband had the Hangover Hash - only to figure out why "hangover" is the name after it was served. It is a true recovery meal - high protein and carbs for recovery and that very salty taste to replace electrolytes. Hangover or not - this dish is not for us! The appetizer calamari mixed with onions and peppers was the only dish I actually liked. The mix was simple but worked well together. We waited 20-30 minutes for our reservation, and the service was slow. After the food came we had to flag staff down for assistance. It was a busy Saturday morning, and a celebration blocked off part of the dining area. The restaurant is located right over the hill - just as the name suggests. The entrance has a peaceful fish pond. It also has several function rooms for events. While the views from the hilltop are stunning - I kinda wondered if the taste of the food truly lives up to the scenery. read more
Came for a birthday dinner and had a blast! The view from our outdoor table was gorgeous and the service was top-notch. Highlights were the massive, delicious steaks and the great drink menu (mocktails included!). I'm giving it 4 stars solely because the seating was a bit tight; barely enough room on the table for our plates. Overall, great food and vibes! read more
The Steak Progressive includes filet mignon 8oz, prime hanger 8oz, wagyu zabuton 4oz, mid-western angus ribeye 7oz is amazing. I usually order medium rare but I did medium because of the wagu. Also love the caviar fries. The view is one of the best in OC. You can see Catalina on a clear day. read more

We had a reservation on a Friday evening to celebrate our anniversary. The valet service was great and we waited 5-10 minutes to be seated. We sat outside and the sunset was amazing! Our server was Noelle and I would give her another 5 stars if I could for making our date perfect. The food was so delicious! I wish I took pictures of the food but we just started to dig in as everything looked so good. We ordered the snapper, steak, a couple of appetizers and have no complaints. Noelle also brought out a special dessert for our anniversary, the chocolate cake was so good as well. I would definitely recommend anyone celebrate a special event here and will be coming back! read more

Had our wedding at Orangehill and it was the best venue to work with! Cindy was amazing from start to finish on helping us coordinate and the day of the banquet coordinator was great! Our guests loved the food and you can't beat the view. Will be coming back here for every anniversary :) read more

We just went back for another visit over the weekend to celebrate 3 birthdays: mine and my in-laws. We just happen to have 3 birthdays occurring all within the same week. My MIL made the reservation and we arrived separately. Valet is now $9 up from what it was the last time we were here. We let the hostess know we were checking in and wanted a table on the patio. We were told that they would do their best and we could go hang out in the bar area. Once our table was ready, we were walked out to the patio area. There's an amazing view of the coast on a clear evening. We ordered a few drinks like the Ghosted cocktail that comes in a sugar skull mug and the Honeydew old fashioned. My in-laws had the margarita and one of the herbal cocktails that came in a hanging glass. I do have to say that they have upped their cocktail game. Give the mixologists a round of applause! We also ordered the coconut shrimp and crab cake to start. They brought out complimentary corn bread for us to share. We ordered the wedge salad and garlic fries. My husband had the filet mignon with side of mashed potatoes and I ordered the prime rib. My in-laws shared the burger and some of the steak we had. It was a glorious meal topped off with 3 complimentary brownies a la mode with candles celebrating our respective birthdays. It was a delightful meal for us. We made a reservation for 7:30 and arrived partial (4 out of 7) with the full party arriving at 7:40. We did not sit at a table until 8:25, almost a full hour after our reserved time. The appetizers were great. We ordered the calamari, brussel sprouts and 1 dozen of their oysters. All super tasty. Everyone around the table got different items and had no complaints. I did have to send my steak back, I ordered the Waygu 8oz cut. It was very difficult to cut and chew. I tried to cut very small bites after having difficulty with the first and it was still excessive. The waiter was very kind and offered me another steak of my choosing, which I did decline. The sides (all separate if you order a steak cut) were great as well. The mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and broccoli/broccolini was all enjoyed. Our server was great as well. Overall, good experience. I could see myself coming back, but that long wait for a table with a reservation doesn't make me itch for it anytime soon. I was disappointed with my steak but have no complaints about any of the other dishes. read more
Our server Adam was amazing and super attentive. The atmosphere is always breathtaking, starting with the drive up the hill and into the valet parking is the start of evening. You're then greeted by the exterior since it is fall there are pumpkins and hay barrels and of course the koi ponds. We arrived early to enjoy a drink before dinner in their Bar. We checked in prior to getting our drinks and once our table was ready they escorted us to our table! Now on to the main course, pun intended. The food is always spectacular. We got the coconut shrimp to start, then I got the 24 hour herb roasted prime rib and my husband got the Salmon. Both were delish. We ended the night with the Cafe Con Leche for dessert to cap our Anniversary! read more

I went here to deleverage a friend's birthday for dinner. I got the crispy rice tuna tartare as an app and it was good. The rice wasn't crispy and it kept falling apart. I got the lobster tail as the main entree and it was delicious. The service was nice but did not come to my table frequently. I wasn't sure why so it took us a long time for my table to order drinks and our food. Nonetheless the view from the restaurant is stunning. The inside is very nice and accompanying to a large party. I came here last weekend for my friend's farewell party since she got a new job and we were celebrating. It was such a classy and beautiful experience from start to finish. They have a banquet hall that is often used for weddings and I am pretty sure there was a wedding going on the same night. The views from the top of the hill are to die for and the whole atmosphere just feels special. The drinks and food were phenomenal and the way everything was presented made it even better. Prices are a little on the upper scale but it is worth it for the experience you are getting. I will definitely come back here and honestly I will find a reason to because it was perfect. read more

If you never been to this restaurant and live nearby then you are missing out. The view of Orange and the food here are amazing. I came with my friends to grab brunch and had the best experience. It's valet parking but the price is not too bad. The girls ordered the brunch platter that had crab legs, Belgian waffle, prime rib, bacon, sausage and potatoes. The brunch platter was delicious and enough to go around for all of us. The mimosa from the bar was spot on when we were there and the bartender were amazing Customer service was top notch, they were attentive and on top of their game for us. read more

Made a lunch reservation for my SO birthday. The restaurant had a nice peaceful atmosphere. The staff was very nice to us and made recommendation of the calamari and the sandwich if we wanted to eat light. It was perfect to share between the both of us. Had a complimentary brownie to celebrate the birthday and came out of there with smiles all around. For a place this fancy, it was all reasonably priced! Will come back again! read more

Orange Hill Restaurant is one of those iconic places that you need to try at least once. It sits on top of a pretty big hill that overlooks a portion of Orange County and has a beautiful sunset. Perfect for dates, group dinner or just want a nice view while you eat! Keep in mind there's no self-parking as they only provide valet parking and it's best to make reservation just to ensure you have a table when you get there. With that in mind, lets get to the food! FOOD Fried Calamari Appetizer This one was simply addicting. I'm pretty picky when it comes to fried calamari and this one had the perfect crunch, flavoring and the citrus buffalo aioli sauce pairing is simply chef's kiss! Prime Rib I only had one bite sample on this dish as this was my girlfriend's entree, but that one bite definitely ALMOST made me regret on ordering what I had. I think I'll be getting this the next time we visit for sure! Zinfandel Braised Short Rib This was my dish. Another type of food I'm picky with. Ribs tasted pretty amazing but pairing it with the sauce completely amplifies everything and don't even get me started with the mash potatoes. It's just mash potatoes right? How good can it be....let me tell you. These are no ordinary mash potatoes, these can definitely make a grown man shed a tear...not that I did *ahem* anyway, if you enjoy good ribs and good mash potatoes, I highly recommend this dish! OVERALL We had a great time and enjoyed the food. I think we'll be stopping by again and if you're planning to visit this fine establishment, I'd book a reservation and make it towards the time of sunset depending on season as I feel you'd get the full experience. Unfortunately I wanted to give a shout-out to our server but I forgot her name (so sorry) she was super helpful and ecstatic! I went for my 10th year anniversary and I can say there was very little to complain about with the food being amazing the patio fire pit view of the sunset and the Customer Service from the waiters. Although I do have to point out any notes in regards to request or labeling of the event on the OpenTable app that they have you do the reservation with will not be read. I Have also verified this with an employee that's an ongoing issue. I had requested a patio view on the app and they did not know of the request. Let alone said I would have to wait longer, past my reservation time for the requested patio seating. So I had to wait an extra 30 minutes. Other than that it was a good experience read more

I'm wrapping up my staycation at Orange Hill, and the experience was absolutely divine. From the moment I arrived, the hostess set the tone. She greeted me with such warmth and genuine friendliness, and thoughtfully seated me at what truly felt like the best table in the house. It made the experience feel special right from the start. Chris, my server, brought it all home. His service was exceptional--patient, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive while also giving me the space to relax and reflect, which I really appreciated during my staycation. I never felt rushed, only cared for. To top it off, he wished me a wonderful staycation, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. My meal was nice but their valet drove over a nail and before I even got down the hill I was being notified of a completely flat front tire! So, instead of having a nice meal and heading home because I was too tired to cook dinner, I'm now waiting an hour for a tow from AAA. This is going to cost me hundreds of dollars to repair and I'm also just plain old exhausted. Really ruined an otherwise good meal. It's been a while since we visited Orange Hill restaurant. We used to come here for brunch or late night drinks before pandemic. Last time was actually during pandemic. They'v just renovated this place so it's more open and very bright now. The Father's Day brunch was fantastic. It's not buffet style but the amount of food we got was like a buffet. We loved the hot seafood platter upgrade and tea sandwiches. My favorites were the wedge salad and crudités. The dessert platter was so good. The service was excellent as usual. Orange hill restaurant still has the best views and service. We will definitely visit again soon! read more

Went to Orange Hill for my daughter's 21st Birthday. We arrived on time to realize that self parking was not allowed and valet was the only option. Dropped our car off and walked in to check in. We were a bit early and we were seated before our reservation, which was a great start. We were not given the option if we wanted to sit inside or outside, and I don't remember having that option when we made the reservation. The inside of the restaurant was very loud, felt like we had to almost be yelling to be able to hear each other at times. Our server came over and was very nice. She made several suggestions and it seemed like she was upselling us a lot, from bottles of wine to add-ons for my steak to desserts. It seemed like the food took forever to come out and when it did, the taste was really good for all of our meals, but we all commented that we wished the food was hotter temperature wise. I got a baked potato with my steak and had to bring it up it seemed that it had been sitting around for a long time because it was not hot. The server was able to get me a new potato within a few minutes, which was a little bit better, but was still not really hot. The server offered to take pictures of us after dinner with the view in the background what she did a very good job and the pictures came out great. Very thankful for her and how nice she was but after spending almost $500 on four people I'm not sure if we will be going back. The food had good flavor, the drinks were good and the wine was good, but I don't think it's worth what they charge. read more

Sunday Brunch: absolutely delicious - wonderful service - amazing location Valet ($10) takes care of parking your car and from then onwards a superb experience. We were seated on the terrace with marvelous views of the valley. Menu and waters were brought quickly, ordering scrumptious food and bottomless Mimosas. This is my go to for my birthday every year and anniversary every year. I love how attentive tv staff is. Great and fast service. The food is great! I always get the chicken sandwich at lunch and the smash burger for dinner. It's about an hour from me so I don't mind traveling there. They also celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. The brownie is so delicious. It's a very romantic atmosphere. The view is breathtaking. read more

Our experience would indicate no. Read the fine print on the coupon. I t most likely reads not valid for Happy Hour. They are looking for customers to "dine in" for lunch or dinner in the dining room.
