I feel so bad, because I couldn't, for the life of me. Remember my waitress's name! She was so kind, pleasant, very informative (a plus because I have never been here before), fast on her feet and really good at engaging with her tables. We threw the 40th birthday party for my wife at Orange Hill, and I honestly can't say enough good things about the team that helped us pull it off. The night went so smoothly, and a huge part of that was thanks to the people working behind the scenes. Edgar, our captain, was incredible: calm, organized, and on top of everything. Milton, Taylor, Krystal, and Juan were all so friendly and attentive throughout the evening. Our guests kept mentioning how great the service was. The bartenders, Tony and Juan, were fast, fun, and kept everyone happy at the bar. I also want to give a special shout-out to Cindy and Lindsay, the catering directors. They helped us plan the whole event from beginning to end and made the process much easier than I expected. Every question and every detail was handled with care. Between the food, the view, and the amazing staff, the night turned out better than we imagined. My son wanted a steak for his 18th Birthday, so we decided to bring him to Orange Hill. I've been here before for a banquet and wanted to try dinner. The location is gorgeous! It up in Orange Hills overlooking all of OC. It's valet parking only but not complimentary which is the reason for knocking off a star. It's $10 a car and still ask you to tip when you pay, in my opinion, it should be complementary since you're tipping. There was plenty of parking but it was a Monday. They have beautiful outdoor landscape with a koi pond, It's a very busy restaurant, so make sure you make a reservation. The hostess is are very nice, but even though I had a reservation, I still had to wait About 15 minutes. Which was fine with us. I made the reservation at 4:45. Just in time for sunset, so we went out there and enjoyed the views and took pictures while we waited. Our server Shannon was very attentive, and so nice and brought my son out a birthday brownie. The food, worth every penny! I ordered a salmon, and it was one of the best I've ever had and the mashed potatoes were delicious. My son ordered the fillet mignon with the baked potato, which was huge. Cooked medium rare and devoured. My other kids ordered the half of chicken, which was very flavorful and the double smashed burger, which was also a good portion and very delicious . The one in a melon was a good drink. This is a perfect restaurant for a date night or a special occasion. They have banquet rooms, and you can also sit outside they have fire pits and heaters, the view is absolutely stunning!! We asked Grok on our Tesla for a recommendation and it sent us to Orange Hill Restaurant. Wow. It absolutely nailed it. The views here are unreal. The restaurant sits high up on a hill and you feel like you can see everything. You get sweeping views of the valley, all the homes below, and even all the way out to the ocean. Watching the sun go down from up there felt like a whole experience, not just dinner. We shared the Dubai chocolate espresso martini and it was hands down the best espresso martini I have ever had. Rich, smooth, perfectly balanced, and just indulgent in the best way. If you come for sunset, grab a seat at the bar. It is the perfect spot to relax with a drink and watch the sky change. I also loved how they handle the blinds. They lower them while the sun is still bright so it is not in your face, then raise them right as the sun is about to set. Such a thoughtful touch. The servers warmly welcome us and these caviar fries are like so good they're creamy their potatoy and they have caviar which makes them taste even better and I got my salmon with my creamy mashed potatoes salmon wild caught and everything was so delicious in this place is so fun to drive up like they have this whole drive up where we have to drive up the mountain. Here's the thing. You pay for the view. It's stunning on a clear night. And our server was delightful. But the food. Just not good. I'm willing to pay higher prices for good food but the food here is just not good. I'm just going to touch on the apps here, but the coconut shrimp was overcooked & basically burnt. The Wedge salad which they offered to chop up for us was a joke. I honestly think it was from a bag. The caviar frites sounded super interesting and were awful. Unseasoned fries with some cheap caviar thrown on and I don't even know what the "crème freiche" was but was not good. Our bill was outrageous with food/drinks and not worth it. So we went to the Orange Hill restaurant on Mother's Day and it was upsetting. It all changed. First, they gave an option at the booking to reserve for regular menu. When we got there, turned out there is no such option (and other customers complained about that too), and we must take their Mother's Day special course for $115/person. Or else we were welcome to leave and have the valet fees refunded. We stayed as to not ruin the holiday, and the food was really disappointing. There was a lot of it, way too much, and of such mediocre quality that it was not enticing to take it home. One waiter pushed my friend from behind, and later as she was seated, he put his elbow on her head, then he was apologizing. It looked dirty, they would not clean the used tables, and we would be observing food scraps on leftover plates. They told us they are completely booked and made us wait almost half an hour to get seated, but only about 30% of tables were occupied, all others either dirty or empty. Our waitress was really nice, helpful, and professional, but that was the only good thing about this restaurant. So, this place has changed, sadly, to a very unpleasant one, and even the good view cannot save it. We are very definitely not coming back. What a sad decline! The reservation was made and we were able to get a requested seat near the view, we had attentive service throughout the night and it was a busy Saturday night as well, the food was all cooked to our request and it was delicious, and the overall ambiance was a modern steakhouse / not to those that feel too too fancy or anything like that. Had a co-worker reunion on a Thursday evening at Orange Hill. I didn't research ahead of time, but the parking is Valet only, but they do take card. I didn't get to see the view at the top of the restaurant since it was cloudy and raining that day, but I'm sure it would have been very nice. The restaurant itself is large and has ample seating for large parties, which makes sense as its also an event space. Our server was super friendly and provided many great recommendations and checked up on us often. The food is good, but a little pricey, I'd recommend this as a great date spot or for a special occasion. We attended a company party and arrived around 6:00 pm. Upon arrival, cars were being turned away and directed to overflow parking at Santiago Canyon College. Unfortunately, the instructions provided were very limited. We spent about 15 minutes driving around trying to find where the shuttle pickup was located and eventually had to call members of our party for clarification. We finally found a parking lot where others were waiting for the shuttle. A Mercedes-Benz shuttle van arrived (about 15 passengers) and took us to the restaurant. When my husband was exiting the van, he tripped on the steps and fell to the ground. Thankfully he was not seriously injured, but his brand-new suit was torn with a large hole. My daughter also noticed that several other passengers stumbled slightly while stepping down, though they did not fall. When we looked carefully at the van later, the steps appeared to have extra layers and were quite narrow, making them difficult to see clearly especially when exiting at night. Whether this was an issue with the shuttle vehicle itself or with the overall parking and transportation arrangement, the experience felt poorly managed. With limited parking, clearer instructions or valet service would have made a big difference. Overall, this was an unpleasant and stressful start to what should have been a nice evening, and unfortunately resulted in damage to an expensive suit. read more

(burger he only took 2 bites out of and didn't eat the rest, it basically fell apart and there was way to much sauce with it to even be able to eat the whole thing unless you ate with a fork n knife) the mac & cheese though was delicious and creamy which we both agreed upon. the view was gorgeous we both loved the whole atmosphere of the place but the food on the other hand didn't meet our expectations based on the prices & location we thought it would. read more
