Love the breakfast burritos. Love the coffee. Love that if you bring your own coffee mug they will only charge for a small. BUT, the use of plastic utensils is unacceptable and lazy. Come on orange inn! You're already washing the plates, eliminate the constant plastic! Also, the chips they serve with "every" meal are terrible. This place is awesome! They have some good quality food, and the fresh squeezed orange juice is 10/10. The whole experience was made because of the excellent customer service of Alex the manager. This is a little tiny shack with a whole lot of flavor. If your bringing a large group then you'd best get it to go. You're likely not to get seating for everyone. The coffee is simple so you won't be getting a giant cup of specially mixed coffee here. However, the coffee is pretty good and nice and hot. (I hate Luke warm coffee) I ordered the almond croissant which is very buttery and one of my favorites, the orange muffin which is my husbands favorite and a brownie because they guy has always got to have his brownie whenever he can. I gave this place 3 stars because the really young girl taking our order was extremely unhappy. Clearly she did not want to be there. We waited 30 minutes for two coffees and our pastries. Some of your price structures are bat sh*t crazy and simply pure greed. Example...a ham and cheese croissant is $5.95, BUT to add 2 eggs to it jacks price up to $10.95!!! Nice work A-holes. Last i checked a dozen of premium eggs is about $4.00. So let's do the math there...$4.00/12 is $0.33 per egg. So your cost to add two eggs is $0.66, but you're charging customers $5.00!!! PRICE GOUGING 101! Should be max of $2.00. It's similar but not as bad with adding bacon to a breakfast burrito that doesn't already include it!! 2. Your coffee and tea drinks suck and are incredibly inconsistent! Go study starbucks or Laguna coffee co. Stop charging premium prices for sh*t coffee drinks that are tiny. Example a large cappuccino you guys fill up literally 1/10th of the cup, as compared to a starbucks venti, but charge the same. 3. Stop f'n asking me "do you wanna add a tip" every time for to-go orders! Don't awkward pressure people. Do like literally every other restaurant and get a digital POS touchscreen where customer can decide on their own if they want to tip! 4. You serve breakfast burritos, yet you offer zero homemade salsa variety. Instead you serve chips with a tiny salsa fresca. So is the tiny salsa for my chips (which no one wants for breakfast btw) or for the burrito? Am I supposed to eat a dry burrito or dry chips? This is a cute little spot on the main strip in Laguna. We were grateful they were open on Christmas Day as we were tourists in town and wanted a hot meal to start our morning. The food is plentiful, healthy and delicious. Great coffees and pastries, vegetarian options, oatmeal, fruit, super juices, omelettes, and a breakfast burrito that leaves you feeling comfortably full (and healthy). LOVE this place! I love the surfy vibe and the food is bomb. I'm really picky about my breakfast burritos. I like them loaded with stuff other than buttery potatoes and I also like putting refried beans in them and this place totally does that! I get just the OI breakfast burrito and it's the best in Laguna in my opinion! My only complaint is I don't like how they give you coffee in a paper cup with a plastic lid even if you're eating there. The lady at the window who has been mentioned several times should not be the person interfacing with customers. We were down in Laguna Beach in late May 2020, and this restaurant was a short walk away from our hotel. We stopped by on our first day and were hooked on the fresh food, great taste, and good customer service. I tried the Avocado sandwich on Sourdough bread, with thin slices of cucumber, tomato, and alfalfa sprouts, a spread and mustard. All the sandwiches come with a dill pickle, tortilla chips, and an orange wedge. This was such a naturally healthy lunch. My wife loved her Spinach omelet, as she sat quietly enjoying her lunch, as the waves crashed below us. The restaurant is allergy friendly, and they custom-made my son's hamburger. It was fresh and healthy, served as a lettuce wrap. We enjoyed eating at Orange Inn 3 times during our week-long trip. Also, I agree, they have the best coffee in town! The only negative was the time it took to make our meal on two occasions, but this was also during the Covid pandemic, so it's easy to overlook the delay, as I'm sure during normal days the restaurant is fully staff and ready to serve. read more

Since our group was literally staying down the block at Seven4One, we opted to just get our huge breakfast order to go. I ordered the steak breakfast burrito, which was filled with eggs, cheese, and potatoes. This was perfectly balanced and delicious. I really enjoyed it. They also provided some chips and salsa. The salsa was perfect with the burrito as well though it wasn't spicy. The staff was really friendly and were pleasant while we ordered. They were really patient and all smiles when we placed our large order granted there were 6 of us ordering food. The guy even brought our food out to us because all of us were waiting outside the front. He came out for each of us. Now that's great service. I stayed in the Holiday Inn across the street, so I came here for breakfast and/or coffee every morning. The coffee was great, and the food was good. The chocolate chip muffin was a little disappointing, as it wasn't very sweet. They must use more bitter chocolate than I'm used to. I also tried a breakfast burrito, which was pretty good, and came with chips and salsa. I liked the cute, homey feel to the place, but it gets pretty tight when there's more than a few people in there. The staff in the morning was pretty friendly- nothing fantastic, but it was a pleasurable enough experience. I'll be back to grab a bite and a coffee next time I'm in town! read more

Being from out of town, hands down we love Laguna Beach. This is a nice local spot with great people. The food was delicious and the interior is decorated nicely. The food was great and I cannot wait to come back to Laguna and try the different options. You walk in, place an order, have a seat anywhere and they'll bring the food to you.
