I no longer patronize this place. They have good food, but that isn't the focus of my review. What irks me about the owners is how seemingly friendly and welcoming they were for so many years, but when 2020 hit, they completely changed...especially Troy's wife. She actually became verbally abusive and irate towards me because I would "mask up" or accept her ideologies about the corona bullshit. I always calmly stood my ground, but she was continually in my face. I was also belittled by their employees and made to feel unwelcome. Now that they are vaxxed and boosted, and because the governor of Caifornia had restrictions lifted or removed, of course their tone has changed. Of course they are friendly again....once again welcoming and family oriented. But that's the problem. In the face of science and facts and empirical evidence coming to light regarding how ineffective and outright dangerous the vaccines really are, how they don't stop the spread of anything, and how they are causing heart attacks, strokes and clots, as well as a whole myriad of other side effects including the sudden deaths we are seeing in young people, athletes, famous people who were previously healthy....I demand a huge apology from the owners for abusing me verbally as well as emotionally. They were wrong and they know it. But their egos are too big to allow that. Not once did they even bother to apologize. It was like a switch went off, forgive and forget. Let's all forget about the abuse, and it's ok. You can just come back and buy our overpriced food Well honey, I would have, but your insolent condescending and appalling treatment of me is unforgivable, especially since you wrongly assume it's just all ok now and business as usual. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but decided that I have to stand fir something. I will never step foot in their restaurant/deli again. I deserve better and demand better treatment from my fellow man. read more

Our re location is finally here. Our first day was yesterday. It was supposed to be a quite soft opening but it was not. We were pleasantly surprised at the huge turnout. Thank you everybody. To the one pick up order that was a disaster, I apologize. I was in the process of loading you up with a variety of complimentary items when you walked out. Don't blame you but wish you had stuck around another 2 minutes for the multiple boxes I was preparing for you. Thank you everybody for your understanding and patience with the new Corona Virus procedures we must adhere to and the newness of operating in a new place with some new staff. Troy Orchard's will start closing on Monday's starting next week. The amount of pre orders, sporadic supply, new staff, exhausted staff, failure to keep everything stocked, need to do maintain maintenance makes this necessary. Thank you all for the huge turnout after being closed for over a month for our relocation. Operating under new rules for Covid, limited and expensive supplies has not been easy. I love Orchad's! I originally saw this place driving down Whittier Blvd. Yum, I could smell the BBQ and had to stop! On my first visit I had a Bacon Cheesburger with the works! It was amazing! I usually like to keep my reviews positive, but I felt compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. The tri-tip arrived cold, and they were out of macaroni and cheese, which was a big disappointment. To make matters worse, the sauces were all mixed up, making it hard to enjoy the meal the way it was intended. I like their outdoor seating. They have a great selection of organic meat. We bout filet mignon. The butcher trimmed it for us perfectly. You can pick your meat or poultry and they'll cook it on the spot with a choice of a side. We took ours home to bbq, but next time we'll stay and eat. It's rare to go to a butcher shop and find grass fed meat. I also love the food they have here. BBQ is well done and you know you are not eating meat filled with hormones and antibiotics. Next door they have an amazing nursery shop that you should check out as well. read more
