We had an excellent meal here. Good food, prompt and good service... and their salads are vegetarian approved! Nice job!

Oregano should be one of your go to places if you want some great Italian food. The ambience is very quaint. Play some old music have some really really cute decorations. The menu is very versatile. For starters you have your choice of many delicious cocktails to choose from and even mocktails. You can get pretty much anything you want from delicious pasta deep dish, pizza, and even salad, but I must recommend that you save room for dessert because the Pazooki is incredible. Well, the servers are super friendly and never hesitate to give great recommendations. If you want a great place to take the family or have a fun girls night this is the place to go.

Really liked it! Took a couple of buddies for lunch here, and everything was excellent. We got seated right away and our server had us some water soon after. We started with some Iced Teas and the Bistro Calamari - and it was the best calamari I've ever had; nice meaty pieces with some flavorful garlic breading. For lunch we had the Chicago Italian sausage & sweet potato fries. The sausage had a "bite" to it, but not so much you can't handle it. The sweet potato fries came with a nice pepper aioli that was delicious together. We also had a couple of the Big Beef Sandwiches and they were amazing. I finished mine, but they are big enough to easily split if you have smaller appetites. Our server was consistently following up with us and was bringing us tea refills without even asking. The service and food here was excellent and I'm definitely going back.

We always go in the between hours to Oregano's. They do a good business. The food and portions connect well with the price. I will say it is not the best Italian food however it keeps us coming back so maybe I need to check my standards. Wings here are big and we never have had a complaint with receiving a runt. Other places we go for wings have been hit or miss. Of course the price for these puppies are higher. You get some big wings. We've tried everything on the menu and haven't been disappointed. We are sad they took away the deep dish but it was an automatic 40 min wait. Get that pizza wrong and it's another 40 mins. I can see why they dropped it from their menu. Off happy hour Beer prices are reasonable.

Family was in the mood for pasta so we visited oreganos and overall, it was pretty good. The food came out hot and fresh, which was great, but the flavors were just okay...not the best I've had. The biggest downside was the wait for drink refills, which took longer than expected and then food coming out at different times (5 min apart). That said, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I'd consider going back, but there's room for improvement.

This place is amazing! All around great. The pasta was so delicious and was exactly what I was craving. The garlic bread was crunchy and perfectly baked. The service was also amazing we felt welcomed once we came inside. Will be back soon!

Burnt Pan Pizza

I live walking distance from here and I use to LOVE it. Favorite is the pan pizza. The last few times I have ordered the quality/experience is just not consistent. I always do an online order and when I come pick it up it's never ready when it should be. I understand things happen but every time? I'm usually waiting 10-15 mins past the pickup time. Sometimes they offer me a drink which is nice and I appreciate that. Today I decided to place the order 5 mins before it opened and waited an additional 10 mins after the pickup time. It wasn't ready lol. The worker was great and said it would just be a few more minutes. When I got home and opened it , the pizza was burnt. The crust, underneath..all burnt. Disappointed in the quality. Gotta find a new spot for good pizza.

Heckava Slice

Love the vibe of this place, nostalgic decor and big band / rat pat tunes playing. Tried the Heckava Slice from the Lunch Rush Menu, M-F 11-3. It's a huge slice of Chicago thin crust for only $5, $1 s topping. I added the in house made meatballs as my topping. Pizza was crispy and delicious! We had always gone to Oregano's for the Chicago Style Pan pizza, dare I say I might just prefer the thin crust pizza. Jessica was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Look forward to returning!

Italian Sub.

Why three stars. Some things are very good. Others are just ok or a pass. The lasagna is one of the very good. The Italian sub. Very good. Pizza can be hit or miss. Not my first choice. Atmosphere is casual. Service is usually pretty good.

Ask the Community - Oregano's

I know the name says Oregano's, but is the flavor of all their food overwhelmingly "oregano"? We hadn't been to an Oreganos in several years and went this past Saturday night, and the deep dish pizza we received was extra heavily seasoned.

Not in my experience. I have been to all locations except Tucson. I have never found the food to be overly seasoned with Oregano. I would advise that regardless of what restaurant you visit, if you don't like the food you order, ask them to remake… Read more

I really wish it were easier to find breakfast joints with organic coffee but it can be a bit difficult to find in certain areas, such as the east valley area. This was one of a couple options I could find. We attempted to dine here for dinner on a previous occasion but it was a long wait at that time so we went elsewhere. This time we showed up around 10:15am on a Saturday in June, and we were quoted 90 minutes for two people. Fortunately there was room at the bar, so we were seated immediately. The decor is very clean and subtlety higher end. It is an open floor plan with the bar towards the front door, which is also accessible from the large patio (in cooler weather times) that has mister fans and a lot of shade. They have one of the nicest and cleanest restrooms in the valley, with complementary sea salt scrub and high end paper napkins. They also have a couple luxurious event spaces, one of which was hosting an engagement party. My mom tried a non alcoholic drink special with decaffeinated tea and fresh juices, with a little flower on top. She also tried the avocado toast. She enjoyed both but she said the avocado toast was a little spicy, albeit she has an extremely low tolerance for spice. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and black coffee. The coffee came in a neat mug with an oversized handle that was very ergonomic. It was good, but slightly watery. Was at least comforting to know it wasn't laced with tons of pesticides like most restaurants' coffee. The egg, bacon and avocado sandwich was delicious. The egg and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the bread was nice and soft but not too dry. The greens on the side were fresh with a nice vinaigrette. The service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and seemed to be happy to be there. All in all I was impressed with this place. The only thing I wish they had on their brunch menu was an omelette, because this is first place I have been in a very long time that isn't a fine dining establishment, where they actually know how to cook eggs properly. They were fluffy, moist, and light. I don't bring this up as a brag, but I attended culinary school and learned proper scrambled egg (French style) technique years ago. This is the first place I've been in a long time that gives my eggs a run for their money.

Tried again on a Wednesday. We were able to place order immediately. It's worth it! Green Corner- It's Tucked away in a strip mall in Chandler, this Mediterranean restaurant is all it's hyped up to be. Customer service was excellent--friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The dining area was clean and well maintained, with spotless tables and restrooms, which always makes a great first impression. We ordered two chicken shawarma plates: one with fries and hummus, and the other with salad and rice. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the fries were crisp and well-spiced, and the hummus was smooth and delicious. We also tried the C1 combo Arabic style, which came with half chicken, half beef, and two sides. Both proteins were excellent, and the garlic sauce was a standout--we absolutely loved it. We couldn't help but notice many other customers enjoying salads, all of which looked fresh and generously topped with crisp vegetables. Portion sizes across the board were very good, leaving us satisfied with some to go. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back and can't wait to try more from the menu.

Everything looked soooo appetizing on the menu and since I was going to meal prep this week, the Al Sham Chicken Combo caught my eye. For $15, you get little cute pieces of chicken shawarma with 2 dips! I was in love with the red sauce and wish the garlic sauce was more garlic-y but it was good either way! The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

NOT WHAT YOU THINK…read more The Spitz moniker is derived from the rotating BBQ spit, middle-eastern style rotisserie used to slow cook their meats. The name of this restaurant isn't very becoming. But you will be coming regularly once you try this place. Mediterranean food has worked it's way as a staple across the country because of the use of numerous spices, it has an undeniable bold flavor that has become a favorite of the American diet. Here is no exception and lives up to the Mediterranean flavor profile expectations with an Americanized twist on the ingredients. I ordered on the app and found it quite user friendly, which encourages me to get food here more often with the ease of use and simple interface. You have to ability to add or omit ingredients from the menu items which makes for a very satisfying customized meal (and only have yourself to blame if it is a displeasing combination) BERLINER WRAP- meat and veg all in a flatbread wrap. There's a lot of ingredients packed in this thang, so for me, I had to use extra sauce to dip and coat it all in flavor. The problem with these wraps though, is that the paper it wrapped in was getting stuck to the bread and would have to constantly peel it off that thang and it was a mess, unless you just don't mind eating the paper for some extra fiber. MEDI BOWL- The bowl was felt healthy and hearty; an all-around good dish. The crunchy garbanzo beans were a nice element to contrast against the other textures in the bowl. Again, i liked it with more sauce, but that's just me. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and I want to try the other menu items in the future.

He then said we were in for a treat! I told him that's what we've been hearing. After looking over the menu, the wife and I ordered a Street Car Donor and Berliner wrap, baklava dessert, and soda. There was only one other couple in the restaurant . I noticed to go orders and DoorDash orders were being picked up while we were waiting for our orders. By the time we left, there was a line. It didn't take very long for our orders to be prepared. It was promptly delivered to our table. The first thing I noticed was the lack of meat in my Berliner. It didn't come close to the amount of meat I saw in several photos on Yelp. After I bit into my wrap, all I could taste were the vegetables. It took a few bites before I tasted just a hint of meat. This was very disappointing. I was meat hungry and I wanted something healthy with a good portion of meat. I wasn't getting it here. A total letdown! The first thing my wife commented on her Street Car donor was how dry it was. Where was the sauce? She had to ask for tzatziki sauce. I took a bite of hers and at least she had more meat than I had. She told me I could have her other half. She was impressed to say the least! Did we come on an off day? Was there someone new in the back? I suggest they weigh out the meat each and every time to keep it consistent. It was not the experience we were expecting! Did anyone experience something similar?

The location has a quaint, house-style feel with beautifully manicured grounds. The large doors were open, allowing a lovely breeze to flow through, a welcomed touch. There's also a convenient parking lot right next door, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options: outside patio, high-top outdoor seating, inside bar seating, and traditional indoor dining. We arrived in that sweet spot between lunch and happy hour, so the restaurant was quiet and relaxed, exactly how we like it. Drinks My Blue Hawaiian ($15) was absolutely amazing, it really hit the spot, and I was still feeling great when we left! My husband ordered the Pizza Port Chronic ($5) and said it was a nice, refreshing change of pace. Our Server Andrew Andrew greeted us immediately, walked us through both the food and drink menus, and was genuinely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was the highlight of our visit. Exceptional service. Appetizer Butter Board & Bread We started with the Butter Board ($14), served with toasted bread. The butter itself, whipped with ricotta, herbs, and what I believe was a honey drizzle, was absolutely delicious. My only note is that the bread edges were toasted a bit too dark for my taste, leaving a slightly burnt crust flavor and aroma. Entrées I ordered the Seared Scallops ($48), which were plated with white potatoes, purple potatoes (possibly ube), and sausage over a rich sauce. Unfortunately, the purple potatoes had a burnt taste that was off-putting, and I wasn't able to finish much of my meal. My husband, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed his Grilled Striped Bass ($48), beautifully plated and well-executed. Final Thoughts While my entree missed the mark this visit, Andrew's outstanding service and the overall ambience more than carried the experience. The space is gorgeous, the concept is lovely, and I can absolutely see returning when the seasonal menu refreshes. In my opinion, it's worth a second chance, we will be back.

I had the meatball ferris wheel which is literally a little ferris wheel with little bowls with a different kind of meatball in each. The Ferris wheel ended up just making it harder to eat, but I do think the novelty of it is cute. That said, I was super disappointed. I liked the steak meatball pretty well and the arabbiata was yummy, but the rest were mediocre for me. I love meatballs but, honestly, I've had meatballs that I like better elsewhere. My bread was also over-toasted, making it kind of like a hard crumbly rock. Our server was very nice and quite friendly, but both my husband and I noticed that she actually boxed the food at the two tables near us for those people, but for us, just just dropped off boxes and a bag at our table and left us to do it ourselves. I don't mind doing it myself, but what made us different from the other tables? All in all it was good. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked and sooo good and the Saganaki was also delish.
