They allowed us to stay a bit later as my girlfriend and I were enjoying our meals after the busy week and she was great at helping my girlfriend decide her meal. Very knowledgeable. Bollo Pasta was fair but had to eat with my hands since the incompetence restaurant didn't provide any utensils "Joe"-no last name since he refused to give to me was the very rude, incompetent "manager" on staff and "Katelyn " whose name was on the receipt also was incapable to resolve their incompetence when packing my food for delivery to my hotel two miles away. Food was fair at best, barely warm and NO UTENSILS to eat any of the inadequate food and ZERO concern or competentance from the staff when I immediately called to complain and ask if they could run over the missing utensils at the very minimum--they blamed door dash who all they did was to deliver the incomplete $86.00 order of food. I go to Oreganos in the east valley all the time and love it. I came to this location after driving all day from Moab. I was tired and starving and relieved to find a familiar place. Unfortunately I did not enjoy my meal or service. The white leaves of my side salad had pink discoloration which I know isn't harmful but it didn't look appetizing. I ate around it. My water had sharpie ink stains on the glass. My chicken wing drumsticks had extra skin? on them and looked unappetizing. I only ate my flats which I only had 3 of. I don't understand why the chef didn't trim the drumsticks. I had a male and female employee attending to me so I'm not 100% who my server really was. But regardless, I had to ask the male employee for water when he came to tell me why my Bellini hadn't been made yet, and the female employee only paid attention to me when I put my credit card on the table. She saw I had barely touched my wings and didn't ask me if anything was wrong OR ask me if I wanted a to go container. My total bill was $40 for one Bellini, a half eaten salad, and 3 edible chicken wings. Thankfully I don't come to Flagstaff much and I will definitely never come back to this Oreganos. read more

We chose this restaurant because it was across the way from our hotel and it had good reviews. The restaurant was spacious, had lots of booths and plenty of parking. The decor was very colorful and lively. We ordered the numero one-O pizza. It was really good and topped with vegetables and meat. We had enough to take home for leftovers. I got a free pizza cookie for my birthday. I chose half chocolate chip and half peanut butter. They both were good but I liked the chocolate chip better. The cookies are topped with ice cream. Our server, Kinna, was very friendly and helpful. I asked a question about the Grand Canyon and she wasn't sure so she asked her coworker for us. Her coworker came over and answered the question and gave us additional information. The manager, Krista was also pleasant and came over to talk to us after we ate. Everyone was so nice! First time trying oreganos because I heard such great things about this chain restaurant. Even though it was a busy Friday night our large family was able to sit down pretty quickly after getting on the waitlist (love when restaurants offer Yelp's waitlist!) I thought the food was good but not wow. I really liked the fried zucchini and so did my kids. I wish it was just Italian food and not some weird Mexican Italian fusion. Some items on the menu just seem super random and out of place. The pizza was very good and I love that they offer slices to kids. Our waitress was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Don't know that we'd go again but it was a nice experience. read more

From sandwiches to pizzas to kids meals and of course the baked cookie dessert is a must have you want to walk out of there with any respect. Sat at the bar to avoid the long wait. Waited 1:15 on a 45 min stuffed pizza and it came out cold. They replaced it 30 minutes later with a burnt thin crust (pic posted). Went here for the first time today and loved it! The second we walked in we were immediately greeted by Alex and we were sat right away. Turned out Alex was our server. He asked us if this was our first time there in which it was and without hesitation welcomed us and offered us drinks. He made some great recommendations from their menu. Upon his recommendations we ordered an appetizer and our entrees. We got our drinks instantly and our food came within perfect timing. Everything was amazing! Alex was very attention. Our drinks never went empty and he checked on us a couple times to make sure everything was good. We left with full tummies and brought home leftovers. The quality of food is detrimental for a restaurant, which Oreganos succeeded in, but good service is more important than anything else and Alex will be the reason we return! read more

Great food here...always. However be sure to calculate extra time for take out orders as the front of house staff is a bit overwhelmed. COVID isn't hurting this locations business, but the front of house direction of customers should be explained over the phone so there is less confusion upon arrival. Look for the large red signs directing take out customers to the left and dine in customers to the right. We ordered the Margherita pizza and Bollo Pasta with meatballs and a Caesar salad. That's what I'm talking about! I totally spaced giving this review in a timely manner and that's not fair. Why? Because I've forgotten the name's of the people I'm about to mention. We've gone to Oregano's for years. Back when they were in the old small locations. It's always been good and even great. Tonight there was a bit of a hiccup. I tried a new dish for me and was surprised to be disappointed. It was the bowl of pasta with meatless sauce. Just kidding but really the meat sauce was nearly meatless. I was initially very disappointed. When the server checked on us she could see the uneaten entree in front of me and the look on my face so she immediately asked what was wrong. I told her and she said "oh, I think I see some meat in there" I was just about to snap back at her and she said "but you're right, let me get you some more", Phew, ok. She returned with a small ramekin of sauce that had little more meat than the original. Darn, ok. But she comes right back, see's the situation and offers to get me something else. By now I'm disappointed, cranky and my wife has been feeding me bites from her food so I pass. Minutes later a manager appears and couldn't have been nicer. Apologizing, offering a fast alternative meal choice if I wanted and her concern was honest, not the usual mindless auto response. She even admitted that they've had more than one complaint for the same reason. I declined and she immediately said she would be taking the meal off the bill. And frankly just like she should have. So why the five stars? Well at the end I actually left fine. While it was a far from perfect experience in the end we'll still be coming back and after all the good meals why not? They did what they were supposed to do but they did it well and with what I feel was sincerity. So often today sincerity is what's missing. read more

I think in all these years I have been to an Oregano's like 3 times. Then when they opened this in Flagstaff (we visit Flag at least once a year) we kind of refused to try it. This year we found ourselves waiting nearby for our hotel room to be ready and decided to stop by here for a drink and maybe an appetizer. Oh my. I found the Sausage Link/Meatball option in the menu and we decided to try them. The order is 2 pieces so we asked if we could try one of each. The meatball was OK but the sausage was delicious (I try to limit my carb intake). So, we went back the day after, and again one more time after that. 3 times! just for the sausage appetizer. The following times we asked for just sausages with extra cheese (no charge for the extra cheese). First day our server was TJ and she was super friendly and welcoming. Second and third time our server was Jason and he was great as well. When we went there on a Saturday I happened to get my name on the wait list through the Yelp app and that worked out great. As we arrived our table was ready, and I saw a couple just leave because the wait time at that moment was about 30 minutes. Very clean, adhering to COVID guidelines. Kira is our wait person, she is very pleasant and thorough. She is also very funny and knowledgeable. We had the Calamari and Deep Fried Zucchini. I ordered a combo pizza, zucchini sticks and fried calamari. The best I can say is that the sauce you dip the calamari into was good. Everything else was a huge disappointment. It all LOOKED great.
