So, in general I am not an Oregano's fan, HOWEVER, for this location specificially I wanted to say THANK YOU. We were a HUGE group doing a fallen officer memorial ride on Saturday and this establishment was where all 3 groups met up to continue onto the Harley Davidson dealer in Bellemont. The employees at this Oregano's who served us were incredible. They didn't charge for soft drinks for us and even brought out small pizza samples as snacks at no charge. The gentleman out front who was greeting us was welcoming, kind, respectful, and the lovely ladies in the bar area who were serving us non alcoholic drinks were just as kind. I cannot speak for others in our group, but myself, my husband and my son appreciated you all more than you could possibly know. Thank you so much again, I would eat at your establishment the next time we're in Flagstaff just to support good people. read more

Nice girls on the phone. At pick up they said "fill out" the receipt. Insinuating a tip for pick up. There were no tvs to watch the most important game of the day. The pizza was not that good. Middle america, a lot of yellow cheese, type of pizza. Antipasto Ok. Should have got the house to get more vegi to contrast with pizza. Keep in mind i was tired and just drove 350 miles. When its a joint with a food that is simple I have little patience if its not done right especially in a place where there is plenty of business. They should move out of the 80s. This is probably the most fun atmosphere I have ever been in. The food is absolutely delicious and I come in with a warm welcome from two people; Maren and Jordan I believe was their names. I wanted to get to go food and they had it ready for me in about 15 minutes. Not a long wait for some delicious Diablo Shrimp and a pizza cookie. Fast and great service. OK, we are in the process of escaping the culinary purgatory that was the entire state of California. On our exodus, we stayed in Flagstaff. As luck would have it, our hotel was walking distance from Oregano's. Very good luck, as it turns out. The food was FANTASTIC!! We have not had anything like it since we moved to California. The right spice, the right cook on the pasta, righteous food! My wife had the Diablo chicken. Stupid good! Usually comes with shrimp, which I can only imagine! I had the Mama'a sausage and peppers, which brings us to portion size. I'm a big guy. I like to eat. I could NOT get all the way through it! Be real hungry, or prepare to take some home! Price? Awesome! Two apps, two drinks (Bellini and Long Island, both stellar), three entrees and a pizza. (Four of us) $85! Really?? We would routinely spend more than that for lunch at a "kitschy" second-rate, barf palace in the land sanity forgot. (Read some of my other reviews!) If you are in Flagstaff, eat here. We were told we could be seated 30 minutes after we arrived (after being on the Yelp waiting list for about 45 minutes) after 30 minutes we came back a& the host said it might be another hour. Food was fantastic! I have one thing that really lowered the score and it's BIG! I watched an employee use the bathroom and then not wash his hands. That is absolutely gross! For this reason alone, I will not return here again and still not order food from here again. What terrible food !! I can't believe this place gets 4+ stars. Soggy salads that have been soaked in dressing and kept in the refrigerator. A pesto pizza that's nothing more than cheese oozing over under cooked pizza doe. An average frozen pizza from a grocery store is better. My brother who's lived in Flagstaff for 40 years was right when he said there's no decent restaurants in that town. That explains how a place like this Oregano's gets such high ratings. This Oregano's just opened up and the people were so nice! As soon as we walked into the door everyone welcomed us in and also when we left they all said an enthusiatic good night. I am a regular to this Oreganos and went to the other location quite often. However today it was not so good. The wait was so long. A large party was ahead of mine and they were 15 minutes late to their reservation as I heard the hostess mention, however they kept that table open. After waiting about 45 mins I was told it was going to be another 10 mins. Originally it was a a 30-40 min wait. I needed up leaving. So sad! read more

I've always been a fan of Oreganos for the great pizza! The service has its ups and downs but I recently visited this location with a few friends on a busy evening and had the most incredible service! We were sat in a timely matter and greeted by Natasha our server who was so amazing, even with a busy dining room. She was so friendly and attentive, the food was great as always but I will definitely be coming back to this specific location because of the great costumer service we received from natasha, made the dining experience a 10/10, thanks again! read more

We used to love Oregano's. However, we went there last night and had a barbecue chicken pizza which was horrible. It tasted like a very heavy cheese pizza with a little chicken garnish. We absolutely could not taste the chicken or barbecue and the cheese was too heavy and strong. Worst barbecue chicken pizza we have ever had. read more

Worst Customer Service I've experienced in Flag in a long time. I called in a take out order, a cheese pizza. I show up 30min later and they gave me a thin Crust cheese pizza. Wow! Didn't even know they sold "thin crust". I then ask the Queen Counter Troll: "What do I need to say next time to get a non-thin-crust cheese pizza? ...Mr Queen of the Pizza Parlor then starts to argue with me telling me that I need to order Deep Dish!!! Wow! Okay miss snotty attitude. Didn't know you had that option. Can we get this fixed? Drama!!! Hello! I'm your customer. I don't care about your attitude or the lies you told your manager re what I did or didn't say on the phone....btw I never said once that I wanted thin crust... I just want my order corrected. An hour after I first called...I did get my correct order, drama offered as a free side dish by both the counter troll and his defensive manager. My god people! This is a cool little locally owned(Arizona) chain of restaurants that serves excellent quality noveau Italian....noveau mentioned as their Alfredo shrimp has chipotle pepper spicing. The food was excellently prepared and presented and very tasty. Had the Lasagna and this is not the usual bulk recipe. My wife had the delicious Mac and Cheese. Now we try and limit carbs to some extent as they are a recipe for a metabolic crash and early to bed kind of night, but the 3 Cheese garlic bread was really good. The entire place was nice and clean, the servers very professional and accommodating. Nowadays with the "reset" economy(whatever the hell that is)and paying people to stay home, these mid entry level jobs are going unfilled, so what help a business may get is often unprofessional or overworked and their attitudes too often reveal that. Not here, so the management must be doing something correctly as everyone here seemed pretty happy to be working and helping folks with their dinner. We will be frequent patrons. read more

My family and I frequent the 1061 S. South Plaza Way location almost weekly. We have noticed the past few times that the food takes a very long time. Last night we ordered pasta for one adult, kids ravioli, large cheese pizza and kids chicken strips. It took over 30 minutes before our food arrived. We arrived at 5:05 and there were only four other tables. I asked to speak with the manager Dave and he said that pasta dishes take a while....seems to me that took more than a while. I am disappointed that Dave didn't say he was sorry it took so long. He said let me look into it and we never saw him again (even after we ordered desert). The week before we ordered Caesar salad w/chicken, kids chicken strips, large cheese pizza and kids pasta. It took over 30 minutes and for some reason the table behind us (that came in 10 minutes after us) was served their pasta dishes before our order arrived. I love the food here, my favorite time to come is for the lunch special, I get the BIG SLICES with green olives and garlic with the house salad and the chipotle ranch dressing. The passion tea is the best tea I've had in flagstaff, the servers are very friendly and helpful. I've only had one issue at the restaurant but the manager came out a fixed it immediately! The food was delish, of course. The service was awful. Lunchtime yes, but it wasn't that busy and our order took forever. The waitress kept calling everyone at the table "sugar bear" which came across as fake friendly and after awhile was just obnoxious. There are no low tables for elderly or handicap seating. Only booths and high tops. Limits certain customers. We were told that there were tables on the patio but it was pouring down rain the day we were there. Everyone's food was delicious. The lunch mini deep dish pizza was awesome! And NOT mini. Took half home. Birthday girl was given a free ice cream cookie dessert that was big enough for all of us at the table. read more

My friends and I went last night. Iv gone plenty of times and had a good experience each time, the foods always great. Last night I went and we arrived around 8-830 I don't really remember, I do know we left exactly at 930 pm (I looked specifically at my watch as I felt as we were an annoyance to have there). We had ordered food and once it arrived I asked our waitress if I could add a Togo order of the lady is a scampi to take home to my husband and she said yea no problem. We were seated literally right by the kitchen and there was a little glass planes missing so we could hear everything going on back there. Our waitress goes in the back and asks to add to our order, I'm assuming the cook starts complaining pretty loudly about having to make it, he mentioned something about the fact that he only makes .96 cents on the hour. Our waitress started making it seem like "yeaaa I know ugh"... so we left with a pretty sour taste in our mouth. If the employees working wanted to close or not have our business there, they could have said that and we would have happily left from the beginning. Love the new building although the waiting/front area was jam packed because guests couldn't use the nice front patio area due to snow and cold weather. Once we were seated at the bar, the entire experience was outstanding. Food was delicious and plentiful as always and the Oregano's Team and guests all seemed to be having a great time. Most of all - Pookie, the bartender, was amazing. Lively, engaging, knowledgeable and fun. He made what would have been a great visit turn into a fantastic one. We have been long-time fans of Oregano's. However, over the past year things have changed. The food doesn't taste the same and they eliminated my favorite items from the menu (Brussels sprouts and the Veggie Wedgie Sandwich). We got takeout on Friday night that the entire household felt tasted just okay (Pablo Picasso salad, lasagna, and a sandwich). My husband actually found a piece of metal in his lasagna! Sadly, we agreed that this was most likely our last time at Oregano's in Flagstaff due to the decline in quality. read more

We called and they said they could accommodate, when we get there he waitress giggles as she said, "well, we'll try but I can't guarantee anything, you know foods just flying around back there!" We asked for manager and he responded almost he same way! We had to ask I'm to read food labels and t seemed like a hassle- needless to say we left! Don't need anaphylactic shock from nuts in other foods! Oreganos- you might want toes h your staff how to be compassionate to people with food allergies- if you can't accommodate, show compassion and apologize! What a disaster at this Oregano's on Saturday night. Ordered food to go for the family who was waiting in a hotel. They said it would be 35 minutes. Turns out, it's closer to 2 hours for many people waiting. One woman waited 2 hours, finally got her pizzas and now she's been waiting for 35 minutes for the rest of her order. And the 6 foot social distancing was impossible or even 3 feet because there are so many people waiting to get their food they had to keep coming in to ask if it's ready on top of all the people coming in who weren't aware the kitchen has fallen apart. I felt super bad for the young woman named Kimberly answering the phone and trying to keep it all from spiraling out of control. She was incredible for her age. She was incredible at any age. After an 1 1/2 , I stopped looking at my watch. But I then started to tune in to the kitchen (which is visible through an opening) where one worker wasn't wearing a mask, one wore it to hold up his chin and one had one on. They all looked exhausted. Even a guy standing on the opposite side of the kitchen counter organizing a bunch of empty boxes didn't wear a mask. It was almost as if management called in sick, was downsized or is new and has no idea how to operate a restaurant; especially during a Pandemic. Sadly for the entire time I stood there no manager ever came out to apologize to anyone or even offer a free cookie or reduction in price. Came here based on reading the reviews. Called ahead and was seated immediately. Drinks were prompt. Garlic bread was tasty. Hence the two stars. It fell apart after that. We ordered our pizzas and our server told us "it's going to be 35-40 minutes for pizzas, we have a take out pizza special going on, is that okay?" We would have liked to have known in advance, but okay we came for the pizza, so we ordered bread and waited. The first pizza that came out, after waiting for 40 minutes, was the absolute wrong pizza--not remotely close to our order. She checked it and says "oh, the kitchen made it wrong but I entered it correctly. Can I get one made to go or have kids slices made for them?" Fine. Whatever. I'd have assumed they'd immediately take the wrong one away and make a new one immediately. In the end the manager had one remade promptly, but our waitress did very little to smooth over the situation. Then they brought our second pizza. We ordered a 14" deep dish when we ordered, but when it comes it is clearly a thin crust. We ask about this and she says "deep dish only come in 12" not 14"". Would have been nice to have her clarify that when we ordered, as we would have been happy with a 12". All in all a pretty disappointing dinner. Won't go back. Should have just taken out from the other place in town we've been to before. read more
