I have been coming to Oreganos for at least 15 years and I have never had a worse experience. Usually our food and service is excellent, however tonight service was horrible. Our waiter only took our order and came back to give us our check. We had to ask another server for refills on water and go to the host for napkins. We dont typically complain but we also had to send our wings back because they looked like they had been sitting out for quite some time...our family has always loved this place. Hope the lack of service and food quality isn't a result of them becoming a chain. read more

Not the best experience here. I have to wonder if they were short staffed...We went on a Monday evening. We waited about 3 minutes before a host showed up to take our names. I was just about ready to walk out when someone arrived at the front, despite a few employees rushing past. The host informed us they just had to clean a table and we'd be seated. The waitress was friendly, so she gets the 2 stars...2 because we had food delivered and then had to wait another few minutes for her to return so we could tell her we had no dinnerware, and in general slowwwww service. Like I said, they had to be short staffed or something. They were out of lasagna (on a Monday evening), so I ordered the baked pesto penne. Save your money. We stopped here on the way home after a very long morning and were starving! I was told the pasta i usually get wasn't on the menu anymore so i tried something the waitress recommended. And of course i didn't like it. I asked to get something else because i couldn't eat what i had ordered so i got the ziti about 15 minutes later. By this time my boyfriend was done eating and we were ready to head home so i asked for a to go box. I don't know if i was being too needy or something but my waitress gave me a pizza box for the baked ziti i hadn't even touched. I thought this was weird but didn't want to be bothersome so i just paid and left. We are travelling from the Chicago land area and wanted some pizza. We arrived at 6 on a Saturday and waited 30 minutes for a table of 2. While waiting we were offered a small sample of pepperoni thin crust pizza. Not good which should have been a clue. We ordered deep dish pizza and were told 40 minutes which seemed ok. After 40 minutes waitress told us it was only 5-7 minutes more. 20 minutes later we asked again. Manager came out with pizza and argued it was only 7 or 8 minutes late. We found out why it was late as crust was burnt. We could not eat a piece and asked for manager again. His take was that the black underside was a bit overdone. After agreeing to take it off the bill he offered a free dessert. We agreed but should have left as it took another 10 minutes to get it. Wasted 2 hours for this bad meal read more

The atmosphere is fun and our waiter took the time out of his day to ask how we were and what we were doing in the area. I got the stuffed riga tony and it was to die for. Ordered a small cheese pizza on Friday 1/21/22. Only ordered cheese since they want almost $11 for 4 veggie toppings (thank God I didn't). Placed my order for pick up and after 50min. I opened the box only to discover that it looked like several bites were taken out of my pizza. I asked why it looks like that and got a half assed "apology". After making it clear that that apology and pizza was unacceptable, she offered to remake it with a 30 minute wait... I declined and she offered a "kids" pizza that would take 7 minutes. I accepted and what I got was a big slice of pizza instead. Now is where the problem is. THE PIZZA TASTED LIKE VOMIT AND SMELLED LIKE IT TOO. That includes the "kids pizza". I will never spend another penny on oreganos food. It's a shame since I'm from Chicago and it's the only place that offers Chicago thin crust. I am speechless about our experience. We were quoted 30 minutes and after an hour and 5 minutes we were seated. The food we got was not what we ordered, but we were starving by this point. I will say, our waitress was wonderful. However, the real kicker is as we were walking out we heard the hostess say OUT LOUD as we were leaving, "those people said they waited over an hour but it was only like 45 minutes" in a really snotty voice!!! You can't go wrong at Oreganos. Everything on the menu is excellent! I love the new location. The old location was really choppy and small. I usually sit in the bar area and one of the bartenders in particular, Savannah, is fantastic. This will continue to be one of my "go to" places. read more

I travel often and use Uber Eats and Door Dash frequently. Received the wrong order. Actually received two meals, neither of which I ordered. So, got two for one. They were about 3.5 on taste. BUT, my pet peeve is no utensils/napkins. You're getting a 2 at best if you can't send me plastic utensils. It literally drives me insane. Why is this so difficult. I've been eating at Oregano's locations since I moved to Arizona 4 years ago and have never been extremely disappointed until now. I usually get the mom's mac and cheese as my pasta fix and a salad or a side. I was having a craving so nothing else would do, but what a bummer!! The mac was completely DRY. I dont know if it was overcooked or what, but even the flavor was different. It was like they put a tiny bit of marinara (on the bottom of the dish) with a bunch of parmesan on top and that was it. I stick to what I like so I know what this is supposed to, or at least, what it usually tastes like. I had to throw it out, which is not something I have ever done, it just really didnt taste good. :( read more

We ordered drinks and two appetizers, one thin crust pizza. Server Dave was excellent and helped out in the bar area as well. Our appetizers were superior to the pizza. The dry rub wings with the sweet potatoes were amazing. The cheesy bread didn't disappoint either. The pizza was just ok I had the white classic with tomatoes and onions, and basil. In my opinion there was too many tomatoes and made the pizza somewhat soggy. Didn't ruin the evening for us. But I highly recommend selecting the wings and appetizers read more

This place advertises itself as Chicago Style Deep Dish pizza. While it is not as good as the real thing, the pizza was very good and deep dish. Service was very good and wait time for the pizza reasonable. We were very pleased after a long day hiking. We shared a salad for two but it could clearly feed four. My only complaint is the decor is way too much, trying too hard. However, you can not go wrong with the pizza and the price. Definitely would recommend. read more
