Are usually order takeout from oregano's, deep dish pizza is the best part about it. Takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes to get here deep dish pizza but well worth it. Can definitely feed up to four people easily with leftovers. Service is always great, fast, and the price is fantastic for what you get. read more

We have had lunch at this Oregano's several times and been pleased. NOT TODAY! As we have ordered the same lunch special "A Helluva Slice and a Salad" for $10.29 many times in the past, at this Oregano's and also in Phoenix, we knew what to expect. That is NOT what we got today! We ordered the pizza with sausage and mushrooms, as usual. We got a cooked cheese pizza with barely warm sausage and RAW mushrooms on top. No cheese on top. Pizza barely warm although edges of crust were burned. I don't know if they have a new cooking staff member or what caused this but it was WAY, WAY below average and VERY FAR BELOW the Oregano's food we have always enjoyed, in Flagstaff, Phoenix, Gilbert. Not all reviews are posted on this place. I don't understand how patrons wud see the full picture if posts are sifted thru upfront by Yelp. Oregano's in flagstaff at I-40 interchange has some serious issues at all levels of its daily operations. We were told to share a napkin, we weren't given plates, given the wrong bill, salad appeared thawed, long waits, etc. The only hope I surmised for this place is new management. read more

My family and I have been coming to oregano's for years and out last visit was quite underwhelming. The quality of the food had diminished sadly to say. We stopped in for dinner and they weren't taking pizza orders!!! Crazy their advertising stated your friendly neighborhood pizza joint with no pizza!!! Anyway ordered the old reliable bollopasta. Oreganos never disappoints! I love their pastas, salad, wings and calamari appetizer! The portions are big, so it's definitely enough to share. It does get busy, but I've never had to wait more than 15-20 mins for a table. On birthdays they give you a free pizookie of your choice! We likely over ordered, in an attempt to try a variety of entrées on this, our first, visit. We had this place recommended to us by our friends, who lived in Flagstaff for several years. For appetizers, we ordered: Boom Dip, Bistro Calamari, and Kick Butt Garlic Bread w/Cheese. All of these were really good. The Calamari was cooked perfectly. For main dishes, we were served the Stuffed Riga Tony, a Ravioli Special, the Pablo Picasso Mexico Salad, the Clark Street Meat Pizza, and the Aunt Margherita Pizza. All of these were very different flavors, and all of them hit the mark great. We had 11 of us, by the way, and we took a lot with us as left overs! The portions are very hearty. I always love Oregano's! Big portions, great food, and good service! My boyfriend and I were driving up to Flagstaff last night to arrive around 8:30. We left without eating dinner, so we knew we would be starving on arrival! We called ahead to Oregano's for a big takeout order and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Our order was ready right when we arrived. He even went through everything we ordered to make sure it was correct. The food at Oregano's is always good! We ordered the Pablo Picasso salad, chicken Parm pasta, BBQ chicken pizza, and a chocolate chip pizookie! Lots of food for two people, so we had lots of leftovers. Every item was packed well. The salad was packed separately from the chicken (which was warm) and the dressing so the lettuce and tortilla strips wouldn't get soggy. This salad is one of my favorites because it's so flavorful with the two types of cheese and sautéed onions and chicken. The BBQ chicken pizza is also delicious with a mix of cheese, the savory BBQ sauce, red onions, and chicken. I also love that the thin crust does not get soggy. While ours was slightly burnt, my boyfriend loved those parts because he loves how crispy they are. We were incredibly shocked to have two pieces of chicken parm in the container. My one critique of this dish is that I would appreciate more sauce for the pasta. The pizookie was amazing. The chocolate chip cookie was warm and gooey and the vanilla ice cream was packed separately. If you're looking for a delish appetizer then easily go for the huge guacatony or their fried zucchini. You won't be sorry! Here on vacation and stopped in for some pizza and beer. Cute little spot and they did an excellent job social distancing their patrons. They sat each customer every other table and I watched the hostess clean the table and seats before seating us, which made me feel comfortable dining in. My favorite Oreganos of all time. My boyfriend and I probably eat dinner here at least once a week, and we're broke college students, so that should say something. The service is always great. We have loved every one of our waiters that we have gotten when we go for dinner. I always order the stuffed rigatoni and my boyfriend the Pinetop ravioli. Both are excellent dishes. And then to finish off, the peanut butter pazookie. Highly recommend! So yummy. Keep in mind that I am writing this review based on my experience at going to DINNER here. We went for lunch once and it wasn't as great of an experience. Our waiter probably only stopped at our table once after the food was out, so we had to keep asking other people for water refills, etc.. Overall, though, we thoroughly enjoy this place. Came here for lunch after some snow play with the kids. Obviously we have all heard of "Oregano's" and we come because of its reputation from other city's we lived in. We decided to go with the hot wings (which were so good) their sauce was amazing and it had the right spice to it and the 18" thin crust pepperoni pizza (which I do not recommend) not a good pizza at all. The pepperoni was very little and almost couldn't see it or taste it, I ask for extra sauce and there was no extra sauce and I ask for light cheese and there was more cheese than I have even had on a pizza. Customer service was decent and the cleanliness of the restaurant was also decent. Wait staff were attentive and informative about some of the menu items. Good stuff! I'm not a pizza person, I eat pizza once or twice a year but today felt like pizza and the Oregano's looked sooo delicious. And guess what? It tasted just as delicious as it looked. I got the Lawrence's original and the side o' bistro sweet po's. Little ol' me eat 1/2 of the 14" thin crust in one sitting. And a few sweet po's 'cause there was no more space. My family and I were passing through Flagstaff. This restaurant was close to the hotel we stayed at. We used their online portal to order our food which was ready at the time they stated in the confirmation. All hot food items were hot and salad was cold like it should be. They give very good portion sizes,which can be sharable and for the five of us, we were able to get full and had some left over of the entrees. We ended up getting two kid's slices of pizza, The Coop De Ville Jumbo Chick Parmesan, a house salad and Hakuna Puccata ( i like the name). Food tasted great. My best friend lives in Flagstaff, and a trip to Oregano's is obligatory every time I visit. Unfortunately, my go-to dish was removed from the menu since the last time I was there. On this latest visit, I conveyed my disappointment and asked the waitress if it was at all possible to still make my favorite meal. I was in luck! The chef who was on staff that night has been with Oregano's for years and knows the recipe by heart. My evening and trip to Flagstaff were made. 2.5 stars. As a local, Oregano's (Westside restaurant) has been our go-to restaurant for years. The last few years have been a mixed bag with both dining in and take-out meals. Pizza is always pretty good, as is the Mac n cheese. The Picasso salad used to be my favorite, but lately the chicken has been very dry and just doesn't have the same quality taste it used to have. The same for the Big Beef sandwich. It has 1/2 pound of shaved ribeye that used to be delicious, but has become horribly salty and fatty tasting. I can only think that they have changed food distributors. That is the only reason I can surmise for their poor food quality in the past several months. Any of the breaded chicken dishes now taste like rubber chicken. Definitely not freshly made anymore, but so obviously reheated, whether it's the Chicken Parmesan or Hakuna Piccata. This criticism comes from comparing the same dishes (ordered more than once, both take out and sit in) now to what they tasted like just a few years ago. When the Hakuna Piccata was first on the menu for a limited time, it was delicious. The breaded chicken was so obviously freshly cooked, crisp, hot and tasty. Not anymore. As I stated above, it now tastes like reheated rubbery chicken. Even the cheese on top is a cold, congealed mess. The last time we ate in the restaurant, because they were as short staffed as many restaurants are nowadays, we had to wait over 25 minutes for our meals, only for them to bring me the wrong sandwich. I didn't want to wait another 25 minutes for them to make me another sandwich so I said I would just take what they had brought. Luckily the sandwiches are usually good as long as you don't order any of the breaded, chicken ones, or the Big Beef. I can't recommend most dishes that are served hot anymore, unless you order the pizza. By the time any of the food makes it to the table it's lukewarm now, even cold sometimes. That includes the Cheese Chomps. Last time I actually sent them back to the kitchen because they were completely cold when they were served to us. The sad thing is my family that lives in other states keep sending my family here in Flagstaff gift cards to Oregano's for Christmas and birthdays because they know how much we used to love it, as did they when they would come to visit. That's the only reason we keep coming back, hoping things will improve, only to be disappointed again and again. Now I have another $400 in gift cards from Christmas to use up. After my take out disappointment tonight, I have finally had enough and will have to finally ask them to get me gift cards to other restaurants in the future. Since there are so few things we would bother to order on the menu anymore, those gift cards are going to last a long time. Maybe it's just this particular branch that has gone downhill in quality. Even though it's much further away, I'm going to try the Oregano's on the East side next time. Maybe I'll luck out and be pleasantly surprised. I can only hope since I've got $400 worth of chances for improvement before I give up totally on the local Oregano's. read more
