My wife and I seldom select pizza for a meal out, but today we decided to try the thin crust at Oregano's. We picked the Clark Street as it supposedly has three meats on it. To our disappointment the pizza arrived overdone with barely any sauce on it. The meat was hard to find as it must have burned up in the oven. The crust was dry and crunchy so thank goodness for the glass of water our waitress (Angelica) had brought us. She, by the way, was wonderful. We don't like to complain to the wait staff about food as we're elderly and I don't want them to think we're trying to dodge paying for food. On the other hand, food should be edible and $25 for a 14" pizza was a rip off today. IF we go back to Oregano's, it won't be to have pizza. read more

My family and I surprised my sister for her 60th birthday party. We had approximately 40 people to feed. We chose oregano's in Goodyear from a referral. We were very impressed and satisfied with the service and food. I wanna thank the manager and the employees for doing such a great job on our order. We had multiple dishes, including pastas, salads, and breads. Everything was delicious and turned out perfect. They made sure we had enough condiments on the side and silverware. Service was very slow, our appetizer salad took a long time to come out. We didn't get refills on our drinks. A few of us were sharing entrees and we had to wait for extra plates. My son and I are gluten free and we love to come here for pasta but this time it tasted like cardboard. We never got refills. We waited forever for my daughters birthday dessert and then the check. Something was way off today, everything was gross, ordered the usual wings, pasta and salad. The wings were small and not jumbo as usually served. The pasta sauce tasted like balsamic dressing and the salad had one tomato and two pieces of cucumber. Don't order for delivery, you'll be disappointed. My first time here the service was great Emma our service was super nice and on top of it.. for the food took a little long but not to bad as the conversation was great.. we had pizza thin crust the topping pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, sun-dried tomato. We went to Oregano"s on Friday evening. They used to be my favorite pizza place in Arizona. We used to have all the family birthday parties there for the last 16 years. We used to travel all the way over to 16th Street and Camelback Road. Something changed. They keep bringing out uncooked Pizza the last 3 times we went there. We specifically asked this time to crisp it up. The waitress brought the Pizza and the cheese was still white on top. My wife said it didn't look cooked. She said that she actually put it back in for a few minutes before she brought it out. We took the pizza and it was not cooked and doughy. Last time we go to Oregano's. read more

Oregano's is one of my favorite places to eat in Phoenix. It's kind of a family affair since our daughter worked here for a number of years and was one of the trainers who trained the new staff who opened the Sedona location. The s restaurants are always decorated uniquely and in a very fun manner. The food is Italian themed (but I don't think anyone in Italy would claim it ). Large portions, reasonable prices, typically very good service. We met some friends at the Goodyear location for dinner tonight. Two of our friends had the Bollo pasta which is an all you can eat bowl of pasta. When you request a refill, they serve you another bowl of the same size. My wife and I split the Picasso salad which was very good. I had the Diablo shrimp pasta, which was outstanding. Our server was new to the restaurant, but he was excellent. He did a great job. The only issue we had was when our friends ordered two refills for each of their Bollo pastas. The wife also asked for a to go box. That's when the person our friends nicknamed "Mr Grumpy " appeared. He is a manager in training and informed my friend's wife that she couldn't have a refill and a to go box. She asked for the refill. Mr Grumpy, not the waiter, brought out a small bowl of pasta with marinara sauce, not the Bollo sized bowl which she was supposed to receive with an attitude which said "here you go b****". Her husband never received the refill he ordered. They decided not to make an issue of it. I've eaten at a number of Oregano's and have even taken part of a refill Bollo home without issue. Net net, this manager's behavior is the exception, not the rule at Oregano's. read more

The noise level was over the top making the experience uncontrollable. Additionally the service was bad, we were not happy, we will not revisit this location. Additionally they changed the pizza topping to what looks to be skittered appearance not appealing and coverage was spotty. Sad it has changed for not the better. read more

Had been a while since we last came to oregano's and craved some good pasta. We check in through yelp for a shorter wait because there is always a wait so make sure to check in before hand to wait less of a time. Our serve was nice and friendly. Attentive to our toddler which is always nice. We ordered the garlic bread with cheese as an appetizer and it's always delicious. I ordered their pasta Alfredo in the dark and my pasta was overcook. It was too mushy. The portion size and presentation was good. My husband had pasta as well he like his and we ordered ravioli from the kids menu for our toddler that he enjoyed. The bartender looked at me as I was trying to clean the dirt of and asked what I wanted. I said a table. The server started out OK, and then I never saw him again. Disappointing. My wife and I used to go to the one in Gilbert and were excited to have one in Goodyear. The service was friendly but the food was bad. My wife was craving a meatball so we stopped in for lunch. It wasn't super busy. The meatball came out cool and it looked gray, like really old. I asked the staff if it was made fresh and she said no, they are usually made days in advance. Well this one must have been over two weeks easy. Just terrible. We won't be back ever. We came here to meet family who loves this place. I thought the food was good. The atmosphere is casual and fun. I had the guacamole pizza appetizer and fried cheese. It was very heavy albeit tasty. My friend got the macaroni and cheese appetizer and she said it was too spicy, The hubby loved his spicy shrimp pasta. The salad looked great. We are big fans of Oregano's but felt this location fell a bit short on their customer service. We stopped in and placed our order and it took almost a hour for our food to come out (three basic pasta dishes) and when our food finally arrived my sons pasta dish had a hair in it. We let the server know and she said she would have it remade. Literally less than 5 minutes later she was back with a "fresh" dish. We all suspected the dish was just re-plated and brought back out since they were able to remake the dish that quickly, seeing that our initial order took so long and also some of the chicken had Alfredo sauce smeared on top of it when normally the chicken is added on top last. I don't believe our server notified a manager about the dish since no manager ever came out to apologize or ask how the new dish was. Disappointing to say the least. read more

Don't patronize this location if you expect good service or tasty food. We were seated quickly but waited 10 mins before being acknowledged again. (Party of 4) We finally ordered, and our salad came with a large piece of plastic mixed in, Our server was apologetic and offered a free desert. Our food came before our replacement salad and was just above a microwave pizza relative to quality/taste. We ordered the "Ono pizza." We ate about 1 slice each and, after a while, asked for a to-go box, I informed our waitress we would take her up on the free desert, and we then waited another 15-20 minutes, nothing. So I tracked down a waitress and asked if we could please have our check. She went and found our waitress who said, "Sorry for the hold up, but they had to remake the desert," and it would be right out. I paid our bill, and we waited another 10 mins and finally just left. Very disappointed, large staff, but they don't seek to work together, instead isolated it seems not looking to help if it's not their table Our waitress only came to check on us once after we were served.
