Scrumptious meal as always from an Oregano's Restaurant!! Ordered online for pickup, and was a bit of a wait. We figured it would be, since it's a Friday night, as well as a holiday weekend. Then again, they're always so busy anyways! We've only been to an Oregano's one time that it wasn't so busy. Everything we've ever had, has always been - DEFINITELY ALWAYS WORTH THE WAIT!!!! Tonite we ordered CURBSIDE PICKUP, (due to COVID - 19), and were very pleased with how easy and convenient it was. We enjoyed a Pan Pizza with Pepperoni and Sausage, (their sausage is just seriously the best!),.. along with an appetizer of their awesomely large amount of Zucchini, (came with 1 - side of Ranch). Kudos to the new location, we will be ordering again, and cannot wait until we dine-in!!!! (They're open for dining, we chose not to do so yet). read more

Today we had the pleasure of eating at Oregano's. We've been here before, the ambiance is always great. However, today we were extremely impressed by our waiter Logan! He was phenomenal! Food was very good. Waitress was friendly. Ambiance was fun. What keeps this from being a 5-star review was the same thing that made our party of 6 almost walk out before we even order --- the hostess. We arrived on a Thursday evening, not a crowded night, and asked for a table of 6. Among our party was my 80+-year-old mother. Hostess walked to a table (without even a "Welcome, follow me" and showed us to a table with bar stool seating (28"-40" height), not a terrific option for a 4'10" 84-year-old. I asked if we could sit at a regular table and the hostess gave an angry turnabout, walked to a regular round table (seats about 18"-22"), slammed the menus on the table (didn't even disperse them) and walked away. No "Certainly. Is this okay? Here you go. Have a nice meal." Someone in our party said, "Thank you" and hostess just stomped away angrily, without reply, as if WE offended HER. I truly wanted to leave the restaurant and give someone else our business. She definitely should not be front-line customer service, interacting with guests. We were looking for a good plate of spaghetti that wasn't a big chain place. This was perfect. Great service, delicious meat sauce, savory garlic bread, flavorful salads and yummy cheese cake for dessert! We want to come back to try the pizza. Heard great comments on that. Where do I even start. What a horrible experience from start to finish. Unfortunately, the Oregano's of old is long gone. Dined here for the first time in a long time but wish we chose somewhere different. Walked in with a party of 7 and there was no wait (as we walked out we understood why there was no wait). The restaurant was more than half empty. We were seated by our server who looked flustered and was rushing around. Sat at the table for a while until he came back and took our drink and appetizer order. Finally got our drinks and right around the same time the appetizer came out. Ordered our dinner with the kids ordering pasta with alfredo sauce. Food took a while but finally came out. All of it was cold and tasted pretty bad, not fresh at all. The worst of it was the pasta with alfredo sauce. It tasted horrendous and the kids were not going to eat it. Flagged down our server to ask for butter and pasta instead only for him to say, yeah our alfredo sauce isn't good at all.... Would have been nice of him to tell us that when we ordered it. We rushed through the rest of our meal and couldn't get out of there quick enough. Needless to say that is the last time we will dine at Oregano's. It is a shame because they used to be so good. read more

Have been a devotee of Lou Malnatis since it opened, lived close by, now live close by Oreganos, so thought I would give the deep dish a try-Sunday-hey a few bucks less expensive. It was OK, nice touch with fresh tomatoes top. Leftover wrapped tightly in aluminum, placed in fridge. Ate 3 days later-Wednesday-all reserch I have read has said no problem if consumed in 4 days or less. Well, woke up a few hours after falling asleep with bad pain just below ribs on both side, and spent several minutes on all 4's over the BR throne. 48 hours of eating nothing but crackers, soup and water and feeling like S**T, and finally today-Saturday feeling like the human being that I know am. I do not need emperical evidence, I got anecdotal. We shall succumb to the additional drive time (and now worse with 101 construction) and return to Malnati's. I gotta listen to my body! read more

This Oregano's location is terrible! I dine/take away at some of their other locations and it's always been consistently good food and service. I should had just left. It wasn't even busy, so there was no excuse for the extremely slow service, the terrible food server, and the soggy salad. The food server kept touching her long hair and face mask. Yuck! We are a great meal with Juan providing great service. Our pizza was delicious and our salad was packed with protein and delicious as well. The GM Mandy was hands on and helping the servers and greeting guests. The restaurant was clean and ambiance was inviting. Our grandkids are picky eaters and they ate pizza and loved the ice cream and cookie dessert. They liked playing with and shaping the dough on their pizza pan the hostess delivered to the table. Last night 9/14 I went into the store to pick up an order that I had placed and when I came in the manager was yelling at a young girl to the point where she started crying. The lack of professionalism this establishment has is crucial. It's unbelievable how the MANAGER thought that this was something thats okay to do. We live near the former Shea location so we came up to No. Scottsdale for lunch. Italian Sandwich was really good. I prefer the bread not quite as toasted but my husband was fine with it. We also had a slice of lunch Pizza with salami and pepperoni. Pay attention the big printed lunch price is for cheese only!! Each topping is extra. Service was good even though they were quite busy. Oregano's was a favorite for years. Did Oregano's get bought out? Just got a pizza and salad and they are not edible. All ingredients seem completely different. The pizza was dry, pepperoni was not under the cheese, crust was not that thin, hardly any sauce. The chicken in our salad was dry. They gave up the wrong salad dressing. Very disappointed. Like every place they're running short staff and the staff they do have didn't even acknowledge us until the hostess finally appeared.our waitress was friendly and fast serving us waters and taking our drink order. We only had bottled beer, it was ice cold coming out. The Calamari strips were delicious and the marinara sauce good. One person had the meatballs. The dash driver had Multiple stops before my pizza was delivered it took all most 30min after dash pick it up from oregano's to go 3 Miles to my house.The pizza was good but the 2 Stars is for not using a better delivery service. DoorDash is who Oregano's advertise on the website to use that makes it Oregano's fault to. Another problem is no Curbside pick up. I rally like the food there but with no good delivery service and no curbside pick up I won't be go back to after the Pandemic. read more

The food was very poor quality. The salad was way over dressed and you could clearly see the lettuce was not fresh. other oregano locations seem to put more care into the quality of their food. We visited this location the other night. We uses love Oregano's , but feel like it is dying a slow death. The Big Julius Caesar Salad with Chicken used to be big enough for 2-3 people to share. Now it's is barely big enough for 2 people to share. Also, the Chocolate Chip Pizza Cookie normally comes with chocolate chips sprinkled on the ice cream. This time they were missing and it really impacted the taste of cookie. I still want to love Oregano's but it will be a long while before we go back. read more

I have never written a review, but feel this is necessary. I have to say the food was very poor. The chicken was very tough and bland. So probably frozen, my son ordered a pan pepperoni pizza. We got a cheese pizza, very soggy by the way. I asked the server is this a pepperoni pizza and she said yes the pepperoni is under the cheese. After looking it was a cheese pizza.
