stuffed french toast, bacon, and dutch baby

The Original Pancake House always has the vibes of a classic American diner. We came on a Saturday so had to wait a bit for a table. I got the stuffed French toast which was good but it's definitely on the eggier side so if you don't like eggy french toast keep that in mind. My friend gets the dutch baby every time and he loves it. We also got bacon to share and asked for it extra crispy and it came out perfect.

My wife loves the Apple Pancake, oven baked with fresh granny smith apples and pure Sinkiang cinnamon glaze. I tried the Spanish Omelet, Direct from Barcelona. Omelette Espanole. Our fluffy omelet filled with fresh mushrooms and smothered with a spicy, peppery, tangy sauce. Some how they forgot the sauce. It is a closed omelet so they can bake. Not a fan.

Food came out faster than expected, which is always a good thing! Only downside was the breakfast burrito didn't have any meat inside of it but still tasted good. Our server Delisa was great. Very quick and attentive. Will come back!!

To get out of the mall where we had just picked up our new iPhones, we decided to stay close and stopped at the Original Pancake House, which we hadn't eaten at in at least five years. I ordered the dish I almost always order there, which is the Eggs Michael, which is their benedict with a mushroom sherry sauce. I recall it having a fresher flavor to the sauce than what came out which had canned mushrooms. Also, I asked the server for the potato pancakes because I remember this dish coming with them in the first place -- but apparently, they no longer do. She nodded and said OK, you can have those. When the food came out, she brought regular pancakes. She apologized because she said she didn't hear me correctly, but I didn't want to wait another 10 minutes for pancakes to come out, so I took these instead of the regular ones. I didn't really like them. They were starchy, which I guess is what a pancake is supposed to taste like, but I didn't love these. Rachel got some chicken crepe thing, it looked nasty, like a bad 70s Chicken A La King thing you'd seen in a vintage women's magazine made with Campbell's Soup. The lunch menu is actually more constrained than what I thought they would have. They don't even have burgers here. They seem to have regular sandwiches like turkey club sandwiches, BLTs, etc. I didn't see anything that looked like it could be a roast beef or anything like that, so I ordered breakfast. I don't think this place is operating at the same level as it did five years ago, let alone 10. Probably don't need to eat here again.

Average at best. The syrup is weird and very watery. Servers are nice but the manager is kind of a sloth and seems incapable of speaking.

Pancakes are light and fluffy. Service was great and we were seated right away even after being advised 5-10 minute wait.

Our breakfast spot. We go there almost every Sunday. Kids get the Belgium waffle combo every time. Pancakes are the best too.

Staff was nice. - The decor is a "casual surfer beach house" theme, and they also have lots of signage near the small bar in support of the Buffalo Bills (all opposing teams be warned, I can only imagine the place during regular NFL season!) - The menu had quite a bit to choose from, including a bottomless booze option for $20 (nice!) - The staff is on the younger side so I was expecting far less than the kind service we received... definitely a bonus! - The food was good... we had the Burger and the Shrimp Quesadilla - Price was pretty reasonable for the portions & quality CONS: - My order got messed up a touch... not the end of the world but caused me to purchase something I didn't want - No Gluten-Free breads available (although they do have corn tortillas!) All in all a solid 4 stars, really only because there was nothing about the brunch that made me consider going above that rating. It really was all... good!

This dog and baby-friendly spot is one of Boca's top coffee shops for a reason. You walk inside and are greeted by delicious pastries. Though the inside isn't huge, there are a few high tops and a long table with bar stools lining the front window. Outside, you'll find a turf-covered yard with a couple of tables and chairs. On weekends it gets busy, so I recommend getting here early if you're planning on dining in. The drinks we ordered: - Seasonal gingerbread iced latte, which was probably one of the best gingerbread lattes I've had. The drink was topped with cinnamon cold foam and a piece of gingerbread-flavored cake. - Lutinni iced latte with chocolate and hazelnut perfect for chocolate lovers! It comes with a Ferrero Rocher. The food: - avocado toast - kept it simple this time around but this toast never disappoints. It's fresh and the bread is crispy - and the guacamole is topped with a fancy flower garnish. - VI also has pastries, other breakfast sandwiches and plenty of lunch wraps and sandwiches.

The ratio of filling to croissant was perfect, I had filling with every bite. It was perfectly sweet and decently flakey. I just finished the croissant on my plane ride back to NY and I'm still thinking about it. Based on the croissant, I'm sure they do other excellent pastries. Overall, I would highly recommend Cote France Cafe.

From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff behind the counter, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. The ambiance is exactly what you'd hope for in a French cafe: bright, lively, and effortlessly charming. The space has that perfect balance of cozy and bustling, with the aroma of fresh-baked pastries filling the air and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. I asked for a recommendation since everything (from the croissants and tarts to the éclairs and quiches) looked meticulously crafted and almost too pretty to eat. You can immediately tell there's a strong attention to detail in every item they make. I ultimately went with the almond croissant, and I can confidently say it's one of the best I've had. The exterior was perfectly flaky with just the right dusting of powdered sugar, giving it a delicate sweetness without being overwhelming. Inside, it was soft, airy, and beautifully layered. What really set it apart, though, was the almond filling. Unlike most almond croissants, where the filling is sparse or concentrated in one spot, this one delivered from the very first bite. The filling was rich, flavorful, and generously distributed throughout, making every bite consistently satisfying. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back and work your way through the entire pastry case. Looking forward to trying more on my next visit.

She apologized when coming back but it was a little odd, we waited about five mins or so. I told her I was considering the tiramisu latte or the pistachio latte and I was hoping she could help steer me in a direction. I asked what she thought between the two and she clearly found my question odd bc there was a long pause before she said it depends what I'm in the mood for. Which isn't very helpful at all lol. And she said it with a bit of sass, like what a dumb question to ask. I don't think my question was that outlandish, many places have specific favorites or recommendations. After discovering the tiramisu latte relies on the cream top that can only be made using cream and no non-dairy products, I decided against that one. Without the cream top, it's just a vanilla latte she told us. Typically the pistachio latte is made with syrup and a pistachio butter but she said even the pistachio butter is made with condensed milk. We wanted to confirm paying for a pistachio latte would be the same as paying for a latte with syrup added and she said it would, but again she seemed kinda annoyed or impatient by our questions. Not friendly service at all. It came out to $8 for an iced latte ($1 for non-dairy milk) in an albeit cute container but it was just subpar.
