As I popped a couple of popcorn chicken in my mouth, even without the accommodating sauce, the tastebuds in my mouth were partners dancing and jumping for joy. The sauce used to marinade and cooked in the chicken wing was so good! No side sauce necessary, but it was an added bonus to the dish. My main entrée was the seafood lobster hot soup, and boy, it was flavorful, tasty, and totally delicious! So many items in this soup including shrimp, octopus, clams, mussels, and a lot of different vegetables, but my favorite was the taro. These taro slices went very well with the soup. If you happen to be in the area, go and check out this restaurant. Because of the many soup options, don't be shy to ask for recommendations from the staff. I ended up chatting with the owner, Alex, while I waited, and he was super attentive and easy to talk to, which made the wait feel short. By the time I got home, my Sizzling Chicken Skillet sat for about 30-40 minutes before I could eat it... and somehow it was still perfect. The chicken was spot on and the udon held up beautifully. Easily some of the best takeout I've had in Denver. 15/10 would recommend. Definitely coming back, and next time I'm bringing friends!

But at Qi Lin, I love that they have some prepared food like marinated tofu, duck wings, the cucumber salad, and they give you some fried dumplings as an appetizer. They also have a great selection of pick your own veggies and noodles... but I really love that they have the individual cups of Blue Bunny ice cream, the fried sesame balls and fried dough as dessert. Most hot pot places either don't have dessert or they have scoop your own ice cream, so this individual cups or popsicles - feels more sanitary. The service was good, they bring out the meat of your choice and refill your water. The restaurant is big and clean, did not get a chance to use their restroom this time but would recommend if you like a variety, this is a good place to stop if you're in the area.
