    Spicy Garlic Edamame
    Marlene Z.

Tasty and fresh sushi. This place is small, intimate and feels comfortable. You're able to have a conversation without having to yell. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. We started with the spicy garlic edamame. It is definitely spicy, but very delicious. I had the Alaska roll and the salmon and crab tasted fresh. Overall, this place is worth visiting and I'm looking forward to trying another roll.

Oh my goodness! This hidden gem is absolutely amazing and delicious! I don't even remember how I discovered this hidden gem but I'm so glad I did. It is located in a shopping center and you would never know it is a great place to dine whether lunch or dinner. I absolutely love everything in the menu but let me share my personal favorites. I always order the blackened tuna appetizer that is peppered sashimi style tuna with goat cheese and a delish sweet and spicy wasabi sauce . Also paired with spicy tuna hand rolls and the miss sambal roll, Kevin roll and latin roll which is fried. Service can be a little slow but the environment is super authentic and chill and the guys behind the sushi bar and very nice.

    Chirashi Sushi Combo

I came here for dinner with my girl friend on a Friday night! I had called earlier in the day to ask if I needed a reservation and the staff recommended to -- it was quick and easy to do. I'm glad I called because shortly after we were seated (~6:30pm), the restaurant started getting busy. My metric to test a restaurant's sushi is always to order their chirashi bowl if they offer it, and the chirashi at Osaka Mansun did not disappoint! The portion size is massive - the cuts of nigiri are thick and the chef gave me a great variety. Everything tasted fresh and the garnishes were lovely. I especially appreciate the inclusion of perilla leaf. I ordered another chirashi bowl to-go for my boyfriend and he loved it too! I'll definitely be taking him here in the future.

Calamari - good but overpriced $11.95
    Diana N.

Fried Calamari $11.95- kind of pricey for 7 pieces that looked like onion rings. Beef Broth Soup (Sul Loung Tang) $14.95- [Beef broth soup made from beef bones and stewing meat] - I think this is what I ordered for my 9 year old nephew. (Waitress recommended this because they don't have beef udon. My nephew wanted something beef noodle soup). Didn't expect a big bone in it, but surprisingly a large portion. Beef was pretty tender and tasty. He liked the beef but didn't care for the clear noodles. Sake Toro (salmon belly) nigiri $7.95 for 2 - good Hamachi (Yellowtail) Nigiri $7.50 for 2 - good SUSHI ROLLS: My favorites were Ken's Roll and Magu Roll. Listed in order of preference: Ken's Roll $15.95 - [Salmon, tuna, mango, avocado, green onion wrapped with soybean paper] Our favorite. Unique with the soybean paper. Slightly sweet from the mango and sauce. Magu Roll $11.95 - [Tuna delight, avocado, and cucumber with tempura flakes and sweet sauce on top] Very good, enjoyed the tempura flakes and sweet sauce on top. This was a good loaded, unhealthy roll, yum! Mother & Daughter $16.95 - [Salmon and avocado with salmon and salmon egg (ikura) on top] Very simple but very good. Comes w/ spicy Japanese mayo, which we asked for on the side since my 6 year old nephew wanted this roll. Amazing roll $14.95 - [Spicy tuna, cucumber with fresh salmon and tuna] Spicy tuna was actually a tad spicy. Typical, would try something else next time. Philadelphia roll $11.95- [Smoked salmon, cream cheese, and avocado] Your standard philly roll, would try something else next time. --------------- Pros: Tasty food, plenty of parking in the open lot. Cons: Kind of pricey ($12 for a Philly roll?), dimly lit inside, food took awhile even though it wasn't busy on a Saturday evening.

What a little gem!!! The sushi was so fresh and delicious. Small but great ambiance. There wasn't anything that wasn't delicious. They were very accommodating for any changes we wanted to make. Wine and beer available. We'll be back!

    Lunch box

Fresh food and good service. Their pricing is fair and they haven't made much changed over the past few years. Only complain is that service can be slow as they have only one server.

This place is a hidden gem! We went for my boyfriend's birthday today, and they don't take reservations but the staff was so nice to help us secure a table after knowing it's for birthday celebration! There were not many people dining in because it's Tuesday, but clearly there are transparent plastic shields between tables to make it safe. The food was really delicious. We actually got lost with so many items on the menu, and it was really hard to choose with such variety including both Korean and Japanese. The tuna tower and wagyu were really tasty and the portion size were quite reasonable. We also had veggie tempura and they were so crispy and fresh! We wanted to have some sashimi but didn't want any rolls, so we ordered chirashi and the seafood all tasted fresh! Overall we were really impressed by this place and can't wait to try their Korean entrees next time!

I ordered the chefs' choice of 9 pieces of sashimi and 5 nigiri sushi. Overall the presentation is good and the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. The fish was so-so, a few pieces weren't as fresh as My expectations, but were in no way unfresh. A pretty decent sushi joint.

    Seafood Pancake

Came here looking for Korean food. We want to try this Korean restaurant close by and see how good it was. I was a little disappointed by soup as the soup broth was pretty much just salt and pepper. There was no beefy flavor to it. But they do give you good amount of meat. The seafood pancake was good. I have been craving for a seafood pancake for a while and this hits the spot. Lots of seafood and good portion size pancake. Would come back to get their pancake and maybe try other Korean dishes.

For meats we tried a solid mix including finger steak, beef tongue, pork belly (both regular and thin), and even beef intestine. We also went through all the banchan, and my parents ordered the veggie pancake and spicy tofu soup. Overall everything was really good. We didn't get a single bad cut and everything was flavorful and cooked well. What really made this place stand out though was the service. MJ took care of us and was incredible from start to finish. Since it was our first time, she walked us through the menu and even helped cook the meats so we could actually relax and enjoy our time together. She stayed on top of the grill, swapping it out right when needed, and was always checking in to see if we needed anything or wanted more banchan. What stood out the most was how thoughtful she was with my parents. She made sure they had food on their plates without overdoing it, which was such a small detail but meant a lot. The food was great, but MJ really made the experience. Definitely coming back.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and such positive energy. The welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and chill vibe made us feel right at home. Every dish we ordered was outstanding and packed with flavor. The seafood pancake was cooked to crispy perfection, something that's surprisingly hard to find, as it's often left a bit doughy at other restaurants. The steamed egg was light, fluffy, and comforting, while the spicy tofu pork soup was phenomenal. It had just the right amount of heat, with silky, melt-in-your-mouth tofu and incredibly tender pork belly that paired perfectly with a bowl of rice. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. At one point I accidentally dropped my chopsticks, and before I could even ask for another pair, one of the servers noticed from across the restaurant and immediately brought me a new set. It's those small, thoughtful touches that really set a restaurant apart. SOHA exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Korean food with genuinely exceptional hospitality, this is the place. It has officially become a must-visit every time I'm in Austin.

The flavor and the spice were perfect, I would come back for it. It's a must try!! The menu had a lot of items that sounded good. My friends ordered a variety of things and they all tasted amazing and wasn't as expensive as the fried chicken. The atmosphere was fun and chill for a Friday evening, lots of music videos playing on multiple screens. Towards 7pm it started filling up pretty fast and got pretty packed.
