Delicious pizza and genuinely kind staff!! The day we came there was some issue in the area with water, so menu items were limited. However, we were able to order a couple of small pizzas. I got the Paisano and my daughter got a cheese. I loved mine and think my daughter's was tasty too. She likes pizza with lighter cheese and there was A LOT of it. So, if you don't like a ton of cheese, ask for light. Otherwise, the crust and sauce was great. The person working the front counter and chef both went above and beyond multiple times during our visit. I called to place and order and a female said hello.. goodbye and hung up. I used to go there about twice a week with my kids. I was very disappointed with the rude service a little over 2 years ago so I stopped going. I have tried several times in the last year and still rude service. Wish the original owner that started the pizza was still there. He was very friendly and had great customer service. Since he's left the service is horrible. We've stood at the outside windows to order while employees carry on a conversation with each other and not even acknowledge you are there for 13 minutes as you start to walk away. I'm over this place. It's the second time I've had a bad experience and it's enough. Last time we had it delivered. The wings were overcooked and tough. This time I picked it up after ordering online. You cannot pay online for pickup orders so you must wait in line to pay. If it's freezing temps it's no fun(I had no idea it worked this way). I was handed my order and could tell the fries were barely warm. I asked the guy if he could "please redo the fries as they weren't hot". He got defensive immediately and I said it's not a big deal-can you just redo them? (They were $6.00 fries btw, so, I felt justified in asking for them to be hot). The same guy handed me the fries back. I thanked him and went home. I shouldn't have thanked him. The fries had been re-fried and were soaked with grease; so obviously-so I guess that was my punishment for asking for the food to be just normal. Not bad, not great, just normal. I opened the box of wings and no blue cheese dressing, ffs. There was only two parts to the order and the couldn't manage to complete either. On either occasion. I called the store. Same guy answered the phone. Advised my wings were missing the b.c. sauce. His solution? For me to drive back up for it...what the actual? So I can then reheat the wings AND the fries(a 3rd time?). I declined this stupid offer and he said he'd put it on my account. I laughed. I'm never going back. I'm warning people. I was told that it would be another 45 minutes as they have a delivery window between 1 1/2 and 2 hours. Best not to order from here if you"re hungry. No apology for the long wait. It seems that is their normal delivery time (this was a Sunday evening order). I wonder how long a Saturday delivery would take. Pizza was good but not amazing. We have eaten pronto pups here before and they were terrific. But this last time - 2/18/21 - the pronto pups were a disappointment. We ordered the jalapeno cheddar one and the smoky bacon cheddar one. First they were not marked as to which one was which and you couldn't tell by looking. We broke them open and looked and smelled and still couldn't tell. It seemed like they were the normal ones, no flavors or even maybe the polish sausage ones as the dogs had skins on them. Second, the person who answered the phone told us the order would be about 45 minutes, 2 hours later we called to see what was up and they insisted they told us it would be 2 hours. SMH!! If there was one word to describe this place it would be, AMAZING. My family stopped in on the way home from the beach because of yelp reviews and I couldn't be happier that we did. There owner came out to check on us and when he found out that our pizza order had been made with a mistake he wouldn't take no for an answer when he offered to make my wife a whole new pizza just for her and on top of that offered my son an ice cream cone so he got to enjoy his first ever ice cream cone. If you come in and he's not busy take the time to say hello to the owner. He seems like a really great guy and I'm sure he (and his food) will make your day just like they made ours. Had to the biggest pronto pup I've ever seen and it looked tasty!! That was the last good thing about the place. We grabbed a couple of pups for the road and it was the first time since I was a kid to stop there. 10 minutes down the road towards Salem we reached and grabbed a stick and brought it out. I took a bite, the taste was ok...... very salty...... it was still hot so I hadn't it back to my wife to put back in the bag that's when I noticed grease running down to my elbow. We ordered Otis Pizzeria delivery this past weekend and we were pleasantly surprised. We got a Meat Lover's pizza and it was quite good. We also order the Garlic Knots, which are loaded with garlic which we love! The chicken tenders and fries were also pretty good. Our delivery guy was great, he asked if this was the first time we had Otis pizza, which it was. He told us they are really flexible with the proportions on toppings so if we like more cheese or more sauce to let them know and they'll accommodate our likes. Also, he told us if we know we're going to want a pizza delivered at a certain time to call earlier in the day. They can get really busy, especially during weekends so if you don't call ahead you may experience a long delivery time. My only wish was that their pizza was a litter cheaper in price, the XL (which granted is a big pizza, I'm not sure on the exact measurements of it) was $45. We are staying at Surftides and this pizza place came highly recommended by the front desk. The ordering process was really quick, polite and with suggestions. Our order came hot and delivered by a every nice person. The pizza delicious, but soon after he left we realized we didn't have paper plates, napkins, parm cheese. I found myself having to use towels from the bathroom as plates and napkins. Just f$&king wrong. I called them and asked way they shorted us these items knowing we were in in hotel and the rude man said I needed to request those items if needed! WTF.. Very friendly folks run this quaint country restaurant. Pizza was excellent. Interesting historical photos and facts on the wall. A dog run for your dog was an unusual touch. Also charming that the walls in the bathroom are chalkboards where you are welcome to leave some messages for the next patrons. Unique place to stop on your way to or from the Oregon Coast. Just tried this place after seeing positive Yelp reviews. We ordered delivery, one pizza (the Otis combo) and a chicken Caesar salad. They were easily accomodating with a couple of minor changes to the ingredients. Pros: the salad was adequate. Not amazing, but not bad, either. The pizza? It had a ton of toppings. No shortage of anything. Taste was solid. Very filling. Old-school. Now for the cons: the food took over 90 minutes to arrive, when I was quoted 40-60. Worst ever? Nope, but not timely. Perhaps as a result, the pizza crust was wet, and I do mean wet. Probably condensation, but definitely took away from the experience. I will say the driver was very polite and apologized for the delay. Lincoln City doesn't have a lot of pizza options, and this is not your worst option here. But for us next time? We'll probably go with a different cuisine altogether. read more
