Very disappointing! The quality of the food was to be expected. Rating of 1-10 the food was a 5. The issue is the lack of service. The Hostess greeted me kindly and took me to my seat. That's where the service ended. The Manager , Server April, and Hostess were talking at a high top table just 3 tables away. After 12 minutes I have to wave to get their attention. After ordering it took 15 minutes to get my dinner salad, then it took another 20 minutes before I stopped the Manager and asked where my steak was. Five minutes later the Manager delivered the steak to my table and said it took longer because I ordered the steak medium-well. They forgot the shrimp. I expressed to the Manager the service was very poor. April never came back to my table. My water was never refilled. And I had to flag down the male bartender to get my bill. Awesome experience. I drive by this place on a daily basis, so we decided to come in today for lunch. At was about 1 pm on a Friday afternoon. Restaurant was not busy at all, the hostess in front greeted as with a big smile, which was nice! We followed her to our seats almost right away. Plenty of booths to choose from. Our waiter's name was Mauricio Silva, such a cool dude. Big smiles, very friendly, helpful, and attentive. We had a nice chat with him since he had a bit of time. Our order was ready quickly, since there weren't that many people inside the restaurant. They had maybe about 4-6 tables going, plus a few at the bar section. The brown bread was so delicious, we couldn't get enough of it, but had to save space for the main entree. Their bread never disappoints. I had the full rack of ribs, meat was really tender, full of flavor, and the fries were nice and crunchy! My wife ordered the prime rib sandwich and she liked it too. And by the way I looked up where they get the meat, Brazil?? They're not supporting USA's farmers. And the ship meet from a different country and then transport it to all the different restaurants must take a lot of time also so the meat goes bad. Why are they getting their meat from Brazil?? That's probably why the meat is so bad. But it's lot cheaper but their price is so high for me and I not able to have a meal. This is my first time in an Outback ever so I was pretty excited. I was greeted by Kimberly at the front when I first came in with our party There wasn't too much of a wait because we went on a weekday so we got seated immediately. As it was my first time, I had plenty of questions and she took our order as well. I thought we ordered a lot and what stood out to me was that she didn't write anything down. So I was thinking if my order was input correctly. A little bit after, all out food and drinks came out perfectly. I was so surprised because her memory was amazing and shocked me because I couldn't even remember last night dinner. The first thing we ordered was the blooming onion which had a really nice presentation. I enjoyed it with ranch but I didn't really like the yellow sauce they provided in the middle. It was like crispy at the top and more fresh onions at the bottom which was yummy. As for my entrée, I ordered the fillet mignon medium rare. (Best way to go for meat) It was cooked to perfection, and I ate it all along with my mash which was also delicious. I would highly recommend this place and I found out upon leaving that Kimberly was the manager of that location. Disappointed. I unfortunately, have not eaten at Outback in years and my mom wanted to take me out for my birthday and asked, where do you want to go? I responded with Outback since I haven't been in so long.. We ordered the blooming onion. So greasy making it difficult to eat and enjoy. Dinner I had the Toowoomba Salmon and it was so buttery and greasy I couldn't eat it. Highly bummed out as Outback was a favorite of mine as a kid.
