It saddens me to write them a bad review especially since the two hosts who opened the door and seated us were so wonderful. The food is okay; it's Outback, I don't expect anything spectacular, but what I do expect is good service. It's really too bad because the past several times I've been here I've had great service, but this time has solidified the reason to avoid this place. We sat and waited. Ten minutes go by while various servers walk past, completely ignoring us. Tired of waiting, I flagged a waitress and she went to go our waitress. Turns out, our waitress had already walked by. Twice. There was no apology, no introduction, no smile, just a very brusque, "Can I get you something to drink" and "are you ready to order now." After taking our orders, she went to the table behind us to take their orders and it was like she was a completely different person even introducing herself and giving recommendations. She was talkative, friendly, and accommodating. While with us, she was the complete opposite. It was annoying to say the least. I guess at one point she felt bad because almost every time she walked by she asked us how the food was. I felt this situation could have been avoided if she at least apologized or gave some excuse for making us wait so long. Oh well. The food was okay, a bit too much on the salty side though. read more

Worst Outback I've ever been to. I was so disappointed in the quality, portion sizes and flavor of the foods that I usually get at other Outback Steahouse locations. The bloomin' onion was not cooked well with some limpy parts and some burnt pieces. The steak was not cooked to my specifications and it was small and not well flavored. The Alice Springs Chicken was a smaller portion and not well plated, it was just sloppy and the bacon was fatty. I took a friend who had never been to Outback and he's pretty set against trying any other one because the experience was not good. read more

I love me some Outback. They do it right here. Also there never seems to be too big of a crowd. The most I ever waited was 15 minutes on a Friday night. That's not to say they are lacking patrons for any negative reason - it just seems to be in a location that attracts more regulars than heavy weekend crowds. The bar staff is very kind. Also the wait staff seem to be very capable. I don't see a lot of new faces in the staff, which means they stay a while. Takeaway has its faults. I've had a few botched orders, but not frequent enough to be an issue. Just check your bag before you leave, and you'll be just fine. Overall a great weekday place to get a hot lunch or dinner. Just moved to houston and decided to get a decent steak. Quiet during the timef rame with my party. Didn't see much that appealed to me on pricepoints so just got a burger with fries. Wait time wasn't bad and wait staff seemed cool. Food showed up and that was it.Company I was with found a hair in their meal so we got a new prime rib who the manager brought out to us who then argued with my friend about what the "hair" might of been before dropping it. She didn't finish her replacement meal. Mine, the burger remember? Medium rare of boring bland and tasteless, the fries had more flavor. Had to ask for more ketchup just for my fries. Manager thankfully comped the prime rib...which id be livid if he didn't. In short atmosphere was ok but I'm not going here anytime..if ever again nor will my company. read more

Went in about 30 minutes before closing. Took almost 15 minutes before someone came by, but he was super friendly and said the hostess didn't tell him we were there. So no worries there on my end, it happens. The berry peach mojito I had wasn't so great, too sweet without enough of a fruit flavored punch. The blooming onion was great as well as the French onion soul and pecan salad. I opted for the $15 meal deal with a few addons. It is a four course deal. My steak, which I rarely eat anymore, was a bit overdone and needed a bit more seasoning. I got the dessert to go and they forgot the raspberry sauce on my cheesecake. I recently went to lunch at Outback with a couple of my colleagues this past week and had a blast. The appetizers (blooming onion), margaritas, food (pork tenderloins), and service were great. Waitress was very nice and did a great job. The food was bad. This was because everything was COVERED in black pepper. First I got the cheese fries with bacon and ranch dip. The fries were hard (I think old) and they were coated with salt and black pepper under the cheese. Got my steak. Again, covered in black pepper, even the broccoli with cheese had black pepper in it, too much! One of the cooks or chefs LOVES course black pepper. For the love of the good Lord, cool it with the pepper. I couldn't even take the remaining steak home to my dogs. Not coming back. And too bad, because it's very close to my work. Oh well! This is our first time to Outback Steakhouse ever. We wanted to try the steak and lobster special for $14.99 couldn't resist the price. You get what you pay for! I've had better steak at Beck's Prime. My steak was cooked medium, my husband's medium rare. I see the color difference but the tenderness or lack of was the same. The steaks were very hard to chew, not tender at all. The small lobster was definitely frozen. The positives were the sides; the mushrooms, sweet potato, garlic mashed potatoes, and bread were really good. Service was friendly but our waiter forgot to bring the blue cheese crumble until half the steak was eaten. I'm glad we didn't pay full price for what we had. I wish their were zero stars.The worst customer service ever!! First of the staff is spread too thin. Out bartender was a food runner also so the wait times were out of control. We ordered our food one way and it comes out another way. My girl ordered a steak "rare" it comes out medium well. My steak I wanted well done it was so hard I couldn't ever cut it with a knife. So they took my steak back and the rest of my order was cold . So in total we waited for our food for about hour or so . Then a so-called manager "Marcus" comes over and and didn't introduce himself or anything . Then he proceeds to accused me and my girl of "bashing /attacking the bartender for their mistakes. I was so angry that I called to the corporate office and filed a complaint. However their was one person that rally did an excellent job and provided the best customer service was the other manger Kevin. Kevin ensured that out food and drinks were well taken care of!! So if Outback gets rid of the trash mangers and hire more people like Kevin then more customers will come to eat . I love this Outback. There is never a huge crowd when I go for lunch and the staff are always more than accommodating. Today they even served the burger my coworker and I were splitting already in half and even though we ordered a to-go item a little late (after already starting on our food), it was ready when we were. I have given up on Outback in Torrance, CA and saw this one while in town in Houston and thought I would give it a third try. They didn't disappoint. I was seated promptly in the bar area and greeted immediately by the waiter and gave my drink order, a well gin martini. It took 10 minutes during a not busy time for it to come out. Unfortunately it had a lemon twist and that was all I could taste was lemon. Fortunately, the waiter checked on me and he replaced it with one with olives. I think I saw them use Titos on the second one and tasted as such. Oh well I wasn't going to ask for a third one. The meal came which was very good, however the waiter never showed up again except to try to upsell me to dessert before he left the bill. As I mentioned above, I was in the bar. The bar is next to the kitchen door and the waiter passed me after my food was delivered, I lost count at 25 going to and from the kitchen giving an excellent opportunity to stop by but it never happened. read more

I have patronized this facility for a few years and tonight with two guests / they ordered the prime rib !!! Wow it was thinner that a MacDonalds burger ! I was shocked ,..SHOCKED !! I didn't anyome could make a prime rib that skinny. Also do not order and mixed drinks. They are ALL watered down. Order beer. IF you have to g to this rip off establishment . Wow! Lorel winfrey, the waiter was extraordinary as well as the other staff! My grandson's steak was sightly under cooked and immediately lorel and the staff took care of it. Much to my surprise, the manager comped the steak and also offered desserts. And when they brought the steak out, they also brought new, fresh sides. I believe that they went beyond anything that most Restaurants would do. What a very nice Suprise during this day and age. We came here for a celebratory dinner before my son goes off to college. Pretty much everything that could go wrong...went wrong with our meal. But, we had a really WONDERFUL server, Sam. He did everything possible to make sure our experience wasn't horrible, he has great jokes. But, overall, this dining experience was Ok. We had a strawberry lemonade that took 30 minutes to come out, there was hair in one of the salads, the next one came out with brown lettuce. Next, two of the steak dinners came out - the wrong size, one that was ordered 'well' came out bleeding, the one that was ordered 'medium rare' came out darker than me... thoroughly well done. Two of the plates came out with none of the toppings ordered. The two managers came out, spoke with us, apologized and comp'ed our entire meal, and we got desert. It was snafu after snafu....but, we kept smiles on our face and enjoyed each others company. They made up for the mistakes... All in all, We'll be back... We went to Outback with the family for Dinner. We were seated without a wait and our server Cory took great care of us, friendly service at just the right pace. Food was very good with plenty of healthy choices on the menu. We liked the fact that you can stick to the Whole 30 diet at Outback (order the sweet potato, dry along with your steak or chicken and fresh vegetables). Also the menu has all the calories listed for each dish, with options and a small icon that denotes items with less calories. Just wanted say that tonight restored my faith in Outback. It the past it had questionable if your meal was going to meet your expectations. Tonight I am happy to say it did not disappoit.
