This spot is amazing. I enjoyed my time here and they followed all the precautions due to the pandemic. Saturday January 25,2020 stepped out for a quick bite. Decided on Outback and were not disappointed. Sam our server was attentive and knowledgeable. We had appetizers, steaks and dessert. Over 1 hour for food to come out. They did end up taking the price of the appetizers off. Food was Okay, but really how long does it take to cook a piece of chicken or steak and a side of mixed vegetables or mashed potatoes. It's not like they cook from scratch or anything fancy. Went last night. Ordered the special 9 oz sirlion baked potato soup salad.. steaks were cold, soup was lukewarm, waitress was apathetic.. sent it back, got the same steaks back overcooked, tough as shoeleather, mashed potatos instead of baked... little concern for customer satisfaction. We had food delivered. It was barely warm. My house salad was no onions or tomatoes but was incorrect. The cheese fries were so cold and the cheese was hard. Very disappointed. Also dressing for my 7 year old was honey mustard. But sent with a spicy Thai dressing and no croutons. read more

We go to the Lindenhurst Outback all the time. It's generally my favorite place and my order is usually the same. Bloomin onion (to share) well done, with ranch instead of bloom sauce. Outback special (sirloin steak) with roasted garlic butter topping (to die for!), mashed potatoes, and broccoli. If it's a special occasion that requires dessert, we'll order a Chocolate Thunder from down under. To drink, gotta have the strawberry peach sangria! Delish! We went on Fri 2/7/20 and had waiter Ben. We've had him before, and he is quite the character. Definitely not your usual type of waiter, but very friendly and gave us great service. I always want a waiter/waitress to come over and check on drink refills, especially water. If you see I'm running low please just refill or ask if we want a refill, I hate having to sit there thirsty waiting for them to pass by. Ben was ontop of this, checked on us a few times, and offered us a free dessert or appetizer for the night. I will always recommend Outback. read more

They always do right by us. Whether we are eating in or taking out their servers are very good! I know it's a chain but when you want a decent meal in this town there are few places to Choose from. Went to outback to get take out. Don't judge based on take out. I wouldn't get the salads since their dressings ruin them. When I eat in the food is good. The steaks are quality with a lot of side choices and seafood add ons. They usually have special combo deals at descent price. The wings and stuffed tilapia are good. Ordered online delivery, waited over an hour for food, had to call when it didnt arrive on time, when food did arrive i was missing dishes from said order and food was ice cold, also I live six minutes away so this was the last straw, called the manager who is a gentlemen and a nice man and refunded my money, so that's the only reason i gave two stars. Mother's Day weekend - Sizzler's were being asshats so I decided to spend my $100 elsewhere -- Outback! *sings* Let's go Outback tonight.... oh eee ohhh ohhh.... Justin, our server, seemed to be new but he certainly lightened up our evening. The fact that he referred to my 7 year old brother as "sir" made me tingle a lil bit, I'm not gonna lie. I like this kid serving us. He was polite and upbeat. To start, we had to have the Awesome Blossom, because, well you just gotta have one of 'em when you come into Outback, otherwise it's just not the full Outback experience. This lil oniony goodness makes my mouth melt a lil every time (and I only come here once every several years!) While they had ran out of the prime ribs that evening, I really would have loved to try their Prime Rib & Crab Cake special. Maybe next time. So my mom and I had to decide on something else instead. I ended up getting the Victoria's Center Cut steak with Aussie Chips and Pink Lemonade. While the cut looks small, believe me it can actually fill you up! While I have had better steak elsewhere, this wasn't all that bad. A lil on the dryer side than I would like and a lil more marinade would be spectacular. Ma got the Outback Special, which she enjoyed, but didn't love. She too thought her steak was on the dryer side. While dad got one of the best meals - Slow-Roasted Sirloin Medley... this actually seems to have more of an Italian flair to it. It was served with fresh herbs, lots of garlic, olive oil, grape tomatoes, a bit of asparagus and spinach. Dad absolutely was amazed by the flavor packed into the sirloin and the spinach. I, of course, had to have a taste of it from all his praise. Indeed it was a delightful dish. My sister got the Atlantic salmon, and baby bro of course got the chicken fingers with fries. I didn't hear much from them regarding their entrees, and so I believe them to be as you would expect a simple salmon or chicken fingers. However, once again, the highlight of the evening here wasn't so much the dishes, other than my dad's, but the customer service we received from our server. Upbeat, funny, and certainly deserving of praise. I made sure that I left a "You've Been Yelped!" card before I left. Ok so it's Outback so you pretty much know what you're going to get. The question is, is the location nearest you worth going to. Luckily this one is close by and is worth checking out. We came here looking for an easy meal in a Monday night and Outback fit the bill. It was a Monday night so there was no wait what so ever. Our server Alex was great. She gave us all the time we needed to look over the menu and figure out what to drink. We started out with their peppered ahi tuna app. It was ok, nothing to do cartwheels over and the Asian slaw was in reality a few scattered pieces of iceberg lettuce. I'd skip that one and go for the blooming onion. (Unless you're watching the calories like we are) For our mains I got the ribeye (what calories) and she got the fillet. They're were both cooked perfectly (medium rare.... Thanks for asking) and to me that's all that really matters in a steak place We skipped desert although they had some good looking ones. This location has fallen off tremendously. According to staff the company is changing and that's why certain things are no longer available. Like their grilled lobster tails and now broccoli. I find this hard to believe because other locations still have these food items available. They seem to be short staffed and overworked with the staff they do have. I'm extremely disappointed. Today was the last straw for me. Needless to say I would not be returning to this location nor reccomend it. If this is indeed the company making changes they need to reconsider if they want to keep their revenue a float. read more

So I was a bit disappointed that my steak was slightly over-cooked from my ideal choice, but the asparagus, baked potato and beer were all just what I wanted. The other person had not a complaint. We were seated quickly, wait staff friendly and efficient. Don't sit at the booth by their door that is not the main entrance as it gets breezy...especially on a cool damp night...that's what we discovered as we sat for awhile. 5 stars would have been...my steak perfect! read more

Outback now takes reservations! I have frequented this location since it opened years ago. Went here for a birthday with about 10 people. They didn't make us wait until the entire party arrived which is nice. I dislike when restaurants wait until everyone arrives...it's weird and uncomfy. First off the table smelled like a dirty towel/wet sponge..ick! Whatever so ignoring the smell we continue with our experience. 2We order drinks and I'm the only one at the table of 11 who gets ID'D. The waiter's logic is as follows: "We have to ID everyone who looks younger than 40". Interesting, NO ONE at my table is 40 or looks 40. So we all laugh it off. For appetizers we ordered the blooming onion (of course), the aussie cheese fries and the new trio sampler (has coconut shrimp, pan seared tuna and crab meat guacamole). Blooming onion is always good, I am not crazy about the cheese fries but my friends love them. The trio was by far my favorite. The coconut shrimp were delicious, the tuna was delectable and perfect, the guac with crab meat was an interesting combo but tasty as well (I DEF recommend this app). For an entrée I ordered a special they were offering: petit filet with lobster tail. Unfortunately the filet looked about the size of a McDonald's hamburger. It was OK at best. The lobster was good (what you expect from a chain I suppose). Overall it was an OK experience. I would likely come here again out of peer pressure only. read more

Call-ahead or don't go on a weekend. Even when you do call ahead, you can still wind up sitting for an hour at the bar with your party of 8 and racking up a $150+ bar tab.. Oops (they don't do buy backs and will never buy you a drink like a regular bar.. Oh well). Food is chain food. Steaks are pretty good. Blooming onion and cheese fries are very much guilty pleasures, and when I'm feeling crazy I'll get the bloomin burger to accompany my bloomin onion. YUM. read more
