So I have been really wantig to go to Outback for several months, but could not talk my fiance into this with no results. Now that I am in Myrtle Beach food work, I have indulged my craving. I had the Blue cheese wedge salad ( decadent!) and the sirlion and lobster. I know, I am at the beach, but this is not where Maine lobsters come from anyway! Perfectly cooked medium rare steak and lobster tail. I started to get an extra side of a baked potato...glad I didn't! I am now stuffed, and my craving has been satisfied. My wife and I ate lunch here last week. My wife ordered the top sirloin and shrimp and I ordered the fillet and lobster tail. My wife ordered medium rare and I ordered my fillet medium. Her steak was rare almost raw. My steak was rare to medium rare. I have been a butcher since 1998 and I am 99.99% sure that my steak was no fillet. The lobster was lukewarm and overcooked. The service was excellent. Ambiance was ok. Normally we have a wonderful experience when we have visited Outback in California where we lived. We have visited this particular restaurant before and had an excellent experience. This time our experience was very different. It seemed to us that whoever was the chef/cook that cooked our meals was either having a bad day or was not as experienced as he/she should be. I hope if we ever decide to visit again, we will have a better experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone for it's excellent service. Good luck. read more

Being friends invited us for a birthday we went. The food was ok for a chain & by the end of the night I didn't know who our server was being they were all over the place. When bringing a dink over to refill the one you were drinking make sure to take whatever dishes or glasses that aren't being used. Also check on every one at the table more then once to make sure everything is to your liking. read more

Even with the restaurant slammed with diners service was amazing! Our drinks never went dry and the food was out in a timely manner. The bathrooms were clean and orderly. Ordered take out for my husband and I on 9/2/2023 went and picked it up, when we got home and ready to eat, half the order was not in the bag, We ordered Filet Mignon, our steaks we got were Sirloins and when we called to complain, we were told they are Filet Mignons and they butterfly them, which is not the case with our order, they were Sirloins. We opted to enjoy the patio for a late lunch. Service was excellent, constant but unobtrusive, Thank-you Joshua! Excellent clam chowder, hot, just enough spice, good flavor. I ordered a baked potato while my husband ordered the grilled salmon and veggies. He pronounced the salmon "excellent " with a nice pepper crust, moist and juicy. Veggies were broccoli, carrots, and yellow squash, all nicely done. My baked potato was perfect, exactly how I like it, with a fluffy center and crisp skin. Dear Becca Stokes, I am writing this letter of recommendation in regards to Tyshime, currently a member of your waitstaff (Busboy) at Outback West, Myrtle Beach, SC location. I had the pleasure of meeting Tyshime while at a local barbershop, and he overheard my conversation regarding the poor customer service I had received at an Outback restaurant, and he politely interrupted my conversation and said, "Sir you need come to the Outback location that I work at because it has the best food, waitstaff, atmosphere and customer service". So I informed Tyshime that based on his recommendation that I would stop by his location and see if it lived up to his description of service. So I came into his location approximately two weeks later and I had a wait time of 15 minutes during which time he recognized me waiting for a table and came over and welcomed me to the restaurant and re-assured me that I would have an enjoyable experience. True to Tyshime's word everything was fantastic from the atmosphere to the customer service, quality of food and wait staff. Based on the customer service this young man provided to me, I would recommend your restaurant to my friends and co-workers; as well as frequenting your establishment again in the future. This outback steakhouse was really busy and packed. The parking lot was all filled up practically and many patrons and family sitting in patio area. We did not have a reservation and tried to wing it. Hostess said it was going to be a 30 minute wait which we gave our names and we were also looking for seats at the bar-they were all filled. It was a nice evening and we hanged around in the front porch area outside to avoid all the people standing inside waiting for a table. Was not too long of a wait and we were seated in a booth. Waitress came by and asked what we wanted to drink. Their menus are pretty extensive. We both were going to order the Blackberry Sangria and the waitress was so helpful and said go for the Shareable Mason Jar. Nice and refreshing for a hot and humid evening down south. We got like 4 drinks out of the Shareable Mason Jar which is a good deal. We also both got the 1/2 order of baby back ribs. I went for the Aussie Fries and they were flavored just right and the Baby Back Ribs were so tender and juicy. We also got the Alice Springs Chicken Quesadillas which came with chunks of chicken smothered with cheese with veggies. Will definitely be back again the next time I am in Myrtle Beach. read more

The steaks were all varying in thickness (mine and my husbands were super thin while my mother and her fiancé's were thicker) and all were cooked as we asked. We've lived in Conway for 5 years. My husband and I have eaten almost every "all you can eat" restaurants here. Plus probably 50 or more other ones. This was the most delicious meal . The bread and butter was fast arriving and wonderful. I had a bowl of French onion soup with lots of melted cheese in it. The bread was awesome dipped in the soup! My husband and I each got the sirloin steaks and shrimp either on the barbie or coconut shrimp. They were cooked perfectly and the steak was so tender. We couldn't find ANYTHING wrong with our meal. My husband had the carrot cake for dessert and the icing was sooo creamy. Our server was Melanie (I think) and she was so incredibly friendly and accommodating bringing anything we wanted. Even my husband's salad was wonderful. I forgot to mention the Aussie fries. So crispy and flavorful. I can't recommend this enough as it made me forget every place else we ate in the past 5 years. Overall not bad - Parking was easy and our initial greeting was very welcoming. It was four of us and they did a good job accommodating us because we were 4 very large men. The services was excellent, the food was very good and reasonably priced. I had chicken wings for starters and they were surprisingly very good. I had tapli coved with crab and a side of veggies for dinner. I tried one of the special beverages that was very tasty but lacked alcohol. My guest clearly enjoyed their food because none was left over. My bill was about $50 including starters and beverages so not bad. Well worth a visit and a quick friendly meal. First of all I don't want to give this visit a rating because I don't want to hurt their ratings. Recently 6/9/18 we dined out at outback & service was good but, the food was bad. At least my husbands cut of steak.. it was literally spoiled & he got food poisoning from the meal.. they did everything they could to help & apologized many times.. this visit will not stop us from going back since it is one of our favorite places to dine.. it was just bad on my husbands behalf.. good fresh quality meat is their top priority & they need to make sure it stays that way & another customer doesn't have to experience the same problem. Ordered a to go order the other night. Entered to pick it up and stood for15 minutes without any of the 3 girls there acknowledging me. I finally pushed my way in front of them and told her I was picking up my order. I paid and waited another 15 minutes. No apologies nothing. When my food came out she put it on the counter and back to her computer. I looked sure enough mine. I grabbed it and left. No thank you, nothing. It was an $80 order and that is how they treat you. the food here is great. the server was great. except the one girl who came up to the host stand before we got seated had the worst attitude towards their coworker. she needs to be put in her place for how she treats her fellow coworkers. after we got sat down I asked the server who the brunette lady was up front and she said she was the manager and that her name was Hannah. I told her that she is very rude and should not be treating her like that. I don't know about anyone else, but I would never let a manager talk to me like that. she must think her shit dont stink. I love the food but I'm never coming back to this location because if people like that work here than outback clearly doesn't care about their employees. She needs to be trained better. Prices have become outrageous. This is a steakhouse, not a fine-dining experience. I should have gone to another place, but my wife and I didn't expect to have to take out a second mortgage for a generic run-of-the-mill steak. Service was meh. Surprisingly good experience at this outback. I will set the stage by saying that I consider outback the top end of the mid-tier steak places. I like steak, it is probably my favorite meal of all time and I don't mind paying for a nice steak at an upscale joint. All this to say that I am picky about my steaks. Service was 5/5. Seated quickly (which was surprising as this place is usually packed and we had a table of 12. Waitress was fun, funny, and most importantly, tolerant of a large table of smartasses. Food. 4/5. We didn't do apps, went directly to meals. Orders to taken quickly and accurately and we all received our goods pretty quick. I had a ribeye and baked potato. Usually, i don't expect much from the steak (especially after my buddy at Sysco told me what they do to them), but this one was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. Ate here tonight with my wife. Myrtle Beach is very busy. We sat at the bar at 5:00, just before the place started to fill up. The bar staff was very friendly and attentive. I had a New York strip steak.. Karen had Tolopia with lump crab. Both meals were served promptly and as ordered. We have had our share of bad meals in more expensive restaurants in Myrtle Beach. Our meal was very good. I like Outback and Sam Sneads. U get what your order the prices are reasonable. I can be a grouch when I feel like I was ripped off... the food in these two places is consistent lye good. 1/15/2018... update... back to Outback. Horrible service We called 2 days ahead - a reservation for 12 at 5:45. We show up at 5:35 with a 95 year old and a 1 year old. And we see party after party (6,7) getting seated and to wait. 6pm and we are STILL waiting. We are told to wait for a table of 4 to stop eating. Your lack of planning is now our emergency. Staff then proceeds to tell us we can only order drinks and wait to order baby food. What's wrong with this outback? I've never had this experience at any other franchise. read more

Great service, different waiters took turns bringing us drinks, appetizers and our meal. They worked together well which tells me there's strong management at this location. You would think a chain restaurant by the beach would be mediocre at best but this one excelled, food was brought promptly. We never saw the bottoms of our glasses and the entire meal was delicious.
