Had a great experience here. They quoted us a 20 minute wait and it was no more than 10 minutes. That's a plus. The food was delicious. I ordered the salmon with Brussels sprouts and sweet potato. I didn't leave a bite on the plate it was so good. There was a little too much butter on the sweet potato but not a good reason to lower their rating. The filet was gone lickity split. My wife loves her steak and potatoes. The server was friendly and quick with the service. Fresh bread and you have is coming back again. It was an impulse decision to visit here and I'm glad we did. Only issue is that the bathroom was not clean or tidy. Needs some work there. read more

Outback is probably my favorite larger chain. Each one I've had the pleasure of dining in, always charms me with its wooden interiors and bathroom signs demarcating a room for a "Sheila" or a "Bloke". There's still a heartbeat of life, and a sense of personality in an Outback which can seem lost in other big chain restaurants. This Outback is close to the Ontario Airport and convention centers, which I find also helps raise quality of restaurant establishments nearby - this Outback being no exception. My husband and I come here on date nights every once in awhile and always leave happy and stuffed! Our most recent visit we ordered the quintessential Bloomin' Onion which is just a melody of good texture and flavours straight out of the oven along with the complimentary brown bread with butter - always warmed first. We followed it with a bone-in ribeye and loaded mash and over-the-top Brussels sprouts. The only reason I docked a star is that the Brussels sprouts were not worth the premium charge and I hope it's noticed by the establishment and other patrons. They came in at a hefty 1,010 calories and were presented beautifully, but man was the taste and texture off on these. There is no worthwhile reason you should intake these Brussels sprouts for this calorie count or pay extra - in my humble opinion. Other than that we had great service, food and ambiance. Their bone-in ribeye is our favorite and better than some I've had at "fancier" locales around town. Always a crisp crust and delicious fatty bits about it. The restaurant was super busy but as soon as she greeted us and we told her about our day and how thirsty/ hungry we were- she was on it! The service was good. The food was ok. Like everywhere the prices have gone up. Not to bad for what you get, but not like we would make this a regular stop. The steak I had was good. We had a wonderful experience at this location. Slightly busy for a Tuesday evening, but seated right away. Friendly service. Quick refills. We started with the Bloomin' shrimp app. I ordered the Bloomin fried chicken sandwich. Outback needs to Bloomin everything!!! Sooo good! The rest of my party ordered ribs with a baked potato and broccoli and a cheeseburger. Ribs were fall-off-the-bone. The broccoli was cooked to perfection, not too tender and not undercooked! Woah! To be completely transparent I was a bit skeptical on coming back here because our last visit wasn't pleasant but it looks as if things have changed for the better! We ordered a blooming onion, filet mignon (medium) w a grilled lobster tail, sirloin (medium well) w coconut shrimp, Cesar salad, kids Mac and cheese w fries, and a bottle of riesling. First off the steaks were cooked to perfection as requested! Well seasoned and the filet mignon melted in my mouth literally so good! Lobster tail was great loved how they gave the option to either steam the tail or grill it this time around! I want to say in my lifetime this is my 3rd time visiting an Outback Steakhouse and I must say that this is one of the best restaurant experiences I have had. The restaurant was fairly busy on the weekend before Christmas but we were seated rather quickly. From the bread to the main entree to dessert everything was absolutely delicious. The food was so tasty I was chewing so fast to swallow what was in my mouth so I can take another bite. I had the ribeye my husband the pork chops. The meat was so tender, omg my lobster tail melted in my mouth like butter. Both myself and husbands tastebuds were dancing in our mouths because the food just tasted so good. Have you ever eaten something and couldn't wait to taste it again because it taste so good, well this was our experience. Not only was the food delicious, the service was incredible. Everyone was friendly and attentive. I was impressed and would recommend this Outback to everyone. I came into outback today with my family to celebrate a birthday , we love outback & are frequent costumers, I will never go back to outback in Ontario again , our server from the beginning wasn't very nice she definitely was not friendly or kind, I have a daughter who is mixed why I have to even mention that at all in the year 2025 is beyond me but we had a big party & when she brought out my daughters food she asked who's food it was, I pointed to my daughter & before I could say anything she said " the darrr one I mean the one with the bun " she definitely caught herself & walked away quickly , I know she was trying to say " the dark one" that's insane, unacceptable & wrong , I had the biggest knot in my throat & couldn't help but cry. I had to look away from my family & try to keep it together for the sake of my own child not to see me upset but it was the absolute worse experience I've ever had in my life , as a mother I was triggered & in disbelief , I hope nobody else has to deal with this server I couldn't even look at her. I did ask for a manager who did apologize & was extremely understanding of my feelings & I am grateful that he took accountability for this situation but I will not place myself or family in a setting that's uncomfortable , I really hope she had some type of repercussion for her actions. read more

Just left this location and let me tell you, it was a rather unsettling experience. We got there and put our name down for a table for 4, a bit busy and was told 25 min wait, we waited 6 mins before our table was ready. Upon our arrival, a couple with a child around 5 yrs old and their friend who had 3 children were there waiting before us, who knows how long they had been waiting. The couple with the one child around the age of 5 had a child who was upset, crying/perhaps hungry, not sure,but she was uneasy. I felt for the parents because they kept looking around to see if guests were staring at them and their child who was having somewhat of a meltdown. I have children myself and really felt for them. Mind you, my family and I were sat after 6mins or so, the waitress took our order, food arrived and the couple was STILL waiting to be sat. In total they needed a table for 7, 4 kids, 3 adults. I kept looking around to see if there were any tables available, I saw one that was available but I thought maybe it wasn't big enough for their party. After almost finishing my meal, I couldn't take it anymore, not that the child crying and screaming was bothering me AT ALL, but at the fact that I felt like they were being ignored purposely. I got up and asked the mom why they were waiting so long, her reply, "the host said they are waiting for a party to leave to seat us". I thought to myself, "okay, they are probably being sat somewhere on the other side where I can not see". I was about to pay the bill when I look over to see that they are finally being sat, GUESS WHERE?! The table that had been unoccupied the entire time I was there, the one I thought wouldn't fit their party. I was furious, right when I was going to ask for a manger, the fire alarm goes off, and the manager can't seem to disarm it. The food was okay, the service was great but the way they treated that couple and their child really really bothered me! I don't know if their child was on the spectrum or just having a bad day but to make this family and their child wait almost 45 mins, while they watched parties larger than theirs get seated ahead of them, really upset me. I won't go there again. It was a disgusting act on their part to treat someone as if they were less than, when they were just trying to eat out with their child! We came here for a friends birthday so we had a large group. Our food orders were taken promptly and so were our drink orders. The only problem here was that our food came out before our drinks. We waited a bit and reminded the waiter. He came back with our drinks but for the mixed drinks most of them were poorly made. Let me start this off by saying that my wife and I had just gone to our local Texas Roadhouse, where the steak was awful. It really tempered by expectations. This Outback is everything an Outback should be. Their blonde draft beer was so drinkable, their old fashioned was very sweet--but delicious. Our blooming onion absolutely hit the spot. We both got the bone-in rib eye. Mine, medium rare. My wife's, medium. They were both cooked as expected, something, Texas Roadhouse did not achieve. The mashed potatoes & fries were enjoyable. The wait staff was fantastic, as was the manager (I assume) who came to greet our table and check in. It wasn't too loud, no obnoxious birthday songs every 4 minutes (like, you guessed it, Texas Roadhouse). The astros v rangers game was on quietly, which was passively nice. This is everything you hope an Outback would be. If you're looking for a chain steakhouse where you can get a decent cut of meat cooked competently, this is the only place I know of in the area. You won't find a better steak for these prices in the IE. I will be back, unlike Texas Roadhouse. I recommend you check it out if you're looking for red meat outside of a nice and specialized steakhouse. That said--if you want the best steak in the IE, regardless of price, you're looking for The Sycamore. read more

Let me first tell you that I loved the creamy onion soup so much that I started a Facebook page called bring back creamy onion soup from Outback. I am very disappointed in this Outback location. I live right next to the one in Upland. When I saw that Outback brought back creamy onion soup, I called Upland a few times to make sure they had it and they said no every time. I checked Ontario and you could order it online so I called to make sure. They said they had the soup so we ran over that night for dinner. When we got there they did not have it. I get it, things like this happen sometimes. I tried a few more times and I always called before. You could order it and whoever answered the phone said they had it. Every time we get there the waiter said they don't have it. I would hate to call this false advertisement but I would have never visited this location if it wasn't for you advertising that you have this soup. Even my followers in my group agree it's not fair to claim you have the soup to lure people in, just to tell them you don't have it. Please update your website, train your staff, and make sure people know you don't have creamy onion soup. Or just do the right thing and bring back the soup! read more
