First a huge shout out to our server Erick R ... he was an absolute Rockstar. It was my first visit to this restaurant, Erick was on his " A " game. He had suggestions, tips, answered questions like a pro ... Definitely Going Back!! As for the food ... the Blooming Onion was decent, the breading is bland and its greasier than I would have liked, the dipping sauce though WOW !!! I ordered the steak and chicken combo, and ya'll when I say their broiler and grill people have some serious skills, Temps were perfect, seasonings were on point; just saying that when you can cut your steak with your fork ... just excellence in execution. My 1 negative was the Mac n cheese, sadly it is so dense, so overly cheese ladden while the noodles were severely over cooked. It was a mouthful of glue. On to my wife's meal; she ordered the steak salad. Wow she was so happy; great portion size, steak cooked and sliced beautifully, plenty of dressing. My wife was extremely pleased, and as the saying goes " happy wife, happy life" .... thank you Outback for a Father's Day to remember. I'm not sure where to begin. It's hard to put into words the experience my wife and I have had at this Black Angus restaurant, so I'll just explain in some detail what we experienced. Although we have eaten at this Black Angus in the past, this was the first time we had Deno, as our server. His professional, friendly, and courteous service was, "excellent". He knew the menu very well, and we never had to wait to have any of our requests filled. His friendly and hospitable demeanor was a real pleasure. Came here at about 830pm and sat at the bar. We were asked to move because there was no server for that area, but there were tons of people sitting. Hostess tried to take our order because we asked her to. 20 mins later the server came over with an attitude and was super rude and said the hostess who took our order did it all wrong and our order wasn't even put in. Then a Manager came and apologized we told her that the hostess was nicer and more professional than the server. You could tell the hostess was upset and crying and went into the restroom. I went in after her and gave her $100 tip because she got yelled at by some server whose job just isn't that serious or important because we asked her to. We have been going to this Black Angus since we started dating 12 years ago. Bread is always warm and delicious. Steaks are cooked perfectly nice and juicy. Love their Camp fire special we eat there and always have leftovers for next day. All at reasonable price. For the past few years we get the same waiter his name is Luis. He always takes care of us. Makes sure we don't run out of drinks and bread. We got married 1 1/2 yr ago and we took our immediate family there for dinner. My sister had a gift card for $250.00, and she invited my son & I out to eat here today. My gosh I don't know why we haven't eaten here, but we all were very impressed with the service & quality of food. Our waitress was Monica N. She was a very good waitress, we liked her a lot. Right away Monica brought us two loaves of this warm brown bread with butter, delish. We started out with an appetizer Blooming fried shrimp, yum so good. Definitely suggest if you like fried shrimp. It came with a really good sauce too. For our entree's I had sirloin w/coconut fried shrimp with mashed potatoes. It was very good!! My sister had the Ribeye with baked potato. She said it was so tender, she hadn't had a good steak like that in a long time. And my son had the pasta with shrimp & steak, he was very impressed on how good it was. Ohh, we also had garden salad for our sides and my son had french onion soup. We were all pretty stuffed but I had to order dessert, I forgot to take a pic though. My fault, I ordered the thunder dessert, I was supposed to order the Thunder & Lightning, it was my error. However, the dessert was very good still. Next time I go I'll order the correct one. Went for the $20 steak and lobster. I was seated almost instantly and the service was so fast my food was out it seemed like 5 minutes after I ordered, they really took care of me coming to the table multiple times to make sure the food was good. A few things went wrong with my order. First it was a curbside pickup arrived on time, waited 5 mins and no one came out. So I went inside, the girl who gave me my food, guessing she was doing the curbside was on her phone. I didn't check my bag to make sure everything was in there before leaving since I was already frustrated. I arrived home to serve the food and I'm missing 3 sides . One which I paid extra for . So now I had split what I did get with 3 people one which was his bday. I called that same night as soon as I realized I was missing those items (fries, broccoli and asparagus) i spoke to the manage AD or JD he said he would send me a voucher for the missing items. Seems better to eat at table, but up to your discretion. Great place for an early dinner before the crowds, just got make sure you get there early by 4:00-4:30. The food is always good and service is very friendly. One thing I noticed is the waiting could be slow at times and it's probably due on not having enough help. Aside from this I think management is doing a great job running this restaurant. We were a party of three, myself, my husband and my 76 year old mother. The hostess was going to seat us at a round table for 6. Normally I wouldn't have minded, but my mom is older and handicapped and is more comfortable in a booth. I asked nicely if the hostess would be able to seat us at one of the two open booths. She was sweet and agreed to sit us in one of them. As we were looking at the menu, one of the gentlemen waitstaff walked by our booth and very loudly proclaimed that "no one was going to do his girl dirty like that" and for her to keep trying to seat people at that table. He stood over us and said it so loud that I knew he meant it for us. I was confused because it surely didn't seem like a big deal to the hostess. I ignored his passive aggressive comments. After the third mention of it, I had enough and went to walk out. I asked the manager what the issue was and he seemed confused. As I was explaining this nonsense to him, the same imp of a waiter continued on with his rant, becoming more aggressive. I'm not sure if he was drunk or mentally ill. The manager asked us to stay as this dude was yelling and then yelled at my mother. The manager stood there and allowed this abuse to continue. His complacency made him complicit to the abuse.
