Tasteless n under cooked sirloin steak

Such a huge disappointment. Order my favorite outback sirloin well done. Came out pink n bloody. The worst part was it had NO taste. I will not come back to this location ever again.

    Raspberry butter!!

The stakes are always cooked perfect! And our server made it a wonderful experience. Tamara Is the best! She is always there when you need something for our food. She is fast and very friendly. A new level of customer service! If you go to outback, make sure you ask for the raspberry butter. It's to die for! Restaurant is very clean. Bathrooms are always really clean. No complaints at all about this location!

Side portion of fries was like half what it should be.

My husband and I just recently had a baby and were gifted a DoorDash giftcard so we didn't have to worry about cooking for one night with a newborn. We chose Outback because we were craving something hearty after being in the hospital. This was the worst most disappointing meal we've ever had from takeout. For starters, we ordered $70 worth of food!!! As a side, we chose fries with one of our steaks, and we got like 5 of them total. What kind of portion is that? Then, our steaks that were supposed to be MEDIUM were practically well done. I understand with transportation they would have cooked a little more with resting but all the way well done??? Terrible. Here's my favorite part, the "6 oz" sirloin we received was actually 3.8 Oz thanks to our scale we measured it on. WHAT A RIP OFF. We will be choosing a different restaurant with better quality portions and food for our next delivery meal. It's really sad we wasted a gift card on this tonight.

    Rib Eye
    Lisa B.

My husband and I went to get some prime rib, sadly there not serving prime rib anymore it's off the menu. PLEASE BRING OT BACK!!! Ok our server Haddy she was great! Made sure our ice tea was full checked in on us during our meal. She recommended the rib eye and it was cook just right. The seasoning was a bit much, she even told them lightly on it. My husband had the ribs and he said they were awesome meat fell off the bone. We both were surprised to see how empty the restaurant was, but I believe due to no prime rib at 4 pm anymore The restaurant could use a pick me up in the decor for better ambiance. When we arrived we waited for the host and informed him we had a 10:15 reservation. Despite there being multiple empty tables, he informed us we would not be able to be seated until closer to our reservation which threw me off. We were seated around our reservation time and given some time to look at the menu. Our server was very helpful and kept checking in on us to see if we had any questions or if we were ready to order. She did take the time to inform us that we should order before a big party as our meal would take longer if we waited. We ordered buttermilk biscuits to share and I ordered the arrival of the sun (two eggs your way, bacon or sausage, potatoes, and country bread). The buttermilk biscuits were brought to us first and were 2 large fluffy biscuits served with butter and jam. The butter was good quality and jam was made in house, but was slightly runny, but overall a delicious combo. The arrival of the sun arrived shortly after and was a large portion. The potatoes were my personal favorite, seasoned and crispy! Wood ash rye is in a hotel in downtown St. George. The hotel itself has valet parking that is $22. However, if you arrive early enough you are able to find parking on the street, just make sure you look out for any parking signs. The inside of wood ash rye is small, but they offer an outside bar, several large tables in the center, and booths off to the side. In addition, they have a bar just outside the restaurant. They did have a sign posted that dogs are welcome on the patio which is a plus! -1 star for service for reservation time and empty tables

It definitely did not disappoint! I had a bit of a hard time finding this place as it's in an industrial area and kind of hiding, but it was worth the journey. For my drink, I ordered the blackberry smash, which was a mule with a fruity twist. It was delicious and much stronger than other drinks I've had in this area. For my meal, I went with the highly-acclaimed fish and chips, which did indeed live up to their hype. The fish was perfectly fried and the fries had a good bite to them. I also really enjoyed the fry sauce that tagged along with the dish. Our server was also wonderful and made helpful suggestions throughout the meal. This was a great experience and I would definitely return for future meals when I'm in the area!

Ok, for the food, the fried pickles were the best thing we had, get those. Light and crispy batter with a decently thick pickle chip inside, really good. The food, fish and chips, spicy reuben, chicken sandwich, and bbq wings. Fish and chips, decent enough, nothing to write home about, delicate batter, great flavor. Spicy Reuben...what a trainwreck, the meat was stringy and annoying to eat. The sauerkraut was sweet? Just terrible. The bbq wings were as described, so not bad. The chicken sandwich was not great either, chicken was dry and kind of hard to eat. The garlic parm fries though? Amazing. Get those as your side. We also had the Guavala and the Hef, both were really good and a steal at $6 each. They also have a small store front with no prices, frustrating. Overall, won't be back again, maybe we just came on a bad day, but once was enough.

We adore slipping away for lunch and settling onto the patio, where the world softens--shade drapes gently overhead, birds sing as if they've been hired just for the occasion, and time... well, time slows down enough to breathe. The service is nothing short of immaculate--attentive in that quiet, effortless way that makes you feel seen without ever being interrupted. And the food... oh, the food. The bacon-wrapped dates must have been crafted in heaven... or perhaps meant for the gods and somehow gifted to us. The tuna melt was so transcendent I found myself wondering if I had ever truly tasted tuna before... or if I had just been living a lesser version of the experience all along. And the beef bourguignon... my heavens. It was as if your grandmother--if she were also a five-star chef--had been waiting for you, simmering something rich and soulful to welcome you back after a long journey. Even the tea felt royal... and the mocktails were so delightful, so thoughtfully made, that not once did we miss the alcohol. The Painted Pony isn't just a meal... it's a return.

Tucked into the Tower Building, this New American restaurant nails the Southwestern-meets-fine-dining vibe: intimate indoor seating with contemporary regional art, fresh flowers, and soft lighting, plus a charming patio for when the weather cooperates. It feels romantic and relaxed without being stuffy--perfect for date night or a special occasion while visiting southern Utah.c91b9be2267e Service was attentive and friendly without hovering. Our server knew the menu well and made solid wine recommendations (they've got a nice list, and no-corkage Mondays are a nice touch if you BYO from a Utah store). Portions are generous for the price point--definitely not the tiny-plate nonsense you sometimes get at fine-dining spots. We started with the carrot jalapeño soup (bright, flavorful, and a nice kick) and the baked brie, which was rich and perfectly paired with the seasonal chutney and crostini. For mains, the bone-in pork chop and the hanger steak were highlights--well-cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor from the fresh ingredients and thoughtful sauces. The sides (mac & cheese and haricot verts) were solid too. We finished with the key lime pie, which was a bright, creamy winner. One note, though: pass on the crab cakes. They're a menu staple (around $16, served with something like pomegranate salsa or poblano aioli depending on the season), but ours were mostly filler with a noticeably fishy taste. Not worth the spot on the table when there are so many stronger starters and entrées.781e4d Overall, we'd happily return to The Painted Pony. It's one of the better fine-dining options in St. George--great atmosphere, strong service, and mostly excellent food at reasonable prices for what you get. Just skip the crab cakes and you'll have a winner of a meal. 4/5 stars. Recommended for visitors and locals alike. Reservations advised, especially on weekends.

This doesn't always mean great but we wanted to give it a try and we are glad we did. We started with escagot. They were very large and extremely tender. So many times a place will smother them with cheese and broil them to rubber. Not here. The garlic was fresh and not overpowering. The snails were definitely the star. One nice touch was the spoon they provided to scoop the garlic and butter onto the provided crustini. My wife ordered the Hungarian Tenderloin Goulash with Goat Cheese Spatzel. She describes the meal as "traditionally clean. All the flavors hit the right notes." I was between several choices. One was the Squid Ink Fruti De Mar. This dish restored my faith in the excellence Squid Ink pasta can be. Having traveled extensively globally, I can truly say I have never had better. The depth of flavor of the pasta grew with each additional bite. Then the seafood - it was evident that each type was cooked separately resulting in each being cooked tonight their optimum perfection. No over or undercooked here. Then the sauce. Not overpowering or over indulgent. Perfect. There is only one thing I will ding this restaurant on - its the wine list and wine prices. The list is lacking and could be much better to compliment to food. The prices for the wine don't match the value. Overall 9.8 out of 10. We will recommend ARAGOSTA and we will return.

My sweet daughter got my hubs a gift card for his past bday, so it was another added reason for our pit stop. Despite staying 45ish mins away in Cedar City, our fam made the mini trek to St. George after a long day of fun in the snow. This popular Texas-themed steakhouse chain location is conveniently located right off the 15 freeway. Parking was plenty. Yelp PRO TIP: Do join the website's waitlist, as dinner time can get pretty crowded & they don't do rezos. We joined prior to leaving our hotel in Cedar City. The wait said 35-45 mins, which was perfect because we got there in about that time. Upon check-in, we only had to wait about another 10 mins, before being seated. The restaurant decor is something you would have to see for yourself. Lol It's designed to mimic rowdy roadhouses of the past, with vibes of part dive bar, part restaurant, but all rustic charm. Jake, our server was very friendly and attentive. He did forget our bread refill request a few times, but the place was pretty packed, so I'm sure he had a lot of tables to wait on. He did take good care of us, nonetheless. The hype about the warm, fresh-baked, sweet, and fluffy rolls served w/ their signature honey cinnamon butter was for reals cuz we couldn't stop eating it! The whole fam devoured them & we kept asking for more!!! A total better version of Lucille's bread & butter, for sure. We got the Cactus Blossom starter, which was super good. Think onion rings but with a blossom aesthetic instead. It wasn't oily at all & super crispy. The Cajun dipping sauce was the perfect accompaniment. Next up, since the portions are pretty epic & plentiful, my daughter and I shared a 16 oz hand cut sirloin (medium rare of course..cuz obvi that's the only way to eat steak), topped w/ sautéed mushrooms & onions and loaded sweet potato & buttered corn sides. My hubs & son each got a sirloin & grilled shrimp combo (both med rare) topped w/ sautéed mushrooms and buttered corn & mashed potatoes sides (for my big eater son) & Texas red chili & salad (for the hubs). Everyone loved their food. The steak was cooked perfectly, IMO. The shrimp was a good size & flavorful. The corn was buttery & sweet. And my loaded sweet potato reminded me of Thanksgiving. I just had to remove the massive pile of marshmallows bc it got too sweet for me, but the sweet potato was perfect w/ the butter and cinnamony/caramel flavor. To wash everything down, I ordered the strawberry cucumber fizz mocktail which was super refreshing and yummy. All in all, a GREAT experience and a fam fav. We will surely be back every year on our snow road ventures. RxFoodie recommended!!!
