    The Bloomin' Burger®*

Came here to eat a solo dinner about 5 on a Friday. It wasn't too crowded and I was seated in the bar area almost immediately. I hadn't been here in a while and decided to get the 3 course meal. I got a Caesar salad and loaded potato soup. For my entree I got the bloomin onion burger. The salad and soup were pretty good. The burger was ok. I had cheesecake with raspberry sauce for dessert and this was all for $16 before tip! I thought that was a pretty good deal. Service was good and I would come back.

Came in tonight to watch the last quarter if the Dolphin game. We took a seat at the bar and met with our favorite bartender, Bill, who showed us the cocktail menu. I ordered Blackberry Martini for $7.00 and my husband had Prosecco Peach Schnapps. Both were very good but after drinking mine I finished off the Peach cocktail. Due to Christmas week it was oddly busy for a Sunday night. Dolphins won and I went to bed.

I really like Outback. We stopped here for a quick dinner and quick did not happen. We waited almost 45 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We didn't order anything crazy just a burger and steak dinner. Our server was nice and checked on us but we were really hungry. And they weren't crazy crowded. It was 3:00 in the afternoon. It started off not great as some of my silverware was not clean and a napkin was dirty. The napkins are black too. So I didn't care for that. The food was good and cooked well so I will give high marks for that. We had asked for a water refill and that took a long time as well. I love fun, lively music but it was really loud and hard to hear our conversations.

We sat at the bar and were greeted by super friendly bartenders, Mariah and Bill, who enhanced our Outback experience. On this food journey, I ordered the limited time deal of an 18oz Bone-In Ribeye with Bourbon Onion for $33.99. It was crazy juicy good with a side appetizer of the Sweet Siracha Chicken Bites for $7.99 which was spicy but no heat. And cant forget the FREE unlimited honey wheat bread and whipped butter. Watched the NBA Heat destroy the Trail Blazers. Austrailian down under atmosphere. The mens bathroom needed some attention..Will return to this location for the steaks. 4.2 stars here.

Not much of a fan of this restaurant chain but my husband is, so I'm always skeptical every time I step foot into one of these restaurants, BUT....this one was superb..!!! The management team was on top of the food's quality and presentation and the serving staff took special care of each of his/her tables and guests with welcoming hospitality, courteous grace, and utmost professionalism. Our server, Mariah (like the singer), was incredible, friendly, and overall, a joy having her take care of us. From the cheese fries to the Outback special steaks, the food was served promptly and came out as ordered....all was delicious! Overall, pleasantly surprised and incredibly happy...! It is a bit of a distance for us but will happily travel to this location.

I was so pleased on my visit to the Davie restaurant the previous weekend, that I tried out the newer one in Sunrise, on the outskirts of Sawgrass Mills. The parking area up front is a bit misleading because it seems the restaurant was packed but it actually wasn't; and they have plenty of parking out back. The ambiance was a balanced one with a couple of parties on each side of the restaurant and a few folks at the bar watching the games. It was another perfect experience with the Outbacker Burger this time and my customary Top Shelf 'Rita! Bill and Richard were my tag-team servers and they were friendly but not talkative, which is exactly what you want when watching a game. Altogether, it's another great Outback location that I both recommend and will return to!

    NEW Chimichurri Filet*

We sat at the bar to have a quick dinner and our bartender/server was Bill. Bill was very professional and kind and made sure to check in on us very often. We chose the $8 margaritas which were not bad at all! The ambiance was nice and laidback and could serve for a date night or family dinner night. I chose the new chimichurri filet that came with the fried carrot bunch that i believe was seasoned the same way as the bloomin onion. The brussel sprouts were good but i only wish they were crispier, they seem a little soggy. The food was all flavored decently; my only complaint was that it took an hour for my food to come out and the restaurant wasn't so packed at the time i had ordered. Bill made sure to keep running back to the kitchen to see when our food would be ready and i appreciate his effort in getting us our food as soon as possible!

We were on our way back from our optometrist appointment and were starving. This place has been opened for a while and we never tried it. It was a Saturday afternoon and it was dead, which was great for a first time experience. We decided to sit at the bar, which is usually our preference. It was dark in there but it was daylight and the way the building is, it was like that with the previous restaurant as well. We were greeted shortly after sitting and offered menus. I decided on mimosas since it was a Saturday. Hubs went with a beer. As we were browsing the menu, we were struggling to decide on what to order so we ordered several items. I ordered the wedge salad and Brussel sprouts to start. Omg the Brussel Sprouts were so good! The wedge was tasty. I ordered a filet with bleu cheese and it was good. It was cooked the way I ordered. We enjoyed our food and definitely were not hungry when we left. I feel like the prices were a little steep but more reasonable than many other places. The place was clean and the bartender that served us was attentive.

Both visits were for birthdays---the first was mine, when I happened to mention to our server that we were celebrating my birthday and she helped make the experience great. She then exclaimed, "You should have told me it was your birthday! We'll give you a dessert. Would you like to take it home?" Which I did, and the Seven Layer Chocolate Cake was thoroughly enjoyed for breakfast on two different days. I still can't get over the fudge layers in the sponge sandwiched by a light, creamy chocolate mousse. The plated cake was much cuter and better dressed with surrounding raspberry sauce instead of it being in a takeout cup, but the divine tastes of that cake are unchanged. Seeing that the majority of their locations are in the north, with the southernmost locations before Florida being Virginia and South Carolina, I feel lucky that we have a location in South Florida (and a second in Boca Raton). The hostesses are friendly, as well as the servers, and each one asks about allergies in the party. I saw on their website that they have a commitment to accommodating food allergies and a protocol for communicating allergies to the staff and kitchen. The most recent visit started with us repeating allergies to our server after telling our hostess, as he wasn't informed of them. It never hurts to confirm that everyone is on the same page but it was a little odd. I'm not sure what those purple allergy cards are supposed to do if they're not written on. However, like I mentioned, they are really serious about food allergies. When we were placing orders, our server would tell us whether there were allergens in the dishes we mentioned. Our server during my first visit even went back to the kitchen to check whether there were eggs in a sauce that were in one of the dishes we were interested in, without being asked. The inside is clean, beautiful and well lit, and the bar is spacious with plenty of screens if you're able to make it in for their happy hour at the bar from 3-6 PM on Mondays-Fridays. We had the guacamole and chips ($9), which had a surprisingly generous portion of genuine guacamole to the point where we ate all of the white and blue tortilla chips that came with it. I asked our bartender if we could get more chips by any chance, and another bartender heard and went straight to the kitchen and came out with a bowl of warmed tortilla chips. I had an Old Fashioned, which was slightly sweeter than I'm used to, but still having great citrus aromas. I recommend having a cocktail on happy hour as they are typically $15-17 on the regular menu while they are $10 during happy hour. For dinner during my second visit, we were seated in a lounge appearing area to the left of the entrance with long couches for the booth seats and an unfinished cut of wood table. Let me tell you about the food before I run out of space! Bread service: I know it's weird to have to pay for bread, but that's the restaurant world we live in. It's worth the $5 to get warm, fluffy bread dressed with everything seasoning and coming with herbed butter, pesto and an olive tapenade, all a choose-your-own-bread-adventure sampler. You can tell nothing on the plate came out of a jar. Philly cheesesteak rolls: Everyone can eat all 3 of the rolls that come in this dish along with the crispy onion rings that come on top of them. Resist the urge and share the tender beef and gooey cheese inside of these rolls. NY strip: Tender, well grilled and seasoned, accompanied by tasty green beans and mashed potatoes made with just the right amount of butter where you taste more potato than butter or cream. Crab crusted haddock: A generous portion of flaky, slightly buttery haddock with an aromatic crab cake on top. We loved the jasmine rice that came with it, from the degree of cooked to a little oil covering. Lobster roll: It was a summer limited item until August 31, and I'm sorry to say it was perfectly buttered, toasted and brimming with plump lobster meat. You were able to get it cold with a cole slaw, but a hot roll is definitely the move. Did I convince you to go try their food? If not, read this again. I'll see you there.

We moved to Georgia about a year and a half ago, which was a great move for us and we have truly loved our new home and hood, but the only thing we don't have in our new area is good Argentinian food. That's why when we got to town, we knew we were going to look specifically for a good churrasco. We discovered Alta Vaca Grill on Yelp near our airbnb and had it on our first night. Normally, hubby and I would split a steak but on this visit we each got our own and cleaned our plates. Alta Vaca definitely hit the spot! We each had a churrasco cooked medium with fries for me and rice for my husband. Every bite was music to my tastebuds! We loved it so much that when making dinner plans with friends a couple days later and the night before our flight back home, we knew we wanted to return to Alta Vaca one last time before leaving. I made a reservation for 8 and I'm glad I did because the space inside is somewhat limited and they were slammed. Despite the place being jam packed and us being a large party, our server was incredible as was their entire staff. Our food came quickly and tasted just as divine as the first visit. I ordered the churrasco again but this time with potato salad instead of fries. I asked if the potato salad was vinegary because I tend to be picky about those, but I was assured that if I didn't like it, I could switch it to something else after. This was great to know but not necessary as I ended up loving it along with the delicious steak. I savored every bite and lamented at the fact that I could not take the whole place home with me as I was not ready to let go. If we had Alta Vaca Grill near our new home, I would be there at least weekly without question. Amazing service with mouthwatering food and reasonable prices makes this an easy 5-star rating in my book. If we are ever in the area again, returning will be high on the priority list. If you are lucky enough to live nearby and haven't tried them yet, I suggest you run, not walk there, sooner rather than later because you will not be disappointed.

I don't know if it's standard practice. From the looks of what would be the bar, I assume there is no liquor license. Many bottles of wine and limited beer options and no liquor bottles. The waiter said the owner doesn't serve cocktails tonight. ‍‍ The ice machine was broken. For the prices on menu items, there's no way that's acceptable. They could have brought in bags of ice, and we would have never known. We had no ice to go with our water and coke, and the beer was barely cool. Finally, we see bags of ice brought in and wasn't offered any. ‍‍ Tomahawk steak medium well was good, but I needed a little more seasoning. Mash potatoes tasted like freshly smashed potatoes and needed a little salt and butter, and the oyster mushrooms were a bit chewy with a charred taste. 3 Lamb chops were serves medium rare so it was requested to be well done then it was good, the spinach was bitter with no flavor and the rice tasted old as it was leftovers from previous day or days. Rice didn't taste freshly cooked at all. Bone in Ribeye medium rare was good with a Cesar salad that tasted strange. The Cesar dressing tasted like a blue cheese mixed with ranch and a vinegar. I don't know it just wasn't a good Ceasars dressing, and it was iceberg lettuce, not romaine. Overall, they prepared good steaks and good lamb chops, but they need to step it up on the sides. For the price of steak, they need to give a better portion and more than 3 lamb chops. For the quality of food it's an overpriced restaurant. Though the digital menu is up with technology, it's not truly functional. It's not user-friendly for older persons, and it had a glitch. They should consider a QR code. Overall, the ambiance is nice. Hopefully I have a better experience with that.

We were a party of 30 and wanted to have a small space to ourselves so we would not bother others as we can be a bit rowdy. We were offered the outdoor area with the beautiful view of the pond. From the moment we walked in (with all of our balloons, etc) we were greeted and taken right to our area. Quickly thereafter, Alexia came outside to introduce herself and the other bartenders (I am sorry I forgot the others names). SHE WAS AMAZING!!!! The staff was so accommodating and took exceptional care of us. No matter what we needed, they were right there. The food was DELICIOUS and came out so quick. We did apps and cocktails and everything (especially the expresso martini) was excellent. I truly cannot say enough about Alexia!!!! She knows what she is doing! We are actually thinking about doing our Holiday party there this year because of how great she was :)

As soon as we sat down, we were given chips and salsa right away, which is always a plus. I ordered the mariachi nachos with grilled chicken, they were loaded, flavorful, and very satisfying. My only small critique is that there were a little too many beans for my liking, but that's just personal preference. Next time, I'll definitely ask for light on the beans because everything else was really good! Overall, great atmosphere, fast service, and delicious food. I'd absolutely come back!

People were damcing and having a good time. The main kitchen was closed so there was a limited menu. We ordered the small Picadas Nando for $57 which really didn't look small at all. I comes with a lot of meats. Mainly pork and one type of steak. I ate the steak because I don't eat pork. The steak was just ok. My party liked most of the meat options but they didnt like the blood sausage. It came with about 4 tostones and lot of potatoes. I think it should've had more tostones with all that meat. For drinks, I had the coco lemonade, my friends had flavored margaritas. They enjoyed their drinks. At first, it was very hot in there like the air was off. After about an hour i gelt it come one. They had a live singer which I loved. After he was done the dj came on and it pretty much turned into karaoke. Left around 2am. It was a cool night.
