Who doesn't love an Outback Steakhouse? I have been to this location at least 20 times over the years. It's perfect for any size party...there are large round tables to accommodate large groups, regular tables/booths for 4-6, and cute intimate booths that are just right for 2. There is often a wait, which says how good this restaurant is, but they do have "call ahead seating" where you can call & put your name on the list before you leave your home. (Great time saver!). If you don't call ahead and are faced with a wait; they have a decent sized bar where you can enjoy one of their signature cocktails or a nice cold beer before your table is ready. As for food; they have great steaks, and so many varieties, and sizes. They can also be ordered with an abundance of special sauces/toppings. Not in the mood for steak? They also serve delicious chicken dishes, seafood selections, and fantastic main dish salads. All their meals come with their fresh, warm, & yummy bread, and their signature Bloomin' Onion is a wonderful & tasty way to start any meal! (Plus they have other appetizers. On our recent visit we started off with the grilled shrimp on the Barbie. (We were looking for a change from the usual Bloomin Onion & it was good, but not as great as the Onion). I had the small sirloin with a side salad & mixed vegetables. The salad was great & the steak, just perfect. Vegetables were good; but nothing special. My husband had the salmon/shrimp off their special menu, and he said the salmon was fantastic! My mom & sister ordered ribeyes & they were both pleased with the flavors as well. I feel like this place is kind of new in the neighborhood, even though it it's a classic restaurant. I have been here three times since it opened. The place is clean and spacious. There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. The first time that I came, I came to have drinks after work. The first time I sat at the bar and had a blooming onion and a dirty martini. The second and third time that I came, I came for the lunch special. I had the shrimp one time and the second time I had the chicken. I love the sauces here. Since I come here on lunch break we haVe to be in and out and it is usually very easy and accommodating. Every time I have came the people have been really nice however, they are understaffed so they put a lot of pressure on the people that are there. We had a nice date night dinner here. The service was very good, and our food was very delicious. I don't know what it is about Outback salads, but they are seriously one of my top favorites. It is the one place I get excited about eating salad, because it always tastes so good even though it's so simple! My husband had the salmon with the asparagus, and I had the sirloin and grilled shrimp with a sweet potato. The sirloin was perfectly cooked medium rare just how I like it, and there were no fatty/chewy bites which made me even more happy! The seasoning and flavor was nice on all of our dishes. This new Outback is sure to please. I'm not sure if it's because it's one of the newest locations or if management is good but it has restored my love for Outback. I've gone once for lunch and tonight for a Birthday dinner and both times the food was perfect for both of us. We ordered the 6 and 8 ounce sirloins paired with lobster tails. Super good. The steamed tails were moist and cooked to perfection. The steaks had that traditional Outback seasoning that everyone loves and neither steak was overcooked. I ordered baked potato with the strawberry upgrade salad for my sides. The potato skin was crisp and potato was cooked light and fluffy. I have only been to this Outback twice, once for a sit down meal and once for take out. Both times, were pretty good. For the sit down meal we ordered drinks. Some of their specialty drinks are really good, especially the ones with bourbon and they have a full bar, wine and beer selection. As I remember, our server was good, the food was good, but all in all, not very memorable. For take out, they told me 25 minutes, they had my food in less than 20. It was hot. YAY read more

Next time I'll have to order that. My meal also came with a salad. My favorite appetizer was their volcano shrimp, it reminded me of a spicy mayo sauced up shrimp from a different establishment. I have been to this location quite a few times, but each time I come back I am even more disappointed. The restaurant is very dated and could greatly benefit from a facelift and a good scrubbing. I am not saying the place was filthy, I am simply saying it wasn't as clean as I had hoped it would be. I did the call ahead seating and asked to be seated at 6:30. They do not consider this a reservation but they place your name on a priority list. We did not wait at all and we were seated promptly at our requested time. So far so good. Our server was lacking in social skills. I don't mean to sound mean, but the girl didn't smile one time. Aside from forgetting my nephews Bloomin Onion, the service was okay. Not great, but okay. Maybe if she smiled or had somewhat of a personality, our dining experience would have been a little better and not so depressing. After reminding her about our missing Bloomin Onion ($7.99), she had it on our table within a few minutes. My nephew said it could have been a little hotter but he was starving and was happy to eat it the way it was served. I have been eating clean for three months, but I did taste two of the onion petals, dipped in the spicy sauce. I thought it looked better than it tasted and I thought the oil tasted old. Maybe it was just me, because my nephew enjoyed it and he had no issues and even took most of it home to enjoy for later. For my entrée I ordered the Simply Grilled Mahi ($15.49). My entire meal was just 375 calories! I asked for the mixed veggies to be steamed with no oil, butter or salt. The mix of broccoli, carrots and zucchini were very fresh and prepared perfectly. I ordered my fish without any oil, butter or salt and they did a good job preparing the Mahi. I was surprised that it tasted so good. My nephew ordered the Parmesan Herb Crusted Chicken ($13.49). He liked it but made a point to let me know that Longhorn makes a similar dish that is a lot tastier. Since I can easily eat clean at the Outback, I will return at some point. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back to this particular location simply because it was not as clean as it should be. To begin, the gentleman who answered the phone, took my order and assured me I would receive all the toppings that I ordered, he greeted me before I even stepped out of my car, addressing me by the name I shared with him over the phone. I ordered, drive there and then paid. I was presented with the check AND my coca-cola as ordered. I signed and in two minutes or less my meal was delivered with everything I ordered as well as utensils which I needed but had forgotten to request AND ready for this....."an extra chicken breast for the wait..apologies.". Wait?! Two minutes, maybe!? I waited for an hour at PSL the first night and on the second night I helped myself to my order. No Outbacker was there to see me take my bag and drive away. In Vero Beach, I had to pound on the door to get the girl there to look up from her cell phone screen. Once she saw me, she motioned no or closed and still wouldn't unlock the door until I showed her my cellphone page with my placed order info on it. I grew up in Vero. The door was not locked for her safety. Trust me. Sunrise FL has an outback that gets it and cares. If you have a chance to stop in, do. I believe you will be happily surprised. Been coming to this location for a few years now and like to try out other options and their ribs are actually one of my favorite ribs as well! On our post shopping hunger mission we decided to go to Outback by the mall. I'm a big fan of Outback steaks, especially the Victory filet. Though she doesn't eat steak, the bartender, D, made some great suggestions. In addition to his advice on food, his customer service skills were 2nd to none. D was very attentive to detail, consistently making sure we were happy with drinks, appetizers and meals. Being new to Florida, it's rare that you find such customer service in this geography. I am disappointed with the level of service as it pertains to placing delivery orders. I placed an order at approximately 7:05pm for two orders of Kookaburra wings for my Valentine's Day date night. The order was supposed to be deliver by 8:38pm. We waited patiently until 8:50pm. I called the store 8 times and I was hung up on 2 times. After the 8th call I was told that delivery were cancelled 2 hours ago @ 7pm, but your online system was still allowing orders. I asked the gentleman who answered the phone why wasn't I alerted as soon as I placed the order. I could have made other arrangements! He said, " It is busy, I have 4 other lines on hold and we would have called once the restaurant closed. The only way you can get your food is to come to the restaurant." Furthermore, I told him how unacceptable it was for the restaurant not to be staffed enough to deliver orders and to not have a plan I'm place to let people know delivery was unavailable! How can a corporation as large as this with an increase of delivery orders due to the pandemic not have a website fail safe that would allow stores to alert customers that delivery is unavailable? We order frequently from Outback because we all love the food and service. My last delivery, we received cold food an hour and a half after the quoted delivery window. We used our rewards to order and now we've lost that reward! How can this situation be avoided in the future? How is this service failure/api pain point addressed. How are you compensating the customers who placed order and had to call to find out delivery orders were not being made at the time their orders were placed online? I am disappointed! Poor service.
