    Favorite place for anniversary dinners

This has been a favorite place for us to come with our neighbors. We love the steak dinners and they love to get the margaritas. We have been here several times every time we leave full with leftovers the bread is super delicious. The staff is always really nice and timely. Very good at their jobs. I watch for specials in the local paper, but really I come here whether there's a coupon or not just because the food is really good. There's lots of space in the booth and plenty of time to stretch out and relax. The best part is the smile on everybody's face is when we're done. It's well worth the time to come Here.

I absolutely love the Outback, I've been coming to this establishment since I was a little kid. The restaurant itself is always clean with updated furniture on the inside and makes you feel very welcomed! When it comes to the service it's always spot on and very friendly although the last time I went my server, didn't care to be there, but that will not change my thought on the restaurant itself. When it comes to the food, the steaks are always cooked to perfect perfection. The chicken critters are unbelievably flavorful with the crust of the appetizer from the blooming onion. If you're looking for a great steak dinner, the outback is most definitely your place.

If you got a craving for steak, this is the place. Our server was friendly and got our order out in a timely manner. Great atmosphere with lots of seating.

The food was pretty good the chicken was a bit dry and a lot of the bloomin onion was just big pieces of fried stuff and not onion. The service was good and the server was very attentive, food was brought out in a timely manner. The environment is good the darker lighting makes the whole feeling of the restaurant very comfortable. The bread was great as usual thats a plus going to Outback every time!

was awesome. sat next to a guy and he sounded funny. food was filling. I saw a rat making deliveries to outside customers, other than that minor health code violation it was a great experience!

Our food was outstanding! We ordered a brie that had a fabulous fig sauce on top and then also we ordered a burger. That was absolutely incredible! My friends crème brûlée seemed fine. I definitely want to go back.

They enjoy their hanging lights cause in the single bathroom in the bar, they have 4 lamps and I was like wow. Service was great! Very informative and attentive. We never needed to look for her. We went with her suggestion to share everything and that made the experience more fun. I loved the truffle mac and cheese, fried Brie cubes, and the scallop yakitori. The scallops are cute little guys and very tasty. All the skewers were delicious. I think next time I would skip the beef cheek poutine. The beef cheek was the best part and the other ingredients were just so so. Dessert? We got the chocolate pot de creme and chocolate lava cake. If you're just getting one, I'd recommend the chocolate lava cake. There are a lot of fun elements on the plate, great for sharing!

I am disabled and had a hard time fighting somewhere to park. Once we got in, we were greeted by a very friendly staff. We were sat almost immediately, which was fantastic. The place was pretty full. I ordered Arnold Palmer to drink. It may not seem that big a deal but these were the most delicious I've ever had. For me the lemonade usually has a taste of a dirty mop bucket. But this was so clean and fresh. We started with an order of calamari. Very delicious. It was not chewy or Oil soaked. Very clean very tasty. We also ordered a cup of clam chowder, which was good. For dinner I had the shrimp and grits. It came with a sausage, pasty type stuff, but I had it delivered on the side. This was my best decision of the night. I wasn't crazy about the flavor. But the shrimp and grits were fantastic. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the grits were very flavorful. My wife had the Parmesan crusted Sole. It was so good. The outsides were crispy with the cheese, but the insides were moist and flaky. Absolutely delicious. It also came on a bed of rice. It was perfect. The only drawback to my evening was the fact the bus boys kept trying to take our food off the table before we were done eating. I had to stop one guy from taking a plate. They was still half full of food. The place is very loud if you're looking for a quiet evenings, probably is not a good choice. Very hard edge noisy. If you're in the area, this is probably an OK choice. The food service were good.

I like mine rare, she medium rare and they were both prepared perfectly, plus a side of sauteed mushrooms. We were both stuffed but eyed the tableside Banana's Foster. It was for two but our server offered to make half an order so we could each sample the goodness. The service was excellent; the tableside preparation was showmanship quality. Our check was $363 and we tipped him $100 for outstanding service. We don't normally dine like that but as our 34th, we lived it up with Blanton's, Rombauer, filet, sides and Banana's Foster. Yes, it was expensive but we know where we'll be for our 35th.

Most customers naturally assume a charge of that size is a gratuity for the staff who provided the service. Structuring it otherwise creates a misleading impression and lacks the transparency I expect from a high-end restaurant. I have no issue paying for excellent food, service, or even higher menu prices. What I object to is a pricing practice that appears designed to make customers believe they are rewarding the servers when they are not. Trust is a critical part of any fine dining experience, and this policy has completely eroded mine. Because of it, I will never return to El Gaucho.

I recommend the asada for two, though honestly it's probably enough for three. It's a lot, but everything is delicious. We ordered one of the daily specials, a beef tartare with arbol and peanut crunch, and were blown away. The best tartare I've ever had. For cocktails, we both had the ox blood and it surpassed expectations. Less sweet than we anticipated but that was a good thing. On our first visit we had a reservation and were seated at a table. After ordering, patrons are served a complimentary leek soup in an espresso size cup. I wish it were on the menu because it is one of the best things I've ever tasted. The flavor is incredibly rich! We ordered the clam chowder, halibut, maple glazed carrots and tres leches cake. The clam chowder's presentation was nicely done but nothing special in taste. It came so highly recommended on Reddit and many other diners ordered it but neither my party nor I cared for it. The halibut was good but didn't stand out and the maple glazed carrots weren't to my taste. What completely won us over was the tres leches cake. It is one of the most delicious and most memorable desserts we've ever had. Every layer complemented the next perfectly creating an incredibly balanced dessert that wasn't overly sweet with different textures. We couldn't stop talking about it afterward. It was one of the reasons we decided to give the restaurant a second shot. After our meal I mentioned to our server that we weren't sure if we'd ordered the right dishes since we weren't thrilled with the food especially with how popular the restaurant is. He explained that it's primarily an Argentinian steakhouse and suggested returning to try the meat dishes. On our second visit we arrived at opening without a reservation. There was plenty of seating but since we didn't have a reservation we were seated at the bar. I didn't mind seated at the bar but the bar stools were extremely uncomfortable, almost torturous. Unfortunately, it was too hot to sit outside. Midway through dinner a machine, maybe a dishwasher, was turned on behind the bar. It was loud and the vibrations could be felt. This time we ordered the beet salad, cheese empanada, beef empanada, two filet mignons and the lamb shoulder. The beet salad was a disappointment. It consisted of large overly soft chunks of beets with what tasted like a basic grocery store salad dressing. For a restaurant of this caliber I expected more. Neither of us enjoyed the cheese empanada but we both liked the beef empanada. We also ordered two filet mignons cooked the same way. Both arrived more done than requested and one way more overcooked than the other. They were also on the salty side, though both were very tender. The lamb shoulder, which our server had already warned us about before we ordered, ended up being dry and tough. The chimichurri served alongside the savory dishes was also heavier on onions than I prefer. Overall, the service was excellent, and the complimentary leek soup and tres leches cake were truly outstanding. Unfortunately, despite two visits, the main dishes we ordered didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation for us.
