Not only was my shrimp was cooked in old oil, it was black and overcooked, hard as a rock, I even recorded hitting the shrimp with my plate to show how hard they were they didn't even break or fall apart. My salad had a lot of brown pieces in it and no ranch dressing was included either and my carrot cake was dry as the drought between my grandmother's legs. Only thing good was the bread which I asked for extra butter and that wasn't included either. So basically I paid $40 for a little load of bread since it was basically the only edible thing I received. I know I can't be the only person getting messed up orders. I'm not even going to bother calling or coming in to talk to anyone because I did that once before and nothing was done about it. I just won't order ever again as it's like throwing money out the window with the horrible food and the horrible customer service. I wouldn't order here as there are so many other better options to choose from that will make your food right. Do better Outback, you've gone downhill! Came here on a Friday night and it was very busy! Almost all tables were full and the wait was an hour so I put my name down anyways and got in within 40 min. Got our drinks 3 minutes after seating and our Caesar salads 6 min after sitting. Incredible how fast and observant staff are even if it's busy. Waitress came and refilled my ice tea without me having to ask or even noticing my drink was almost empty! The wedge salad was and is one of the best salads in Tampa Bay but the hamburger was a complete disappointment. I know that costs for ingredients have skyrocketed but the ground beef was like it was market grade. Almost every bite had a gristly tidbit in it and I had stringy bits stuck between my teeth that I had to use a toothpick at the table which was rude but necessary. My salad has smelled bad, brown lettuce majority of salad and cucumbers are old looks like a few bites out of them. I got sick the last time. Eat anywhere else but here. Best Outback I have ever eaten at. Great management, wonderful food, and good bartenders. I ate here 7-8 times in the last two weeks, visiting for work. Shout out to Miss Sharon (manager), whose happy, energetic personality is infectious, and to Heather and Robin at the bar for excellent service. It was pretty good! I'm not a big fan of steak houses and these kind of places, so I'm a bit biased in my review. I got the chicken strip platter with a side of fries and salad. The table got a blooming onion to share as an appetizer. First off, their wait staff and managers are all wearing masks, so that's a plus. It the drinks were quick and the food was an okay speed. It was delicious though. I'm not a fan of onions but the crispy fried onion pieces in that delicious sauce was a good combo. Not sure what the sauce was. The chicken strip platter was great. It was way more food than I had even expected. I was full after eating half of all of it, so having some leftovers is another plus. The salad was a nice size and good selection of veggies too. This place is always busy because it's one of the chains in Wesley Chapel that's proven to be great over and over. Their corporation is very high on service and quality and they always put out a great product. My biggest complaint about this outback is that they don't have enough parking. I have actually left and gone to another restaurant if I can't find a parking spot. This past time I parked in the grass along the side of the restaurant, but it's not ideal. We ended up doing call ahead seating so when we got there we only had to wait 20 minutes. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. Surprisingly my steak was undercooked. Pasta tasted burned and some container of melted butter came on the side that was horrible too. Entree #3 was Sugar Steak, and it was cooked correctly but she said the sauce was not very good, and not something she would order again. House salad looked very good and fresh. There was no bread even though we asked for two and he had offered more, there were no napkins for utensils, nothing at all. So for our 150.00 we got one house salad, and the three desserts were good. We will never, ever go back to Outback again. What a waste of 150 bucks. Never again. I had to take some home because of the amount of delicious cheese fries I ate. Getting the Filet Mignon as a medium, it came out perfect to my liking. It was cooked excellent. We never usually go to Outback bc the weekends are pretty busy but during the week, it's not crazy busy where you have to wait forever. We both had a steak and I had crab legs as well. Tonight is special new year eve night. My wife call ahead for on system reservation. When we get there, there are already a lot of people waiting. The hoster said it need 1.5 hour of wait. We tell them our reservation and we waited for 20 minutes. We sat down at 6:15 and the line is still building up after we have left at 7:40 pm. We came here today is not about the new year eve. It is about the Wednesday special 3 course meal $12 and up. It came with soup or salad and desert at entree price. I have chicken totier soup with 12 oz prime rib and my wife have the Parmesan chicken. The totier soup is tomato base with spicy flavor and chicken chunk. The cheese melt in the soup make the spoon feed with dragging line of cheese from the bowl. The prime rib is an open grilled cooking and it is about a inch thick. It marinate with pepper corn and salt. They grilled to folk tender medium rare. It came with grill asparagus. My wife Parmesan chicken have the cheese on top and lite spice of garlic and salt. This make the Parmesan crispy when it oven baked. The crispy crush make the food more flavor to eat. The overall service tonight is a bit slow due to crowded condition. Even the waiter who brought it acknowledged that it was not up to their usual standard. The vegetables with both out meals were overcooked and mushy. Good points the bread pre meal they provide had real butter, is soft & freshly baked . My hubby ordered salad, chicken on the Barbie with loaded potato and loaded Mac & cheese with caramel topping on his cheesecake. I ordered the potato soup, 6 oz sirloin medium rare with loaded potato and steamed broccoli with chocolate topping on my cheesecake. Each of the course cane out quickly and correctly. Here yesterday while traveling south. Will always go to Outback, but "sometimes " disappointing. The Chicken & Shrimp in Alfredo sauce over pasta although good in some ways, needed more of a flavor. Was missing some of that great Italian tasting sauce. My other complaint was that the shrimp in the pasta was delicious but can be spicy. I notice in Outbacks, that it's rarely mentioned on their menu. I'm ok with spicy but my wife isn't. And it's sometimes a surprise on a dish that's ordered. Wish they would note that or the server mention it....but for the price, a generous portion. As was the Special salad (optional with entree) well worth it. Can easily feed two people plus! Delicious.
