I had a private baby shower here last weekend and it was amazing. Shower was at 4pm (after they closed) and we had the whole place for the party. Demitri, the owner, was extremely helpful throughout the process. I was able to choose items from the OEK menu as well as more "dinner" dishes due the time of the party (OEK menu is mostly brunch and lunch). Food was set up on the bar like a buffet. Everyone loved the food. I supplied BYOB wine and champagne. Servers were there to pour the glasses, clean up and assist guests, etc. I had 36 guests. It was a little tight with all the guests and gifts, but Demitri set up a seating arrangement that worked nicely. The design and interior of the place was a huge reason why I booked there. With some extra decorations the place was adorable. I highly recommend having a party there. read more

Today my friends and I wanted to go and have a nice lunch, so we decided to go to Over Easy Kitchen. It was 5 of us and the waitress told us 10 mins max but it was longer than that. Not only that, they refused to sit us at a table that was available. The waitress wanted to sit us at a table of 6 but there were 2 men who obviously didn't want to leave any time soon. We told the waitress we were at our lunch break and we have been waiting for over 20 mins and we asked if we could sit at the available table but she refused. We got very frustrated, annoyed and hungry. We wanted to have a nice lunch but unfortunately that didn't happen. We had already lost over 30 mins of our lunch. I will never think of going back to #overeasykitchen. Also, we didn't wanted to get frustrated but this place definitely did it. read more

Yes, this did happen as my friends and I were having breakfast. We were just about done eating when the dripping started except one lady. The owner, Trifon, told us he couldn't help that the ceiling leaked since it was the A/C unit and he said we were just about finished anyway!!! Really? This is what an owner says to customers? I had been looking forward to trying Over Easy, but was quite dissappointed by the time I left. It seems as though there were flies buzzing around ourselves and our food, and nothing could be done according to our server. Prior to us finishing up, the roof started leaking, a result of the a/c (so we were told). The owner of Over Easy did not seem too concerned, since he decided that we were about done. In fact, he seemed quite annoyed with us for voicing our displeasure with the situation. We told the owner that one member of our party had not finished, but her dish had gotten wet from the leak and she did not want to finish the dish since she had no idea what could be in the liquid coming from the ceiling. I'm not sure if the owner of Over Easy expected this patron to finish this dish, but he made no offer to replace it. read more

After patiently waiting for this place to open, my family and I were very excited to finally go! The decor and vibe of the restaurant are so inviting and the people there are very outgoing and careful of their customers. Although the menu is a little limited, the food was up to par. The egg sandwich was great and so were the lemon ricotta pancakes and brioche french toast and they are most definitely recommended to try. We hope they try to expand their menu a little more but for a new opening of this breakfast place it was quite great and we will be coming back again. :) read more

Ate there today for the first time. Very pleased. Same family is involved as the previous restaurant on the site, Kathy's. Menu is very creative, interesting dishes. Food was delicious, good portions, well presented, prices were reasonable. Nice decor. Staff was kept busy but that's to be expected for a Sunday brunch. There were many customers and that's good---shows that it has become popular. This is not like a diner that has 300 things on the menu. They have a thoughtful selection and a decent variety. Weve been coming here since we moved to the area about 9 months ago and the food is constantly good. They have new specials every week that I think are worth trying! The meat is very high quality. All the french toast pancakes waffles are excellent! The service is great as well. This place is always busy so its usually a 30 minute wait for the 5 of us. The food comes at a pretty reasonable amount of time. My family and I love it here and will continue to keep coming. read more

The food here is pretty good but the service here is the reasoning behind the 2 stars. The experience I encountered with my waitress was mortifying and being someone that works in a restaurant I could not imagine ever treating someone this way. She approached the table, did not introduce herself, and abruptly said "what do you want to drink" without even making eye contact with us. After bringing our drinks she returned 10 minutes later to take our orders again saying "what do you want to eat" We ordered and did not see her again for at least 30 minutes (at this point we were halfway done eating). Then when she returned she took my boyfriends empty drink and without even asking if he would like another or something else she came back with a completely different drink. At this point I wanted to get out of here and when I finally saw her again after another 10 minutes asked for a box for my food and a check and again without even looking up at my she came back with both and didn't say a word. Everyone else in the restaurant was very nice but this specific waitress has really turned me off from wanting to come back here. read more

Finally a breakfast place in the area to compete with the everlasting waits at Turning Point - not really a competition though in my opinion, this place is amazing. Great food, accommodating service, and a cool hipsteresque environment makes the place the best place to eat for miles. They finally released their official menu. it's really sad that such yummy delicious fresh food can be spoiled by a rude staff member. I've done take-out here twice and both times I was greeted by rudeness. the first time I came I was literally standing at the counter for 5 minutes with this one waitress two feet from my face before I had to yell over the loud restaurant to say "excuse me can I place an order for take-out" to which she told me I had to wait. and said it with such an attitude as if to say "can't you see I'm busy I have no time for you". she never came back to help me. I waited 10 more minutes (I heard the food was amazing. that was the only thing keeping me here at this point) before I nice older waitress actually helped me. I didn't complain because everyone has bad days so I just assumed that waitress was having a busy bad day. I came back again a second time and the same nasty waitress greeted me again. this time she actually made eye contact and asked to help me. I placed my order ahead of time to avoid waiting so long. she asked my name and when it didn't match what was on the slip she didn't even think to ask what I ordered (maybe the person taking my order over the phone heard me wrong). she just answered the ringing phone, without telling me to wait, and with 3 other people doing nothing who very well could have answered the phone. and instead of telling the person on the phone to wait a brief minute (I work in customer service. the person in front of you is the most important customer) she just continues her phone conversation answering that customers lengthy questions with my food just waiting in the bag (I checked the ticket it was my order). then she disappeared into the back without a word to get someone else who clearly understood to look at the ticket and ask what I ordered to see if it were mine. he clearly understood that my name was just spelled wrong. he was super nice (he even packed my order with food items separate so they didn't get soggy). I don't know if this girl frowns upon people who do take-out because maybe they won't tip but I'm the type of customer to tip for good service even on take-out orders. and if the food was good id want to bring friends and family to sit down and have a meal with me and of course tip my server well. she lost any tip I'd ever give her. I understand people make mistakes but this girl clearly needs to be trained better. read more

It was good. Service is a little lacking, took a while to be approached when we came in and a while for our waitress to come back to take our orders. My son had pancakes which he loved they were nice and fluffy, we had a burger which was a good and the ruben sandwich which was tasty but a little on the chewy side and without the cabbage a little on the dry side. I came here to order a special, which came with bacon risotto. I asked to swap it out for any side or extra avocado on the dish and I was told they are not allowed to do that.. how inconvenient? What is the issue with swapping an item? and I offered to pay whatever the difference is. My friends and I had breakfast there. The foods are OK. The restaurant had flies all over our plates. When we informed the waitress who said there was nothing she can do and walked away. All the sudden, water dripped down to our table from the ceiling and showered our plates and coffee. We told the waitress about the water and got up to the cashier. She said it was the air-conditioner and again there was nothing she can do except moved us to the counter. My friend asked to see the manager but was told no manager was on-site, A man came out few minutes later and claimed to be one of the partners. That arrogant PARTNER had an attitude, he said that the leaking was the first time happened, the problem of the air-conditioner was not an easy fixed and nothing he can do. Politely I pointed out to him that the leakage had been a while because there were water stains around the ceiling vent. He got annoyed that we brought up the matter since we were almost finished anyway,he did not even bother to go over to the table to see how bad was the dripping or apology. A partner (?) did not understand the customer services, kept the place clean and comfortable is not worth the customers to walk in and spend money. read more

Such a disappointment.I was so excited to try it here after seeing their Instagram. The service was so terrible, the manager was very rude. The entire place only has 3 highchairs they told us when one was free they would bring us one when a highchair finally got free the manager stacked it and put it away until we asked meanwhile we were sitting there with a 9 month old on our laps. They brought us coffee and hot food and handed them to us over the baby. They forgot my toast after repeatedly asking. And to top it off the potatoes tasted like plastic. read more

I am the type of person that if I'm going to go out to eat breakfast, I want something healthy and this is the perfect place. It is a little pricey but I think it is worth it. Last Tuesday I visited over easy with a group of about 8 friends. Upon arrival we were sat no issues, very friendly hostess! Our server came over to the table and brought us mimosa glasses since we had brought champagne with us. Tall blonde with a bob style cut. Not once did she introduce her self or say hello. The glasses were put down then she asked if we wanted OJ, but was just very uninterested as if she didn't want to be there at all. Never smiled barely made eye contact with anyone. After receiving the OJ we were all ready to order! One of our group members had some questions due to an allergy, and while asking the waitress the questions she sat there tapping her foot staring at my friend basically implying that she doesn't care instead of helping and giving some options! The food was finally brought out but our server was no where to be found. I found my self asking other people who worked there for ketchup, extra napkins etc. Not once did she come by to check on us or fill up our drinks. When it came time for the bill, I asked another server to bring over the check while I saw our server just standing in the back. The restaurant was not busy at all half of the tables were open. Very disappointed as I was recommended to come here by a close friend who visits often! read more

It was my mother's birthday, and a friend recommended that I take her to Over Easy Kitchen for a good breakfast. I regretted taking my mom there for her special day, as we were not treated as special, or even as customers. We arrived and were assigned to a table. Someone came and took our order, and gave us our coffee, but we realized we had no sugar. We waited for the server to come check on us, 10 minutes and no one came. Our coffee was getting cold, so I got up and asked a different server for sugar. About 10 minutes later, our food was delivered, but the toast took another 5 minutes to come. When we finished our first round of coffee, we waited for our server to come back for a second round. 20 minutes later and she still didn't check on us to see if we needed anything, yet the table next to us had been checked on 3 times already. I went and chased a different server down and told her to bring us more coffee. She did. Then we wanted water, and I still couldn't find our server. I chased down yet another server for a glass of water. Also, a very small amount of syrup is given for a stack of pancakes that are pretty thick. They were dry and hard to swallow, but we decided not to ask for more syrup because I was tired of getting up from my seat and bothering the people next to us. Overall, we had to chase down people for service the entire time. It was absolutely disappointing. Although my mother was thankful for the gesture, she said, "Ihop would have been OK." read more

Do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else. The staff is extremely rude especially the little blonde girl. My colleagues and I work very close and we go out to eat on break frequently. Every time I have eaten here the staff is slow and it takes over an hour to get in and out for lunch, which is a shame because the food is good. Today in particular we were told there would be a 10 minute wait for a party of 5. 20 minutes later they had sat 4 parties of 2, skipped over us twice and continued to tell me that we had to wait for two gentleman who had paid already to get up. Those gentlemen had had their water glasses filled twice since paying there bill and were clearly having some kind of meeting. SO you mean to tell me that there is no other table in the WHOLE restaurant that can fit 5 people even though you just cleaned off two 4 tops from a previous party and separated them IN FRONT of us? Then you have the nerve to give me an attitude when quietly questioned. Well I will never eat here again and neither will any of the 15 people I work with and I'll be sure to tell everyone with ears to listen exactly how I was treated today. My Advice.... save yourself the aggravation and go to La Rosa where the food is good, the staff is pleasant and greets you with a smile and a how can we help you when you walk in. read more
