The Owl Spirit Cafe is so Port Townsend, a comfortable ambiance, eclectic decor and healthy and tasty food. I enjoyed the Bahn-Mi sandwich which was their very flavorful and juicy version using roasted pork belly. It was the kind of sandwich that once you pick it up you do not put it down. Our service was very good and a really nice meal.

Had a great late lunch at Owl Spirit Cafe after a morning of whale watching. The food was fresh and delicious and the bohemian feel to the place was nice. Friendly service.

Nice little cozy cafe with a variety of food ( gluten free as well) that you can try. Service is excellent. Prompt and friendly. Price is a bit high. But quality of food well worth it.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the food here. I got a taco salad to go and it was just disproportionately filled with beans and corn. I think that the price for the food is again, disproportionately expensive and the food was just bland and undesirable. It tastes as if they just opened a can of black beans, rinsed it under water, and plopped it onto lettuce. Unfortunately, I would not return to this establishment.

Very generous portion of taco salad with beef! Not pictured are the bag of tortilla chips. I think this is big enough that it can be shared between 2 people or possibly saved as leftovers. For $20, this had me full way past dinner. Regardless, this is a cute place to stop by for a lunch or dinner date with very cool and cozy art. The desserts at the counter are also really yummy, especially the brownie with miso sauce! Don't get caught red handed eating dessert while waiting for pick up like we did. Shout out to the cashier who had a good laugh at that lol. You can also order ahead of time on the website to save some time for pick up!

What a great find! This is a wonderful little restaurant just off Water St. It is small but has a full menu and decent beer selection. We're vegan and went with the Bahn Mi sandwich which as simply fantastic. Excellent bread, spicy vegan mayo and tasty mushrooms. We also had the potato and asparagus soup which was creamy and filling. Good service (a bit slow when they're busy) and a friendly and relaxed environment. Really enjoyed it each time we came here.

Ask the Community - Owl Sprit Cafe

    Do they exhibit art? Who?

Yes! There is always art on display on the walls and for sale. The artists change pretty regularly, local artists mostly.

Sounds perfect, but would there be room for 7-8 friends to all sit together (celebrating a birthday dinner)?

You'd have to move tables around but bc it's so small they're very communicative, the biggest table seats 6

Dillon found Granny's cafe nearby and that it was opening in about 15 minutes. We headed there and thankfully we got there right as they opened. Several parties entered shortly after us so luckily we grabbed a 3 top and checked out the menu. We each ordered a chocolate malt and a basket. My boyfriend and I chose the burrito basket and Aunt C. got the breakfast sandwich basket. When you walk into Granny's cafe you are immediately greeted by the vintage decor and the friendly employee at the counter. Once we sat down I had time to take it all in. Just above us was a ceiling shelf displaying a bunch of different salt and pepper shakers. A piano sat behind us with an old meat grinder nearby. They had some shirts for sale and a restroom just outside. An eclectic mix of vintage decor and several tables to serve guests inside and outside. Once the food came the three of us were famished. The chocolate malts were thick and delicious with a hefty dollop of whipped cream on top. Portion sizes were on point for our hunger needs, we were unable to finish everything. The burrito was stuffed with fresh spinach, tomatoes, cheese, and choice of meat. I got the sausage and all of it together was flavorful and hearty. This little cafe is certainly worth stopping at, be sure to check their hours before getting excited. It worked out that they opened at 11 on this day after we had filled our morning with an adventurous hike. We drove by a few hours later and noticed they got a lot busier after they opened, we were thankful we got there early and filled our tummies to get us through the rest our day. I highly recommend this little cafe if you happen to be heading in or around Olympic national park, in this area. I know we'd definitely go back when we visit again!

My husband, Mike, had the biscuits and gravy to which he gave a HUGE thumbs up. He frequently orders this dish and is generally disappointed; saying it's more like paste. I have told him to stop ordering it, but at Cama Beach Cafe, Coree (our server), said the Cafe's version was amazing. She was right! The Biscuit & Gravy was created with wild mushroom & silvana meats savory sausage gravy, on top of the homemade, buttery biscuit add two eggs for $3 which is very popular! And it was. I ordered extra crisp bacon and eggs with a Cama Cafe-made biscuit. I'm very particular about my biscuits (raised in the south) and was also very pleased. Plus, the homemade berry jam was extraordnary!!! Also, I wanted to say that Coree was absolutely 5-star!She was smiling, laughing, and providied excellent recommendations about what to order. We could see things coming and going on other tables and it all looked yummy. We were in the PNW celebrating my 70th birthday.
