Went to lunch with my niece. She'd never been here. We both had the portabella burger & shared the sweet potato fries. Both were flavorful & delish! The prices do seem a bit high but, I can guarantee, the food will be good & you won't walk away hungry. The people who work there are very nice and helpful if you've questions. The restaurant/cafe is small so try to go during non-peak hours or expect a wait. I've been here several times and have consistently had a good meal. We heard about this place from friends. Called ahead on a busy Saturday at lunch time. Ordered the Grilled Rachael Roasted Turkey Sandwich and my wife got the Portobello burger. For desert , coconut caramel pecan bread pudding. My Turkey sandwich was freaking delicious. Juicy seasoned turkey, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut with a house sauce on toasted rye. My wife's portobello sandwich, according to her, was amazing. Marinated mushroom , pesto, garlic aioli, lettuce tomato and red onion on a hoagie roll. This review comes fresh after inhaling a delicious meal from Owl Sprit. The taco bowl simply blew my mind. So fresh. So deeply delicious. So good that while eating my take-out outside with beautiful views I could not take my eyes off my plate. I'm crediting the chimichuri sauce for doing most of the heavy lifting. The salsa was great as well to be fair. Loved the cabbage and the beans and the avocado. This dish had it all. With limited time in Port Townsend, I will have to come back and reorder this. Fabulous food and great vibes. We were visiting the area (from Los Angeles) and only ended up here because of the odd toxic odor at the Hudson Point Cafe. The interior design and wonderful music mix put our minds at ease and bodies in full-on chill mode. This was one of those life changing meals that gave me such a sense of peace and joy with the state of dining. We ordered the cauliflower taco bowl and the soup of the day (a cauliflower carrot ginger curry), and it was AMAZING. Seemingly so simple, but exquisitely put together, so much flavor and freshness in every bite. The ambiance of this little spot is so inviting and cozy. Lots of color and beautiful plants, and so well lit with natural sunlight pouring in from the open front door, and beautifully placed hanging lamps. The playlist in the background was also so well curated, adding to the peaceful vibe. I wish there were more places like this, and that I lived closer! This is literally the most hippie place I've ever been in. That's not necessarily a bad thing but it's also just not really my cup of tea. The music being played sounded like music you'd hear in the waiting room at a spa. Food was good quality and portions were good sized but it was hard to find something that appealed to us on the menu, and wasn't really what we were looking for. The woman taking orders wasn't particularly welcoming or friendly. The interior is also very small and seating was pretty tight, and it wasn't even anywhere near capacity. I can only imagine if it was! Overall, the restaurant is cute and fits with the vibe of the town but the menu, service, and atmosphere inside were just okay and it's not somewhere I need to eat at again. I did have a smoothie here that was really good, I might grab one of those next time I'm in the area but I'll be dining elsewhere. read more
