I've been on an oyster kick so obviously we had to stop in to this one since we were in the casino anyway. I can't remember our waiters name But he was very nice and explained what oyster they had available what the market price was and checked in on us during our meal. This place reminded me of the rainforest Cafe as the outside of it had water all around it with "waterfalls". We were able to sit at a table and watch the Knights game while we ate a dozen oysters, I can't remember what the name of them were. We followed that up with a clam steamer in the garlic sauce. That sauce was incredible to dip your bread in! To finish up the meal, We had the chicken gumbo with medium heat. That was the perfect amount of heat for me and I've never had okra that wasn't fried before! I would definitely come back just for the gumbo.

Come here and get the seafood pan roast. You won't be disappointed. I promise!

This place is 2nd best to the palace station pan roast. I think it's because the pan roast is cooked longer on the steamer so adds more depth and flavor. Whenever I don't want to wait in line, I go here and get my pan roast fix vs the one in palace station, be expected to wait a minimum of 30 mins to 2 hrs + even though they open 24 hrs. They need to get customer seated faster and take their orders in and they only have about 8 steamers to cook at a time and each steamer takes 15-20 mins to cook vs sunset station cooks it between 5-10 mins!! The service is great as they always check on us and fill our water. The jambalaya here isn't as good, so I recommend sticking to pan roast and clam chowder! I'll try their baked oysters next time.. Here's a cleaner, more polished version of your review while keeping your original voice and points: This spot is easily my second favorite for pan roast after Palace Station. I think the difference comes down to how long they cook it here--they leave it on the steamer longer, which really adds depth and richness to the flavor. Whenever I don't feel like dealing with the insane wait times at Palace Station, I come here instead to satisfy my pan roast craving. At Palace Station, even though they're open 24 hours, you should expect to wait anywhere from 30 minutes to 2+ hours. Part of the delay seems to be seating and ordering efficiency, plus they only have around eight steamers, and each batch takes about 15-20 minutes. In comparison, Sunset Station cooks theirs much faster--around 5-10 minutes. Service here is great--they're attentive, check in often, and keep your water filled, which I really appreciate. The jambalaya didn't impress me as much, so I'd recommend sticking with the pan roast and clam chowder. I'm planning to try the baked oysters next time.

I decided to try the Oyster Bar inside Sunset Station today, and I'm glad I did. After reading several reviews, I knew I wanted to try the Shrimp and Lobster Fra Diavolo. And it did not disappoint. The dish was absolutely delightful. I chose a level 5 for the heat, which ended up being the perfect balance. I enjoy spice, but not so much that I can't actually enjoy the food. Honestly, next time I'd probably go up to about a level 7. I also ordered a Hurricane, which I really enjoyed, and they brought out complimentary bread to start things off. Which is always a nice touch. I sat at the bar where you can watch the chefs work, and that really added to the experience. The atmosphere felt lively without being overwhelming, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. Overall, I truly enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back again.

We always stay at the Sunset station. Always got cheap food from Brass fork graveyard specials and their $5.99 burgers, until...... we heard about Oyster Bar's happy hour, which occurs 1 hour prior to closing time. Always got the 1/2 dozen oysters, either clams or mussels and the clam chowder. All from about $9-12. We started venturing out and this last time we got drinks! A michelada and spicy pineapple margarita which is also on their HH. Then we really ventured out more and got their pan roast! We got the combo with shrimp, crab and lobster. So basically a seafood tomato soup! So good! You have to get the bread basket with butter!! Goes perfectly with every dish that is saucy! Our server made our night! So nice and always came back to check on us!! This location looks like a sea cave, including waterfalls! The counter seating gives you an overview of the steam pots. If I ever go alone, that's where I'm sitting! Next trip... Gumbo!

The Oyster Bar at Sunset Station is always a solid choice and such a treat anytime I'm at a Station casino. The pan roast is seriously so good every time-and is a total comfort food! We went on a Monday and the wait really wasn't bad, though I've heard it can get long. Service is on the slower side, but it feels intentional and not rushed. The vibe is cute and classic, but it is loud since it's right in the casino, so be prepared for some background noise. One thing to note: the pan roast can get pretty spicy, so if you're not a big heat person, stick to the lower spice numbers. Still incredibly flavorful. I will be back :)

Awesome pan roast! Service was excellent. Love that you can see the chef cook our yummiest pan roast. Pan roast was substantial, you can taste the crab meat, lobster and shrimp. They didn't skimp out. The clam chowder was creamy. The clams were perfect. Love the ambiance here.

In Green Valley Ranch casino after a movie and wanting a quick dinner. It is years since we ate at the Oyster Bar, so we gave it a try. No problem getting a table at 7:30 PM on a Wednesday evening. Our server was at our table right away to get our beverage order and answer questions about the menu. My wife went with the New England clam chowder ($10). A good sized bowl and very tasty. I ordered the house gumbo (($33). The house gumbo includes shrimp, chicken, meat, and veggies. Huge portion - took home half for lunch the next day (it reheats very well!!!) A bit pricey for a very informal restaurant - but it is in a casino so you don't expect a bargain. Tasty food, nice clean ambiance. Several TVs with sports on visible from every table.

I'll keep this short and sweet. During Lent season is tough as a luchador because we want MEAT! Came here on Friday and was looking for a quick exhibition match. My heel wife and I came here to meet up with some friends and needed a non-meat option. When I was taking the Southern California Lucha scene by storm, we used to frequent a Cajun spot called Ritters (RIP). I've heard this Oyster Bar having what you get from the Palace Station without the long queue. Tonight's match was a 3 on 2 handicap match against the pan roast team of Shrimp, Crab and Lobster. This match was very good, very flavorful and PACKED with the 3 different sea bugs. It came with a side of rice (could've used a little more but that's ok) and some bread as well. You can choose your spice level from 1 to 10, the server recommended a 4 but I laughed at such a suggestion and said to give us an 8 PORQUE NO SOY CULERO! DAME EL PINCHE OCHO! CERO MIEDO! This was able to feed both the heel wife and I, so if the $34 price tag seems like a lot, it can be split between 2 people. 1! 2! 3! The team of Shrimp, Crab and Lobster Panroast conquered! I look forward to having a rematch with these opponents. 5 OUT OF 5 LUCHAS!

We were back again last month and showed our family how amazing the restaurant truly is. We loved everything we have and left talking about how good it was for days! I absolutely love everything, the baked oysters are my favorite, the jambalaya and the little sourdough bread appetizers are everything. I can't remember our Filipino servers name.. but he was super good to us! Thank you guys for an awesome experience yet again, and we will definately be b

We visited the Oyster Bar inside Sunset Station. Understandable being a Friday night, we had to wait in line for a few minutes. We were seated at a high table for two. Our waitress took our drink and food order after a few minutes. Bread and butter were served with our drinks. Soon after receiving our drinks, our dozen of oysters on the half shell arrived. They were fresh and very tasty. A good amount of time later, a male waiter delivered my Shrimp and Lobster Fra Diavolo. This waiter then asked if we needed an extra dish as if we were splitting this dish. It was at this point that I knew something was wrong with our order. My companion ordered a cup of New England Clam Chowder and a Caesar Salad, but they never arrived. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. An extensive amount of time had now passed. I chose not to start eating my dish since my companions food hadn't arrived. We watched another table that had just sat down much later than we did and had already received and started eating their food. Their male waiter came by their table several times while he waited on them, like he should. Frustrated, I finally stood up and looked for a manager near the bar top. A few employees looked my way, but none of them approached me to ask if I needed assistance. Finally, a gentleman came over and asked if I needed help. I explained my issue, and he promised to look for my waitress. She was still nowhere to be found! Then, a chef wearing a baseball hat brought the soup and Caesar salad to our table. I'm sure he scooped up the clam chowder and placed it into a cup and prepared a Caesar Salad. Both were easy to prepare I'm sure. At this point I asked for my food to be placed into a to-go box and asked for my check. Finally, my waitress arrived with the check and she tried to justify the neglectful service. The bill was about $100 and they offered about a $16 discount. I insisted that I didn't want a discount. We just wanted to enjoy our dinner. I left $120 cash for a $98 diner that we later enjoyed at home. The customer service was terrible!.

I love the Oyster Bar. Now that station has remodeled, it looks much cleaner and brighter. I always get either the seafood boil or the gumbo. This is the seafood boil. You can tailor the spice level to your preference. I like how the boil comes deconstructed. It's cooked to order but it doesn't take long for it to come from the kitchen.

My second fav oyster bar in the city. No tourist traffic like Palace Station. No long line, kid friendly, clean and bigger than Palace. Love all the decorations inside. I think Sunset isn't as smoky inside vs Palace. Service is always good but the combo pan roast is delicious!!!!! Thank you Sunset Statuon Oyster Bar

We ordered cocktails from a very limited menu. Our waiter wasn't sure how to make the lemon drop martini on the menu but said he'd try to follow the recipe. When he returned we asked which were which he said "we only had one kind so they're all the same." I feel he should have told us before serving them since they were $4 each! I ordered coippino which at $46 was expensive but I wanted a treat. Hubby ordered large clam chowder in bread bowl and Caesar salad. Cioppino lists first ingredient as crab. What I was served had no crab, 2 overcooked shrimp and rubbery calamari. The sauce was flavorful but so disappointing otherwise. I asked about the crab and was told "no crab" and I was offered additional scallops as compensation. He brought three small scallops on a plate. Hubby was served two small bread bowls of chowder with the explanation of "we are out of large bowls". Again, it should have been discussed prior to serving that there was a substitution. Who wants two big loaves of bread bowl??? The salad adequate-- a big bowl of romaine with croutons with a side of dressing. All in all not worth the over $150 it cost. Not in the least! Yet of late I have become less enamored with the Clam Chowder served here, which is different than most. It is always scorchingly hot, and very potatoey and floury in taste. Coleslaw has been good but could use a bit of salt. And French Fries have always been hot and tasty, and soft enough to wave in the air. A squat bottle of Pure leaf No Sugar Iced Tea (with two packets of Sweet & Low) is a great beverage for washing everything down. Workers here are very friendly and helpful. Several have British accents, which adds authenticity to the London pub-like atmosphere. XXXX-1/2 stars my last time here.

Food was delicious with all seafood dishes being cooked perfectly. Highlight of the dinner was definitely the Brussels sprouts recommended by Autumn. Even though it's a side and the description is super generic, they're deep fried and finished with a balsamic vinaigrette and crispy friend onions. So delicious.

The restaurant itself has that classic Red Lobster feel--very nostalgic and comfortable. It wasn't busy when we arrived, and we were seated promptly, which was a great start. Unfortunately, things became frustrating after we placed our order. About 30 minutes later, we were informed that they were out of both filet mignon and rice, which meant our Jambalaya order needed to be changed and our Surf & Turf had to be modified as well. It was disappointing that it took that long for the kitchen to communicate those shortages. We then waited another 20 minutes before being told they could actually make the Jambalaya after all if we still wanted it. By that point, we had already been waiting nearly an hour for our food and just wanted to eat. When the food finally arrived, most of it was fine. However, my steak was very tough and difficult to chew, which was disappointing, especially after the extended wait. The rest of the meal was perfectly acceptable. Our server, Matthew, was very kind, professional, and apologetic throughout the entire situation. He handled everything as well as he could and was not the issue. From what we observed, there seemed to be a disconnect between management, the kitchen, and the serving staff. We could hear management walking around discussing that there was no rice available, yet the information wasn't being communicated consistently to guests in a timely manner. I understand that restaurants run out of items, and that happens. The bigger issue was the lack of communication and the amount of time it took for accurate information to reach our table. Hopefully these are just growing pains, because the staff was friendly and the restaurant itself was pleasant.

The fried fish tacos were greasy and messy, and the shrimp/octopus/scallop ceviche tostada was doused in some dark brown sauce that tasted more like soy sauce. While we applaud the variety and creativity of the various ceviches on the menu, this one just tasted funny. We were not fans. Service was lacking -- didn't stop by to check in or ask if we needed anything else. Ambiance: casual. A lot of octopus murals on the walls. Parking: free street parking

Bajamar Seafood & Tacos has been my long-time answer to favorite tacos/Mexican spot in Las Vegas. I used to go to their original downtown spot fairly often at lunchtime and have told people that I enjoyed them more than the San Diego seafood tacos I've tried. So of course having them open in downtown Henderson much closer to me was exciting. I don't know why I waited so long, but I had time today to drop in for happy hour. The first bite, the Fish Tostada ($8.00 Happy Hour) really was awesome and maybe even better than I remember from before. The chipotle mayo had a bit of a "screaming O" sauce effect on that pile of raw white fish, and everything tasted vibrant and fresh, including the crispy tortilla, pickled onions, carrots, and avocado slices. The tacos, however, didn't quite land. The Battered Shrimp Taco ($5.50 HH) especially had rubbery shrimp, while the Battered Fish Taco ($5.00) was more tender but still didn't really hit. Maybe there wasn't enough creamy sauce on the latter, or maybe they didn't nail the cook on that either. I'll have to come back to try a taco with grilled shrimp, or a relatively new bite in the octopus chicharron. Speaking of that name though, the Fish Chicharron ($8.50 HH) is also new to me and is a great sharable dish. There are so many little cubes of diced, battered, and fried fish that you might also call it "popcorn" fish. You do have to eat it quickly or else the pieces will soften up though. The spicy aioli really has a kick on this one, which may make it harder for more sensitive palates like mine to take the whole dish down solo. The garnishes on top are also fresh and are a welcome break from the heat. Another item that can help with spiciness is their Horchata ($4.00), which still seems as tasty and not overly sweet as I recall from having it before. I will probably try the lemonade next time instead, so hopefully that's also a great option. Also, the overall pacing of the food was a little too fast of furious. I should have foreseen it coming and asked for them to space it out, but some of the items did cool off while I was working through the table. The music seemed to be a lot of Hawaiian reggae and other relaxed tunes, all in English. There were sports on the TV but muted. The overall lighting situation between lights and natural lighting was great. Bajamar still is a good local spot, but it may have lost a bit of its luster for some reason. I'll still swing by when the seafood taco craving hits since it's much easier to reach here, and hopefully it's perfect from start to finish next time.
