Exceptional Service & Experience -- Worth Writing About Last night, Saturday, December 20th, I took my two young children to dinner at P.F. Chang's located at 18323 North Dallas Parkway, and the experience was so outstanding that it genuinely deserved a review. I worked in the service industry for over 10 years and even had the privilege of opening a P.F. Chang's location in Albany, New York years ago, so I don't write reviews lightly -- but this team truly impressed me. From the moment we sat down, the customer service, atmosphere, quality of food, and attentiveness were superb. Our waiter, Christian, was professional, warm, patient, and incredibly attentive, especially with my kids. He struck the perfect balance of being efficient while still making us feel genuinely cared for. The manager, KJ Jefferson, went above and beyond in a way that truly stood out. She made my daughter feel so special and personally ensured she received her fortune cookie on the way out the door, a small gesture that meant everything to a child and spoke volumes about her leadership and heart for hospitality. We are traveling to Dallas for Christmas, and despite there being several P.F. Chang's locations in the area, I am so grateful we chose this one. It's clear that this location has a strong culture built on genuine service. In today's economy, with inflation and the cost of dining out, excellent service and quality food matter more than ever, and this location delivers on both. Christian and KJ are the kind of employees who deserve recognition, and they are a true asset to this restaurant and brand. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening. read more

I know this may be petty, but it's just something that kind of I would say a little bother me. I visited on a weekday during maybe lunch hours if that and they packed my food for me which I appreciate but as I go to Red heat my food I noticed that they made the decision on packing what they thought I wanted if I have everything on the plate why not pack everything in a plate so I had two eggrolls I didn't finish them. They didn't pack my egg rolls. I asked if they can pack two sauces that I had they said sure they packed the sauce that they wanted to pack. I guess moving forward. I need to pack my own food. I appreciate the help that they were offering, but I think you should not determine what and what not to pack if I have everything on my plate pack my whole plate read more

We dined here for lunch. It was very clean and spacious. We wanted something relatively light and simple since it was early. We had the lettuce wraps and the dynamite shrimp which are always fantastic. Decided to get the lunch combos which gives enough food to take home for later. Miso salmon and Mongolian beef for the entrees, fried rice and soup. A beer for the man and an old fashioned for me. Server was very nice and accommodating. She made a couple recommendations and gave honest opinions. It was early so not many patrons. We spent about $120 with tip. read more

I haven't been to P.F. Chang's in forever but spot was chosen for a work lunch. I got to try their smoked old fashioned, definitely a must try as well as their lunch menu. Eveyehting i had was delicious and the staff was good as well. This is a good P.F. Chang's location for business, relationships or just to grab a drink or two at the bar. read more

Unfortunate, but not the worst in the world. I haven't eaten at a P.F. Chang's in years, so I wanted to try it again. Average is what it ended up at. We ordered the Dynamite Shrimp, which I have to say were the best item we had today; perfectly cooked, perfect temperature and great flavor. We each ordered a cup of egg drop soup which did not taste bad, but I was looking for the egg drop soup we all know and love. This is more a vegetable broth with a little egg in it? That's the best I can describe it. We had the egg rolls which were fine and the pork fried rice, which was also just fine. Nothing wowed me today. The service wasn't the best ever. Our server was a bit forgetful which was unfortunate but they made everything right so I am not complaining. Overall the issues were it too a while for anyone to even come up to the front to seat us, just average food for the most part, and average service. The restaurant had the decor that all P.F. Chang's are known for and it was clean. I have to say, it may be several more years if I do try it again. read more

This location is off Frankford and has its own close to the door parking area, which was nice. I called and made a to go order of their Changs feast for 2 $19.50 a person. He was very polite and took my order with no problem saying it would be ready in 15-20 min. When I arrived, I remembered he hadn't asked me what kind of rice and that I'd forgotten to ask for extra wrap sauce, so I mentioned that to the front desk guy. My food was ready, and he added brown rice and a 2nd sauce, which I appreciated. The feast came in 2 bags, and all the items were sealed very well, so everything got home in perfect condition. We ordered 2 hot and sour soups, and they were packed with lots of ingredients and were delicous. The lettuce wraps came with lots of meat and small romaine leaves that were very easy to fill and hold to eat. The sesame chicken was delicous, and the pork lo mein was very flavorful-pork was a tad tough so will order it with chicken next time. We got the slice of chocolate cake for dessert it was HUGE and so wonderful that it came with a few strawberries/blueberries and strawberry sauce. It was a lot of food for the price, we will definitely order this again. We ate the soup and lettuce wraps before I remembered to take pictures, lol. read more

The noodles are not flavored in a tasteful way. I felt as if I couldn't finish the meal because of how bland the noodles were. For 19$ the quantity was not enough. They added barely any tofu in the noodles. Just felt like it was up charged with no taste or quantity to match it. I haven't had good experiences with PF Chang's before either as the food is often bland and the portion sizes small. There are many excellent pan Asian restaurants out there that you should choose from. read more

I have only been to PF Changs about three times. Never disappointed until tonight. This was the first time I've done takeout. Ordered the Mongolian Beef with white rice. The beef was so overcooked and dried out it was like shoe leather. The same with the rice. Rice consisted of a hard clump of stuck together mass. I literally had to use a knife to cut into it. What wasn't part of the clump was like grit it was so dried out. The pork egg roll wasn't bad but our order of spring rolls tasted like part of them were raw dough. My wife had the honey chicken which she said wasn't bad but not great. I might try eating inside some day but never again on take out. read more

Today's lunch at P.F. Chang's could not have been better! I brought the whole family and we were sat in Wendy's section and she greeted us immediately and offered some delicious cocktails. This place deserves zero stars, not one...my wife and I dined at the far north Dallas location last night, and the food was not just overpriced, but actually really bad! I had the orange peel chicken, and honestly McDonalds is better. The chicken nuggets were over-breaded, stale and hard, and basically hard to eat. The server was a nice young man, and did a good job, but the food was horrible! I'm not sure what's happened to PF Chang's, but the quality of food has gone to the gutter! read more

Nice atmosphere but a long wait to get seated. Didn't mind waiting though because the food was good. Of course the lettuce wraps are really fantastic! Slow service even though 3 other groups were eating. The place had cobwebs next to the windows. Food took forever and came out a little cold. Place looked nice but only nice for drinks. I have always enjoyed P.F. Chang's cuisine but this edible experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Let me explain; The hot & sour soup should have been hotter in temperature but otherwise tasty. Now the Mongolian Beef with brown rice needed resuscitation as the rice was under cooked and dry and the beef was over cooked and resembled jerky and to add insult to injury I was charged 99 cents for three mushroom slices. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I paid over $60 for fried rice, Mongolian beef, and key lime pie for dessert. My special fried rice had a burnt taste, and while eating, I found crunchy pieces from burnt bits of beef. The portion of the Mongolian beef was small and also burnt. Overall, the food was awful. On top of that, I ordered through Uber Eats and can't return it, but if I had been in the restaurant, everything would have been sent back. The quality of food is very poor for the price. Came to celebrate my besties bday with her hubby and my nephew. They were made sure we were accommodated for his stroller and a highchair. We walked in and were promptly greeted and seated!! It was busy but not crazy or overly loud!! If you visit the location on the Tolllway and Frankford ask for Dee. She was our server and was absolutely amazing!! She is so sweet and friendly. She has great recommendations if you are not sure what you want. She made sure we were all happy and we definitely were!! All of the food was so amazing!! Sadly over the years PF Chang's has fallen from the top of my Go To's to the top of my Avoid because you'll be Disappointed list. While I didn't love of all of their entrees, I did have my few favorites. Also the service had consistently been attentive. My last visits over the past 2 years and most recently, last week, have been dismal. The food is unimaginative and poorly executed. Last week I got the Asian chicken Caesar. It was a soggy salad, with undercooked chicken. Inedible. I always get their egg drop soup- this time was bland and no crunchy toppings. My friends had the pad Thai and the orange chicken bowl with nothing impressive to say about either. Service was inattentive, had to get up and find knives, asked for water several times. I know covid has affected food and service quality at some establishments and this one has definitely taken a hit. read more

Lunch with daughter at P.F.Chong's was really good. Our server was really great! She made excellent suggestions. Downside: The lunch menu was not extensive. I had dinner with a friend a couple of weeks before and looked forward to enjoying a lunch portion of what I had had for dinner. That didn't happen. Though the lunch menu was limited, the food was still very good. The dishes were flavorful, appealing to the eye, and served without a long wait. I wanted my daughter to experience the massive chocolate cake. The look on her face when it was served was one of shock and awe. I will revisit this restaurant again. AWFUL!! We were so excited to go back to PF Chang's after along time of not going out to eat. Ordered the dumpling which were ice cold in the middle. THEN, Ordered the new New York steak dish...so fatty and no sauce and veggies ice cold! So odd...fried rice even sucked! My gosh. What a great experience. I have not been to P.F. Chang's in over 5 yrs, have no idea why, but an opportunity came and I took it, and I'm so happy I did. Nice looking place, welcoming crew, spacious seating. We came early, around 5, wasn't many tables so we got great customer service from Brent :) He was helpful and funny, and since happy hour was still on, we decided to get multiple dishes and drinks of course! Everything was super reasonably priced and super delis. We both picked the agave organic margarita to get started with, oh, was so perfect. I really wanted to have another but I got so stuffed with all the delis appetizers like shrimp dumpling, fried calamari and veggies, Kung pao Brussels sprouts, fried egg roll, chicken lettuce wrap and dynamite shrimp, that I could not possibly have one more drink :( Honestly, all of them was amazing I can't even pick a fav. Okay if I really really need to, the dynamite shrimp, I just dunno how they made fried shrimp so soft and tasty. We kinda ordered things bit by bit, Brent made sure we are happy and ready for more food. Its so nice to go busy places early, we were not rushed, food came out perfectly and was cooked perfect too. Terrible service. Food was mediocre which would have been overlooked if we didn't spend 99% of the time attempting to get our waitress. First off they took forever to take our order with only 2 other tables in the entire restaurant. Then the soup was forgotten so she had to go back and get that which again would be fine if we didn't proceed with the lack of service. Next after the food was served we weren't checked on the entire meal, everyone's drink was empty and by the time she came back we were ready for to go boxes. I ended up ordering a to go dessert & drink since we no longer had time to stay as my older parents were needing to beat some traffic. The dessert came of course on a plate and not to go. They did not offer to go and plate it or apologize. Instead we were given a to go box for the dessert that disintegrated as we were attempting to put in the to go box. Lastly, we got the check and gave our credit card before the server could leave so we could finally leave , the check was dropped back off and the server left. Still the bad service continued as it turned out the server forgot to swipe the card. We now wait another 15min attempting to get anyone of the workers chit chatting behind the bar to help us. Finally I manager I assume grabs a waiter who asks if we need help. We tell him our card wasn't swiped. He goes "oh that's my fault" and leaves to once again we hope to close out our tab. We finally get it paid and able to leave. Terrible experience, terrible service & coming from a former server there was no excuse. Many of these things would've been overlooked if there was an apology or even follow up especially considering they only had 3 tables this entire time.
