Terrible food! I came from Beijing, I'm telling you this is not Chinese food. I can understand a bit variation on cooking. But for the first time I didn't recognize Kung Pao chicken. Come on! Dreary weather means I'm not cooking. We decided on take out from pf chnags. It's not to far from our apt in de literally right over the state line . Garlic noodles- spicy and garlicy always a winner. It's made with egg noodles but not the short fat ones used in stroganoff . These are long and thin similar to spaghetti noodles . Baby buddah veggies - a small portion for kids but it's the perfect blend of carrots , snap peas, and broccoli . I like it stir fried it comes in yummy teriyaki sauce. Spicy chicken - was flavorful and the tender meat was stir fried in garlic and spice probably red pepper flakes. Everything was still warm when it arrived at the house( of course I didn't leave the house it was delivered by my sweetie ) Would have given 4 stars but they did not provide us with cutlery and the bag of sauces spilled out and ruined the taste of the other sauces. The dynamite shrimp are the best. I am not anti-chain, but I don't have a go to outside of Changs. This is always a easy, quick, affordable, and fun place to go. The food quality is higher than your average Chinese restaurant. But if you are reading this you most likely have been at least once. This location seems to be run well. Hostess was super friendly, waitstaff was on top of things, drinks came out fast. This is how a restaurant should run on a Friday night. Thanks for the great date night experience. read more

In three words? Not worth it. I've never been to a PF Changs before, but we thought we'd give it a go on a Tuesday night when neither one of us felt like cooking. Service was pretty slow, even though we were not there during the dinner rush. My husband and I ordered the "Two for $39.95" fixed-price thing, and there were huge lulls between courses. We probably waited 10-15 minutes for soup, and we were both thinking "Can they not find the ladle back there?" I have heard the portions here are big, so I was prepared for leftovers. Didn't happen! Not sure if that was the deal with the fixed price thing or if all the dishes were that size. I ordered honey shrimp, which is supposed to be a specialty, but how special is frozen breaded shrimp, really? Husband got mongolian beef, which he liked but wasn't blown away by. The dessert choices that come with the meal were those shotglass desserts, which was dissapointing because I did want to try those banana rolls that everyone here has raved about. I had the s'mores shot and it was sickeningly sweet... kind of like eating a double shot of ice cream toppings. Good, but not what I wanted... AND I was ready for a shot of insulin afterwards. I have heard that their drinks are fabulous, and I was eyeing up a pear martini a few tables down, but we did not partake. So, we went here for Valentines Day. This was our first time there. It was very busy and we had a reservation so we barely had a wait compared to the 40 min wait they were on (that's to be expected on a busy holiday) Server greeted us promptly with name and asked if we wanted drinks. Ordered Firecracker chicken. Asked for it to be less spicy but the server said it was more "smokey" than hot. Not true. Three bites in and all of my rice later i was so uncomfortable i thought i might throw up. It was upsetting because modifications like that are possible ...and it seemed like it wasn't even an attempt. I had a back up order if she told me it couldn't be done but she told me not to worry. Had a pear mojito. It was okay, i wouldnt order it again it wasnt anything special. (recommended over the spec. cocktail when we asked the server) Salmon was the other dish at the table...that was also not really something worth coming back for. Dessert was cheesecake...very disappointing. No real taste, not fresh. How do you mess up cheesecake? I did have a key lime martini that was awesome...and would like that again. Overall...it was an okay experience. Cool atmosphere and design. The tables are close though and not many booths for smaller parties. I might go back again,but I wont go out of my way for it. The food really isnt that exciting and the service was okay but nothing above and beyond. It's like expensive smaller portion of Chinese take out in a fancy diner room. Went here tonight with the wife. I made a 6PM reservation online. Showed up at 5:50 & was told it'd be a "few minutes", was given a buzzer. At 6:15 with no buzzer going off I went back to the hostess & asked for the ETA.. was seated at 6:20. Now a 20 min. Wait is normal, but NOT if you had a reservation at 6. We had a 7:30 movie we already had purchased tickets for down the road @Brandywine Regal, so the would be good timed dinner now had to be rushed. I'd say a comp. on an appetizer or something would be given for a 20 min. wait on a reservation without proper waiting time expectations, but nothing was offered. PF Chang's made a very good first impression. After you're greeted by the horses and enter what looks like a dining palace, you have a huge menu of options. The food is kind of what you'd find at a local chinese takeout but also fancier versions and creations. Hard to explain, you gotta try it out for yourself. Mongolian Beef and Crab Fried Rice were really good. Chicken with black bean sauce was ok. And the Shanghai Shrimp didn't live up to my expectations. This P.F. Chang's has a bad vibe and I suspected there were problems when we came in on a Friday night at 615 and the place was empty. Not to mention the manager was sitting outside on a bench at 615 on a Friday night which is a huge red flag. The food was terrible, portions were ridiculously small and the rice was over cooked just to name a few issues. It was beyond obvious that there was no one in control of this restaurant. Went there for dinner with our granddaughter and the service was excellent, the food was fair, and post experience extremely poor. I left my credit card there and called an hour later to report it. We told the manager that we would be out of town for 5 days and they assured us it would be stored in the safe. When I came back to get the card, the manager told me they shredded it. Ribs are excellent as always. I sat at the bar and the bartender was fast, very nce, and helpful in getting me what I wanted. My food was delivered to my bar seat in less than 5 minutes. It was 230 PM on Saturday so it was not very busy, but the food was fast, delicious and hot. My beverages were good as well. My sister and I ate here on 3/19/19, our server's name was Lucy and she was great, however, when we were seated we ordered water and hot tea, the tea cups were dirty and the utensils were as well. The manager Frank came to our table and he was very nice. Our entrees came out, I ordered sesame chicken, the food was not hot, my sister ordered the Mongolian beef with shrimp, her food was full of grease....overall it was the worse experience ever at PF Changs and I would never come back. Every year my family goes before seeing the Xmas lights! We drive from Philadelphia and stop for dinner. We did call ahead and when we got there they only planned for 5 but we had 3 toddlers too. They scrabbled looked annoyed but 15 minutes later sat us (it was just us in waiting area). We sit and 5, 10, 15 minutes go by ... no one checked on us. We ask a waiter who is our server ... he said I hunted her down she will be over! 27 minutes after sitting the waitress intros herself apologized and said that no one said she had a new table. She did her best but was stationed at other side of restaurant. We sat with no drinks, hungry crying kids totally ridiculous! The waitress finally got our beer and said I am so sorry about this so dessert is on her. Different people helping serve our table no consistency forgetting to bring many things! I asked for a black plastic take out container for the meal on my plate I didn't get to eat ( we had timed tickets and after this wait were very late) and was told that "we can only give them for deserts or take out" I said I get the paper take out but I have a whole plate I don't want to dump into one paper take out container. She brought one and said she was able to get one ... like it was gold! She said do you want desert it was on them for the poor service that she acknowledged ... and by the way we are easy people ..., so yeah sure! ...we ordered one desert to share only because we had to leave ... good thing she put the complimentary desert on the bill 10 bucks! ..... our waitress was nice but frazzled! 2-3 years ago I would have given PF CHANGS a 5 star review but it has constantly gotten worse over time. The prices have gone up and the portions have gone down. The quality & recipes still remain semi-OK but I have noticed the changes they have made to favorite dishes aren't as delicious as they used to be. Karen was our server today and she made our afternoon visit great ! Our visit was for my birthday so we started with some nice drinks I got the asian pear mojito and my husband got the whiskey sour both were delicious . The sushi rolls are a regular for me and was perfect as always . My husband had the northern style spare ribs that no lie feel off the bone they were not only delicious but cooked just right ! Years ago I worked in this area and loved the PF Chang's lettuce wraps. I tried the Ginger Chicken ($10) and a spring roll ($2) for lunch pick up today. The Ginger Chicken flavor was good bu the broccoli was limp (overcooked) and they only gave me 4-5 very small pieces which is NOTHING like the amount of food they show in the picture on the website. The spring roll was dripping grease. I won't be going back again. I'd be better off at a chinese takeout spot-paying 25-30% less and getting better food and average or larger portions. read more

Amazed to find out there was a 30 minute wait on a Sunday evening. I never have very high expectations for chain restaurants and this place didn't do anything to change that. It was clear that they were overwhelmed by the amount of diners and not staffed properly. Our server was pleasant and apologetic for the long wait. The drink menu invites you to "ask about local beers." So I asked our server if she could tell me what local beers were available and she said no! . After a long pause I realized that she had no intention of walking 50 feet to the bar to find out, so I ordered one of the beers listed. After a fairly long wait the beer was delivered and it was cold. The food took forever to come out of the kitchen, but again, it really wasn't the staff's fault. They were overwhelmed. The food was exactly what you would expect from a chain. Nothing great, but good enough. I'll probably give it another try in the future, but I'll be sure to first walk by the bar and ask the bartender what local beers they have available. read more

There are NO complaints about the food. None. It was wonderful as always. We love P.F. Chang's, but last night, I was very disappointed with our service. We were told there would be a 35-45 minutes wait, but we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes before being seated. That's where the positives about service ends. We waited more than 10 minutes before ever seeing our waitress (we saw her go to 4 other tables so it doesn't seem like she was overtaxed). We ordered drinks and the dinner for two (soups, appetizers, and entrees). We waited another 10+ minutes for anything. Our appetizer came out and we ate about half of it before our waitress brought our drinks. My hot tea was lukewarm. The soups and appetizers were delicious, but our empty plate sat (usually someone quickly picks up empty plates) until someone brought our food. By this point, we had also been waiting for drink refills for several minutes. I asked to speak to a manager and told him that while our waitress was nice, she was lagging. I told him we were very disappointed with the waiting. After speaking to the manager, our waitress became very rude and worse overall. She brought refills and slammed them down on the table. The manager offered us a bigger dessert for no charge, but she told us that we could only get dessert wontons. I asked for an appetizer to-go for my boyfriend, and she rolled her eyes (blatantly). Overall, the manager was wonderful. He was very apologetic, took half of our bill off, and gave us three coupons for free appetizers. This experience will not keep us from coming to Chang's again, but if I was ever seated in this server's area again, I would leave. read more

Stopped here on Saturday Oct. 5th. We started with the veggie spring rolls. They tasted ok, but were very greasy. I had the kung pau chicken with brown rice. The rice had black grains in it, most likey from not being picked through before being prepared.It was very dry.My wife had the pad thai. Most of the carrots in her dish had black spots on them and the scallions were obviously well past fresh. I informed the server who stated " Thanks, I will let the kitchen know." Went there for my first time and was glad I did. The food is reasonably priced when you consider the portion sizes they give you. I'm definitely going to start coming here a lot more often. To me: the liquor prices are a little exaggerated but to each their own. Their non alcoholic beverages are surprisingly better than I thought they'd be. The service was good. The decor was new to me.
