Yikes. I haven't had PF Chang's in years. We live in LA and don't have one close to us so when I saw one in Sunnyvale while visiting I thought- why not? Last time we tried it - we were in Chicago and it was pretty good. Got the Mongolian beef- burnt beef. The hot and sour soup my mom whom is Chinese called it inedible and the worst hot and sour soup she has tasted. We had to throw it away. The chow mein was not bad but it tastes like Panda Express chow mein. Overall I would never come back especially for the price. We paid $100 and I could have gotten 9 Sweetgreen bowls that I know are 1000 times better than the dinner I had last night. I only added 1 star for service since everyone seemed nice. read more

Okay food, normally it's a great family spot. Super busy on the weekends, expect a minimum 30 minute wait. Food portions are okay normally food taste great but it's not consistent sometimes orders are heavy on the sauce. Dessert not so great, your better off going else where for dessert. A Chinese restaurant that's in the same wheelhouse as BJ's or Cheesecake in terms of atmosphere and price -- food is fairly good and I was generally a fan of the dishes I got! It wasn't as expensive as I remember, but obviously expect to pay a bit more than traditional takeout. This location is pretty nice atmosphere-wise, with dimmer lighting. The service was also really nice and answered any questions we had! The appetizer spring rolls were fairly skippable -- they tasted like the oil was a little old and there were only two per order so not worth the price. The rest of the food was super tasty, though! The miso ramen and stirred eggplant were great, especially because I was worried about not having any vegetarian options. The ramen had a rich broth and could be altered to our liking (no tomatoes). The stirred eggplant was also really tasty and had hints of sweetness without being overwhelming. We got the banana spring roll for dessert and HIGHLY recommend you do the same -- the fried banana tasted great with coconut ice cream! Overall, a fun spot with good food and service, though nothing I'd go out of my way for. read more

Ribs not as "fall of the bone" as they used to be. (-1) Lettuce wrap used to come with 3 sauces so you could mix your sauce to taste ... nowadays it is a preset sauce ... blah. (-1) Tried desperately to get some help with additional seasonings ... finally waved down somebody else's waiter and got some help. (-1) Still like the background music they provide to set the mood. He kept coming to our table to make sure we didn't need anything . Food: 2.5-3 stars The food was average. My husband and I ordered Chang's Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps as a starter and two Signature Lo Mein as main courses . The starter was good, but the main dishes weren't anything especial and flat in flavors. The taste and the quality of food were Like having Panda Express food but in a fancy bowl and of course at double the price. I haven't been to a P.F. Chang's in probably 15 years so I did not know what to expect. I was overjoyed to find that it is still the same, delicious, flavorful food, with a really fun and vibrant vibe! We sat in the main open area. Yes it is a little loud. Yes there are families and kids. We went at 7:30 pm on a Saturday evening. I loved the garlicky blistered green beans. The salt and pepper shrimp were addictive. The ribs were mouthwatering and the 5 spice is so good. A glass and a half of wine is an option? Yes please. The waiter checked in on us with a smile several times. read more

Food sucks, one server at the bar was so rude to me because I told her that your colleague was more generous with her pour and actually your food is not that good. I can't believe we as consumers are keeping such places open for business with terrible food quality and rude service. I think we should all boycott such big establishments who don't value our generosity, This was my last visit to this place and they will loose much more than one client. PF Chang's has long been a family favorite when seeking out flavorful, consistent vegetarian dishes, and my recent visit for take out lived up to all my memories. That staff was super accommodating with customizations to my order and the wait time for the food, which came out very fresh, was short. The chili sauce that goes on the eggplant dish is divine (it actually would be good with any stir fry), and it's great to have clear indications of what is vegetarian on the menu. Update, I forgot and we went there again last night . The waiter was nice, but it took 10 minutes to come to the table and they weren't busy. We were seated close by the bar so I could see the bartender mess with the tv for 15 minutes before he noticed our drink order and actually pour a beer and make a rum & coke. BTW manager, he pours beers by overflowing the glass until it's almost all beer instead of taking the time to pour it correctly. That is a huge loss of product and $. If you ever watch bar rescue that is always something they flag. Food was okay. I liked the brussel sprouts. Why does the king pao tuna roll have so much fake crab? My bad for not reading the description (from my phone since they no longer have menus) but it overpowered the roll and was awful. We were a party of six and had a reservation at 6:30 pm. Upon arrival, we were sat immediately by the host. Our server came by and greeted us and took down our drinks and appetizer order. The food was delicious. I couldn't get enough of their Dynamite Roll. It came by in a smoke filled chamber that was released when the plate was placed on the table. Everything on their menu was family style. We ordered the pepper steak and their honey shrimp twice! The lo mein and fried rice were also tasty. The service was fast, and the server was very accommodating. At the end of it all, I got to choose a dessert for my birthday, and I went with the Chocolate souffle. It was served with vanilla ice cream and raspberry syrup. They brought out my dessert with a sparkler! I left feeling happy and full. We'll have to go back to try the other entrée. read more

I had PF Chang's on Friday two days ago after work. My family was supposed to come in out of town for my birthday that night but the storm unfortunately had them canceled. I was told to come to PF Chang's after work and to request a server name "Ryan" and to sit in his section. I had no idea why but I was soon to find out. I walk in there, holding my surprise bouquet of beautiful flowers and cupcakes from work, already feeling a bit awkward from bringing the items in and underdress from getting off work, requesting for a server name "Ryan" and to sit in his section. I get sat at a pretty table, and a nice gentleman comes over to start to take my order until he gets interrupted by another gentleman (and who I found quite cute ), who is the correct server, Ryan. We chat a bit and I tell him about the family canceling and that I was to come to PF Chang's to request him personally. He smiled kindly and asked (after asking for my allergies and preferences) if I trusted him with picking the food and drinks. Me being the adventurous type thought why not? I was told to ask him personally so why not see what would happened? It was...phenomenal! With care, he made sure to bring out delicious cocktails and appetizers to start, even warm water (Ryan really paid attention when asking what I liked/disliked and drinking warm water is one of my favorite weird things to drink lol). I had delicious entrees and a surprise dessert too! The others who dropped some of the dishes were very nice too! I haven't been in a PF Chang's over 10 years but that night was worth it! I would definitely go back after how well they treat their guests. The server,Ryan, and help went above and beyond, it made me feel extra special. The chef and cooks who made the food, thank you making delicious food! I loved every bite (even if I couldn't finish it and took the rest home lol). Ryan had me laughing and smiling all night! Oh my goodness! P.F. is back to being the best of what they do. It was so good! Lettuce wraps are better than before. They had gotten kinda just so so but it looks like management has improved and stepped up. I never thought I would give 5 star for an pick up order. I have ordered chocolate cake with an extra sauce. Honestly, I simply added extra sauce assuming they will forgot those special instructions. But no, they do care about them and follow. The cake as usual at BEST and with strawberry sauce it is like most delicious dessert ever. We always come here on New Year's Eve. We ordered for one of the entrée Crispy Honey chicken. We had it many of times, but this time it tasted and looked different. It wasn't very good. I asked the waiter and he even said , it looks different too. I noticed on the menu they have a new entrée Orange chicken. Maybe I'm wrong here, but maybe they think they can serve Orange chicken and tell us it's Crispy honey chicken. The waiter credit us for the entrée. Be careful when ordering Crispy honey chicken.
