First time walking in, no line. They took me in right away. John was such a sweetheart. I asked for a manicure, full set, and a matte finish. Total of $44 which I thought was great after seeing how much work goes into it. He did an amazing job. I hadn't gotten acrylics in years.. if ever! I'm loving my nails. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the guy who did my gel manicure did a really nice job. Other than that my pedicure experience was HORRIBLE!!! Another man came up and started on my pedicure, he was so INCREDIBLY rough with me!!! Literally grabbing my foot and turning my foot every which way hard! I didn't say anything at first to not make it a big thing.. but it just got rougher finally I said could "could you try and not be so rough please!" He got up and someone else came and finished. My favorite place by far. Found Emily and have never gone to another establishment. Yes the staff talk in their language, and at times it's loud, but the results of the nails are wonderful. This is the most welcoming nail place I have ever been to. Thier customer service is on point. when it comes to taking you in when your appointment time is up. When, & if you feel you're not completely happy with any of their work, they will be sure to fix the problem right away so you can walk out of there a very satisfied customer, & happy with your outcome on your finger nails, & toe nails along with anything else you may go in for. I get my nails done with (Peter) he's the best!. (Nikki) is great at hand nail designs. (Molly) as the owner / person in charge is very friendly, respectful, welcoming, & makes sure that your every request is meet to your satisfaction. Avoid this place. They don't use sterile tools. I sat there for a gel manicure and the person doing my nails was about to use tools that had not been sterilized she sprayed with alcohol in front of my face and when I said no she got all nervous she could barely open the new kit. The pedicure chairs do not get disinfected after used they don't even rinse them I watched them let people leave and new clients sit right after without cleaning them. And at the end when I was paying the person who helped me was rude I'm not sure why because I didn't say anything to her but it seems that I offended her when I asked to open a new tool kit in front of me like they should be doing. They definitely don't sterile their tools nor disinfect the pedicure chairs because the employee that did my pedicure this past Sunday (1/29/17) made my toe bleed and sure enough the day after my toe was infected and had pus coming out. I have been to PI nails many times. I will drop off my 12 year old to get her services done and they treat her like a princess. Molly does the best waxing, she is very detailed. My sister and friends all go to PI nails, we live in Downey and its easy in and easy out. The staff there is very friendly and try to get to you as soon as possible even if they are busy. read more

Worst experience of my entire life. My pedicure took them 15 min... Then the girl cut me on my right toe (took a small chunk of skin) and she then spent the next 15 min stoping the blood instead of doing my feet. My hand nails were painted really ugly.. And while I was getting nails done.. They had me wash my hands in the tub!!!!!!! They opened spray and he took soap from catty and had me rinse off right there. While I'm waiting for my nails both hands and feet to dry... She had me open and then move my legs to clean the foot spa.... Yes, while I was still sitting on it. And I'm pretty sure they re use the pumice scrubbers. After I complained about my heals looking nasty and dried.. She decided to rub cream on it. Im awaiting this cut to get infected. It seems like they're in such a rush to get the next client for more money.. Takin your time with paying client should be common sense and a part of your work ethic. I come here bc of Peter. He's great with nails, friendly and professional. Unfortunately I can't say the same about all of the staff. Their pedicure tubs were always filthy... every time I would go for a pedicure I found extra skin floating and had to ask them to rewash the tub before my pedicure... now they use plastic covers which is good. Most of the staff is usually grouchy and rude... Even Molly comes across rude... I wanted to give her feedback on an employee of hers but feel like she'll just tell me not to come back and I'm sorry, but I have not found anyone to replace Peter!! read more

Bad service. Horrible dip nails, too thin and uneven. Put on a different color than I asked for. The first time I had come they told me it would be 10 min wait but did not get helped until 40 min later. I said I did not callus remover and they did it anyways and charged me for it. read more

Great service and they always do a awesome job on my nails but their sanitary conditions are a joke. Not only did I get fungi on my acrylics but on my big toe too! I've been coming here for years.I gave my nails a break before I went back (they were totally healthy and clean) last time I went back I ended up with a toe fungi and my acrylics had yellow spots underneath. Not once did I ever have this problem until I went back that day. Never again! read more

Found this place just by driving past. I work in the area and needed a pedi BAD. The place looked nice from the outside so I decided to give them a try. It was around lunchtime and it wasn't busy (maybe one or two other people in there). I was seated right away and Nancy did my pedicure. I can say with confidence that this was in my top 3 of pedicures (the other 2 being at pricier spas). Nancy took her time and was thorough and didn't try to upsell me on anything. I had a sore heel from my new shoes and she took care to avoid hurting it more when she was doing my exfoliation (she even helped me bandage it so it wouldn't get worse). The French pedicure came out lovely. Oh, and Nancy even gave me the disposable flops in pink, to match my top :) One thing I also liked was that they spoke English to one another while I was getting my pedicure. I didn't have to wonder whether or not they were making fun of my badly neglected feet, which I sometimes wonder about at other places. Definitely made me more comfortable. I will definitely be back. I reccommend going around lunch, if you can, if you don't like waiting. read more

I gave this place a 2nd chance and again they did us wrong. My daughter and I both ask repeating it twice asking for the cost -the lady assure us sand gave us a Price. Again, when it comes time to pay they charge us more. No additional services exactly what we asked for and we were quoted suddenly became a much higher price for no reason. I came to get a new gel manicure here because my old one was growing out. I am so disappointed. I have never had such a horrible gel manicure in my life! They are very rough on your nails. They shaped my nails very uneven and short after I had asked her not to make them any shorter(than they already are). Also, it's Monday, they weren't busy, and they were so impatient they only gave me a minute to pick a color before they started moving me around and snatched them from me. Ive been here before for a pedicure but never a full acrylic set and never again will I spend my money here. My nails were HORRIBLY done I shouldve stayed to have them fix my nails. It was just so upsetting I had to leave. I had 2 different people do my nails a guy applied the nails and a woman who was obviously in a hurry polished my nails...the nail polish was sloppy YOU CAN TOTALLY SEE WHERE THIS LADY MISSED WITH THE TOP COAT to top it off when she was done she just got up and left to another station she didnt even say ok your done NOTHING. ..OH BUT THEY MADE SURE I PAID!!!!! I CAME HOME AND FIXED MY OWN NAILS...THE FUNNY THING IS EVEN MY HUSBAND NOTICED HOW HORRIBLE THEY WERE... I come here occasionally, I guess not enough to get the VIP treatment and by VIP I mean basic customer service. The place is definitely on the downfall. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and attribute their lack of service to this sweltering heat. Probably won't be coming here again and instead will be making the drive a couple blocks down to Lana's nail salon. They are not nice here, obviously talk about you in front of you even though the owner speaks perfect English and their pedicures are nothing special. Walked in, took me and my friend in right away. I got a full set (acrylic w/gel polish) and a spa pedicure. Both were good, but nothing special. I actually think it was overpriced. I paid $56! Maybe If I got an amazing foot scrub, with sea salt or callus remover and long nails with a design...then okay maybe....but I didn't. They have a variety of services, full sets, mani pedi massage chairs, pink and white, waxing, facials and my new favorite gel manicures. My unlucky day! The woman that did my manicure was rude and acted as I if was an inconvenience. I assume she is the manager bc she was handling the money at the salon. She would go walk around take care of business and then come back to continue on my nails. On top of that she was preoccupied asking another employee "Peter" about his swimming lessons. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, the facilities are clean and orderly, and the service is always outstanding. Molly, the manager is great and always goes above and beyond for her customers and hires talented nail technicians who follow suit.
