This tiny restaurant is homey and sweet. You feel like you stepped off the streets of Bandon into an Buenos Aires. The staff treats you like family. The food was yummy! Delicious Malbec Wine with a Fabulous Ribeye with Chimichurri sauce,homemade pasta with Albodingas, and Skirt steak with cheese and tomatoes. Excellent food served by very friendly people who really care about the food they put in front of you. You'll feel as if you are having a meal prepared at home with. Pablo's food is all made from scratch, it's organic and fresh. His beef is locally raised, grass fed, organic and slow cooked to perfection in his homemade outdoor clay oven. For breakfast we had truly one of the best huevos rancheros, and beef asada burritos we've ever had. For last night's dinner we had his beautiful asada salad with spinach and strawberries. I'm not sure if what other place in Bandon may offer a unique experience, but Pablo's Corner has the kind of food that took me back to Argentina. Some Mexican flavors mixed in, the best dishes are the empanada and the Pastel de Tres Leches. I recommend visiting as soon as possible. read more

She is very very personable. the place is small inside but we didn't care about that because we took our order to go anyway. We ordered the tacos special and the chicken burrito. What a little gem this place is. My husband and I ate there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The owners are so nice and the food, oh the food is amazing. I also had a mimosa and the juice was so fresh, no really she freshly squeezed it and it was amazing. Both items that we got (my husband and I shared) were super yummy and fresh, the outdoor seating was great, it was a windy day but the way it is situated you are pretty well protected. Excellent in all ways. Last night friends took me here for my first time and I'm still thinking about it. The meal was excellent. I had the smoked salmon ravioli and they were the best ravioli in my life and I'm Italian from New York. The salad was good although it would have been nice to have some tomatoes and beans in it, but that's my personal preference. Since I'm mostly vegan, it would have been nice to have some veggies with the ravioli but again, the ravioli were excellent as well as the sauce that came with it, also the best I've ever had. The waitress was excellent (am I over-using 'excellent'?) She was prompt, got everything we asked for the first time and was friendly yet professional. My friend ordered a steak and we saw the chef (Pablo) go outside and pick some fresh rosemary to cook it. Don't get any fresher than that. So many locals know of this place now and it only has a few tables I wish for Pablo to get a bigger place. A number of locals came to get take-out orders which makes sense. read more

We stopped through on our way south and discovered a charming little eatery with a pleasant, friendly staff and delicious, well cooked Argentinian food. It was a cozy, homey environment with a carefully prepared organic menu. My husband's Huevos Rancheros contained pork that had been roasted in a wood oven for 7 hours prior to serving. After a vacation's worth of sea food we tried Pablos for dinner. Best Decision Ever. Small (four tables: two of them are outside in "bubbles") but personable service from staff and Chef Pablo himself. The food was amazing - Argentinian ribeye with Chimichurri was the highlight. Make sure you save room for their lemon bar with rum-soaked fresh peaches and blueberries. Worth a little patience for a meal you won't forget! read more

I walked in at 7:20pm on a Thursday night. The restaurant has only 3 tables inside and 2 tables outside. Only 2 tables were seated w customers. I sat down and was given a menu on a clipboard. 2 appetizers, 1 salad, only ONE entree (a ribeye steak at $55). Before I was presented w menu, a big guy came out from kitchen and kind of "eyeballing " me. There was a woman behind the cash register was probably his wife speaking to each other (about me ?) No, I'm not racist but being treated like a sucker was not very nice. I walked out without exchanging any words. If you like to be treated like me, go ! We were looking forward to eating at Pablo's for months and finally made it in. I had the rib eye and it was half meat half fat and not med/rare. Don't get this wrong a little marbling is critical but trim it!! The waitress recommended a wine from Argentina and said "if you don't like it, just give it to me" We didn't know what to think? Hubby and I have been traveling touring caves and lighthouses and we came across this small hole in the wall called Pablo's corner. Pablo the owner is from Argentina. All his food is organic fresh food. He didn't have some of the items on his menu but his substitutions were quite great. If you ever come across the Oregon area near Bandon come check his place out. Well worth the drive. He has a nice little outdoor seating area with a water fountain and his pizza oven is used for cooking his ribs, steaks meats etc. which adds fantastic flavor by the way. The dinner was fabulous, fresh salad, tasty potatoes with butternut squash and a glass of yummy Argentinean Malbec wine. The Chimichurri steak was delicious though a bit tough. What a wonderful gem tucked into the corner of Main Street. We visited in October so the sidewalk was to cold to sit outside. In side we found simple tables and decor. The server was friendly and Pablo could be heard in the kitchen as it is 10' away. It's like eating in his home and he is whipping up a meal just for you. Being the beginning of the off season they were out of several things. We did wonder if we had pick the right place for dinner but once the food arrived we know we would be back to this charming gem tucked away just off Main Street. read more

My wife and I are working our way down the Oregon coast and spent two nights in Bandon. Pablo's corner was a wonderful surprise. He and Betsy welcomed us like family to their 4- table restaurant (4 more outside). The kitchen is open in front of you, and all food is freshly prepared and organic. I had the pasta and chose both the pork and shredded beef. Pablo stopped by and suggested that he serve each of the meats separately beside the pasta. The meat is slow cooked in a wood fired brick outdoor roasting oven which made it some of the tastiest that I've had. The pasta was perfectly al dente with fresh vegetables and a light sauce. Salad was served family style with a balsamic vinaigrette that did not overwhelm the leaf flavors. My wife had the grass-fed ribeye steak with fresh vegetables and a house sauce. Personally, I don't like sauce of any type on my steak, but she enjoyed it. We shared a satisfying bottle of Argentine Malbec which was reasonably priced. If I am ever in Bandon again, I will definitely be stopping by here for dinner. read more

The food is amazing and stands out as some of the best food I have had in my travels in the U.S. and abroad. Pablo has a gift when it comes to flavorful, unique food creations. We called and made reservations for Saturday night based on the positive reviews. My husband and I both loved our meals so much that we came back for brunch and dinner the next day. I had the ribeye with a sweet paprika chimichurri garnish and butternut squash with a sprig of crispy rosemary. The ribeye was slightly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was the best ribeye I have ever had. My husband had the fresh made pasta with beef ragu. A fresh green salad comes with dinner. We ended the dinner with a semifredo (chocolate cake layered with ice cream and drizzled with rum). It was so amazing we had to have it for dessert last night too! The second night we tried the fried cheese garnished with the chimicurri (who doesn't like crispy fried cheese?). Last night I had to have the ribeye again and my husband tried Pablo's special of the night, which was a sweet paprika coated and lightly fried chicken breast topped with a thin layer of cheese, ham, and garnished with a couple slices of olive. Somehow his marinated meats are cooked so they are slightly crispy on the outside and remain moist on the inside. Wow! The place is small so on weekend nights a reservation is probably needed (we called and got a table reservation for an hour later for a Saturday night in January and the place was at capacity). The menu is not extensive but it doesn't need to be because all the food is excellent and is being made by Pablo himself. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and interacting with Pablo and the other dinner guests. read more
