    The dimsum at this place was quite disappointing. I haven't been for almost 10+ years and decided to give the dimsum here a try again. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. There's way better dimsum spots in the area so I would suggest steering clear of this place. We came around noon to 1pm and already the amount and variety of dishes were limited. Most of the typical dimsum dishes we tried were quite mediocre with some tasting bad and I'm not even sure how fresh they were because they seemed to be on the carts for a while. In one of the pictures you can see how little filling were in one of the glutinous crispy meat dumplings. The one pro was the crispy durian dessert. That was delicious and they were very generous with their durian filling. Overall: pricy and below mediocre except the durian puff!

    Good options and busy dimsum with carts not bad price on each item. They have tofu pudding and custard bun and the egg yolk lava bun that's quite explosive be careful lol yummy tho.

    I used to come here often and the dim sum was good. I was highly disappointed coming here recently. The food is still delicious but the customer service has gone downhill. With that being said, I know when you're in Chinatown at a Chinese restaurant you don't expect good service but this was horrible. We were here from 10am-12pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was probably half full. Often times the cart ladies would pass our table and not stop asking if we wanted anything. When we called for them they wouldn't stop or turn around, we literally had to chase them down. Many of the workers did not understand Cantonese or English, thankfully my sister in law spoke mandarin. We asked multiple times for cups of water as well as a fork for my niece and it was never brought around. We will be going to a different dim sum restaurant moving forward.

    Not as good as the places Ive been in flushing. And the smell of cigarettes coming in from the street is pretty horrid. This place is located on the second floor, as we were leaving, we saw a man smoking right around the stairs. Yuck. Overall most of the items that we have were pretty tasty. We order a few menu items including the salted fish with eggplant and chicken casserole, beef chow fun, bean curd with mushroom. The items were mostly pretty tasty. We also got something some items and somewhere better than the others. The steamed sticky rice in those lotus leaf or pretty good. Also had the daikon cake, the sesame balls (thought it had red bean but it was empty) and the rice paper rolls and those were honestly pretty disappointing. The Chrysanthemum tea was really good though and so was the service. Overall, decent spot but definitely not the best. Also price was a bit steep imo. Salted fish with eggplant and chicken casserole was $27 bucks which is a bit outrageous IMO

    Came here for Dimsum. Overall, the main dimsum place in 8Ave I think. I think the quality here is just okay and it became so much worse then last time I was here. The food was borderline cold and wasn't as good as before, either the chef changed or I just came at a bad time. Egg tart and tea was the only redeeming grace.

    A couple blocks away from the N train station. But beware though, you'll have to walk through the streets with the fish markets and vegetable stands to get here and it can get crowded. The restaurant is on the second floor and there is plenty of seating. Didn't have to wait for a table on a Saturday which was good. However, when I was seated at a table the waiter immediately asked me what tea you want in mandarin. I told her that I needed to wait until the rest of party my party arrived but instead of waiting she kept asking and ended up bringing me a random pot of tea. Unfortunately, I did not like the tea of her choice and asked her to change it. The atmosphere is your typical dim sum place. We were right next to the kitchen and constantly smelled smoking in our area. Not sure if it's the cooks smoking? Food ordered: - Spare ribs - Beef tripe - Crispy Spring Roll - Fried dough rice noodle rolls - Beef Rice Noodle Roll - Shu Sui Mai/Steamed Pork Dumpling - Ha Gaw/Shrimp Dumpling - Pan Fried Pepper Stuffed w/Shrimp - Pan Fried Turnip Cake - Pea shoot dumpling The flavor of each dish was pretty bland. Not sure if it's because the restaurant is in a Fujianese neighborhood so the seasoning is more tailored to their taste? Majority of dishes was large and a couple medium. Most of the dishes weren't very warm which is due to not having a lot of those steel carts that keep the food warm. Total came out to be $53 without tips and I think that it is pretty average for dim sum.

    I've been here a few times over the years, and I swear this place gets smaller and smaller, which doesn't make sense. But I do remember that it used to be so popular and busy that we would have to line up in order to get in. Nowadays, there's barely any line, and there are only 2-3 carts going around. A lot of us ended up getting up from our tables and going to the back corner to get the good ourselves because the carts just never came or went around. We ended up barely eating much, and there seemed to be almost no variety in the dim sum. It was really sad and disappointing. Fortunately, the food was still pretty decent and the decor was still as nice as before. Service absolutely sucked though.

    The place inside is huge yet there is still always a wait which means the food is pretty good! It's lit nicely and they had a ticketing system of numbers on paper in order. The red crusted shrimp balls were tasty and very pretty! It was strange that the server did not know what the food item was tho. The curry octopus also wasn't that good and too chewy. However, everything else was really good! I enjoyed the clams and the chicken feet the most. I love how there are carts that are pushed around so you can order whatever looks good on there instead of straight off a menu!

    Came here to grab some breakfast dim sum with friends to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. The paper menu is for checking off and located inside by the register (which confused people who lined up thinking they line up to order when you can just grab the order paper). It is a tiny narrow space; hence many people just crowded the door (edging to get closer). It is limited menu but has more to offer than other restaurants. I ordered a bunch of stuff for friends & family but ended up on taking picture of one item LOL because it looked different. It had shredded carrots sprinkled over the fried dough rice rolls. Food was okay quality.

    Pretty much your typical dim sum place. They have a ton of space and super busy on the weekends still. The food are pretty good and they have a wide variety. Some of the better dishes are their shrimp stuffed egg plants and shrimp stuffed green peppers. Durians rolls are crispy with a slight sweetness which is a great way to end the meal. Pretty good dim sum place to hang out with family or friends.

    I so love Pacificana! I'm so glad that I got to go here last night after not being here in over a year. By far one of the best Cantonese restaurants in Brooklyn. Besides that you get to dine in literally a palace, their food is great. The pics I took were not the best and don't serve justice to how good their food is. I love the shrimp dumplings!! They are also following covid precautions much better compared to other places. Temperatures are checked, all plate settings are disposable, and tables are very distant from each other. Can't wait to come back!

    Yikes! It's a gorgeous interior and wow no wait for dim sum for a large (14) people on a Sunday at 1:30pm. Relatively many seats open actually. Tables are large, easily accommodating 12. (14 was a squeeze.) That being said, blegh a lot of the dim sum dishes were cold, particularly from the pastry cart. The baked cha shao bao was dead cold and even a tiny bit stale! Definitely not fresh. Makes me miss Tim Ho wan. You must watch out to see if the dish is coming from a steaming hot cart or not because it makes a big difference. The hot items like the shao mai and har gaw etc were fine but I thought they taste better from my local Rainbow Bakery actually. Better yet, ask the lady in the back corner to make your food fresh, or just order a la carte items off the menu. They get mad props for easily accommodating large parties and serving food super quickly though. So cheap ended up being close to $250 total.

For a Chinese restaurant which usually does not charge tax if you pay with cash, they charge tax here whether you pay by card or cash. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious. They have pretty large tables, suitable for parties and celebrations. There's a private space upstairs with 3 large tables for parties. The restaurant is pretty slow in the afternoon.

My rotation always includes the following-har gow, deep-fried noodlefish, shrimp cheong fun (rice noodle roll), zhaliang (fried dough rice noodle roll), chicken feet, and beef tripe-and now more recently, salt and pepper squid. I'm not even joking when I say this, but my mouth was salivating when they placed everything in front of us. Everything was fresh and just so full of flavor.
