It was either a really good Monday dinner service, or Pacific Seafood improved greatly! They had a paint refresh on the building, had more staff than what we were used to, and had a great selection tonight. Everything was cooked fresh and they were really keeping track of the food so it was on rotation. The Asian buffet near us stopped serving a few items, and I knew Pacific would still have them. Happy to say, I went home STUFFED. I highly recommend especially for a week day service since its much cheaper!

I've been frequenting this buffet for years! I love coming to Pacific because they offer a wide range of foods that cater to most anyone and the food is always delicious! They offer a selection of sushi, dim sum, Mongolian cooked to order in front of you, classic Chinese dishes and much more. Service is always friendly & the restaurant is clean making it a great spot for lunch or dinner!

If you're a pescatarian, seafood lover, or just a fan of all-you-can-eat feasts, Pacific Seafood Buffet is a must-try! For just $21 on weekends, you get an extensive variety of fresh seafood, hot cooked dishes, and even a build-your-own Mongolian BBQ station. The seafood selection is the highlight, featuring fresh sushi, sashimi, raw fish, and perfectly steamed fish, crab legs, shrimp, snails crawfish and clams. Each dish is prepared with care--standouts for me were the buttery sashimi and the tender steamed shellfish and fish. Beyond seafood, the buffet offers a surprising variety of hot cooked dishes, soups and meats, making it a hit even for non-seafood lovers. The Mongolian BBQ station is a fun touch, letting you customize your stir-fry with fresh ingredients and sauces. My recent Saturday night visit wasn't without its hiccups. The restaurant was packed, which is expected on weekends, but the vibe turned a bit chaotic due to kids running around and being left unattended at times. It didn't ruin the experience, but it did make navigating the buffet lines more challenging. On a sweeter note, the dessert bar is a must-visit! With an assortment of Asian-inspired sweets and classic treats, it's the perfect way to wrap up the meal. Why 4 Stars? The food is fresh and flavorful, and the variety is unbeatable for the price, but the bustling, chaotic atmosphere--especially with kids running amok--makes it hard to fully relax and enjoy the meal. Pro Tips: * Arrive early to avoid the peak chaos. * Bring your appetite--the variety here is no joke. * Don't miss the Mongolian BBQ and dessert bar--they're worth it!

Definitely went above my expectations! I liked the smaller feel of this buffet, not like it was packed or people waiting after one another. Also felt like that kept the food quality higher. The staff was very friendly, keeping our table cleared away and refilling our drinks. The stations were super clean as well. All the food I had was great, it was a buffet of course so there's going to be things that arent perfect (bbq pork was very dry, fried calamari was more boiled than fried) but everything was hot and had great flavor. Miso soup, Breaded shrimp, and the sweet rolls are a must have! It was $55 for 2 people with drinks after tax. Definitely will be returning!

The food was also presented beautifully! We left feeling very full with a bunch of leftovers to spare, which was great. The service was amazing - we had some questions about the food and our server gave us great answers + recommendations! We were seated quickly and the greeting we got when we came in (from I think the owner?) was very personable and welcoming. The ambiance was very lowkey and chill, and so we were surprised with how beautifully our food was presented! However, when we came back so excited for more it was a weird experience here. We came at 5pm especially to try the banana Bajji listed as an option between 5pm-7pm only to be told it's not available. Then tried to order the Kara Kuzhambu with the lentil dumplings and told lentil dumplings not available anymore only okra/ eggplant option for this. The restaurant vibe felt really odd in general. We kind of felt like they weren't sure if they wanted to be open right now or something. The tables were not clean from lunch and they didn't get back to us when we asked questions. We decided to leave and come back another time given the great first experience. The next day, we decided to try again at lunch when the restaurant seems to do most of the business and I called to double check they have the Kara Kuzhambu with eggplant/ okra options just in case and two people seemed to have no idea what I am talking about. I spelled it, explained it's on the menu and it's a tamarind based curry- nothing. The dish I tried here before was very good and I really appreciate that their menu is marked for allergies and different diets. It seems to be very popular among Indian people and a fun cultural experience at weekend brunch/ lunch. However, the service felt really weird and unwelcoming this time and with the dishes listed on the menu but not being available it was a let down. The waiter told us the banana bajji and the lentil dumplings were discontinued completely so it was a bummer they are still listed on the menu. This confusing and unwelcoming exprience led to a big rating difference from me even though I really liked the food I tried in my first visit as well as the atmosphere. Still happy for that super fun first memory here though! My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

The bathroom lights above the shower did not work, they would flicker then go off. The tissue box was empty at check in besides the tissue rose made on top. There were issues with the "mini bar" sensor at check in and someone had to come check on it later in the week. We didn't get service on some days of stay even with the "Service Please" Sign on the room door. The pool is open until 10pm, however the pool bar closes at 6pm and they had people exit their cabana rentals at 7pm. The drinks at the bar were severely over priced and mediocre at best. We paid $43 for 2 margaritas at the pool bar that tasted like blended water with a splash of margarita mix. The umbrellas at the pool had to be closed most of the time due to the winds, which also blew all types of debris and trash into the pools causing a bad look. One of our party was double charged at the pool bar, and they expressed that they could not reverse the charge and if they did it would take 7-10 days to return to the card, but refused to give us the extra drink because they couldn't serve more than 2 drinks within 30 minutes to the same person...even though there was 6 of us in the party and she was charged for 3 drinks, twice. Which could have been one per person in our party. The mobile bars within our evening reception drinks were higher priced in there than on the casino floor, so we all left our reception, to get drinks and come back. Drinks were on average $4-8 more than at the bar at the casino. One of the girls in our group personal cards was charged not only for the deposit amount for the stay but then the remainder of the balance for the first night and then again for the rest of her stay, causing her bank account to be nearly cleared out. In which the front desk staff told her there was nothing they could do, and that it would go back to her card Friday at the earliest (this was Tuesday). As we were there on business the rooms were prepaid with CC authorizations on file for the cost of the room rate + resort fees, so she was left with no money to pay for food or anything else for the rest of the week, and they could not provide any help and did not have any managers on property. We were able to track down a manager in a different department who was at least able to get her a food comp to pay for her meal thankfully. We were really excited to stay at Gila River, we had heard many great things about this property and were were unimpressed with the level of guest service.

My favorite part of the ambiance was the privacy curtains. Because tables are all next to each other I imagine it would be easy to see what other diners are doing, but the curtains add a sense of privacy that made us feel like we were almost dining alone.
