A great flavor on the Tom Yum soup. Citrus-y, umami, fresh mushrooms, and shrimp. Some of the best Pad Thai I have tasted and the beef and noodles in the Pad Kee Mao were cooked to perfection. I would say, some of the best Thai food available in Long Beach. The dining room is spacious and clean. There is a private lot with plenty of parking in the D&D Discount Store lot. They served my wife's soup way before our entrees so we couldn't eat together, so that sucked. But everything else was good. Note: They are closed on Weds and they also close between lunch and dinner service, so check the hours before coming.

Drove by this place for ages without realizing that it would be a great Thai bbq place. Easy and plenty of parking spaces. The place doesn't look like Thai restaurant, it's more of wooden oldies western style. Went here for dinner and got table right away. There was only one person working the whole place (front of the house that is). She was wonderful, friendly and nice person. She's fast too for 6 tables. She took the orders without writing it down (for us at least) and within 10-15mins, the foods start coming out. Big portion for the prices, great taste and great quality of the meats. Perfect seasoning since my kid literally ate them all and he's a picky eater. The place is clean, airy, funky but settle decoration (still got holiday decor up). Overall we enjoyed it a lot more than we thought with good foods & great services.

Great first time here. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The baked mussels and The Tiger Wings were really good, and the fried rice had huge shrimp. We finished with the tiramisu and it was delicious. The place was clean and the service was quick. Would definitely come back.

Came here based on the 4.5-star rating, but I should've read the reviews more carefully. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly, but that's where the positives end. The shrimp tempura was average. The strawberry lemonade was overly sweet and tasted artificial. The food quality was very disappointing. The crab fried rice was made with imitation crab, even though we were told it was fresh snow crab. All the fried rice dishes were overloaded with chunks of egg. The chicken pad Thai was not good at all--the chicken was tough, large, and clearly not fresh. We took a few bites of everything and couldn't continue eating. When I told the server we were unhappy, we were still charged the full $72 with no attempt to make it right! Would not return.

Alright yall if you've read my reviews before you know I'm very honest and I don't play with my food because my moto is FOOD IS LIFE!! I tried this place yesterday and it was amazing it was freshly cooked I ordered the seafood fried rice and it was delicious I contained lightly battered fish, shrimp, mussels, and I believe squid but don't quote me on it onion and tomato the sea food was cooked to perfection and didn't have a fishy smell , my partner ordered crab fired rice and the same with that the rice was cooked perfectly and the crab was found to be cooked to highly delicious standards as well we also ordered fried chicken egg rolls and those where to die for it was crispy without being soggy fully packed the staff was very polite as they stayed open even though they were about to close I didn't feel any anger or awkwardness as the guy offered to give suggestions on what to order as we had never been there before it's very peaceful and small so there's no over crowding during the day it gives a very welcoming vibe

Bad day to be a pad Thai! Delicious Thai restaurant located in a small plaza, they're scooping up all the Thai cravers on this hot July 4th whilst the other Thai spots are closed. Service is great would def recommend!

I came here today Monday around 11:30 am craving thai food. I saw their hours sign and understanding that they open at 12 I went to DDs to shop and come back.Coming back at 12:03 still surprised they weren't open yet. This really is a let down and misguiding towards customers. Please at least update your sign..

Love their Chicken Satay, Pad See Ew, and BBQ Combo number 1! Everything was wonderfully delightful! Service and ambience were amazing. Date night became available and after a rainy day I quickly looked for a good Soup spot, found this place and looked good not to far from the beach. So this place was perfect. Managed to get sunset and perfect dinner . Food. Wow did not disappoint! Waitress was so nice and freindly! Food was delicious!!! Soup was to the exact Flavor I was looking for. My wife stumbled upon this place on the way home from a disappointing stop earlier in the evening. We came it and it is definitely your classic old school Chinese restaurant look and feel but with some interesting wall art. Since they had beer and Alcohol we decided to give it a try. I must say the hole in the wall restaurants are some of the best. So we ordered beer the server very friendly and informative and you can tell he really cares about the food and restaurant really broke down the food and beer for us. They only had two bud lights so I asked for what he suggested next since they were limited on bud light and his suggestion for beer was great my friend had the hot curry and she loved it (make sure to go down one lower heat level just because she likes hot food and it was still a little hot for her but taste amazing) I got the Pat see ew and garlic beef and I got to say some of the best I have had in a long time and even my wife agreed . My friend got the orange chicken and ordered spicy was to die for. Super yummy and delicious evening and I will be coming back again soon it is that good. We had just came home from Fresno and we were lazy to make some dinner. My boyfriend wanted Thai food and came across this place. I placed an order through the phone since I saw that they had a discount. I called and spoke to a nice man. He took my order and I told him about the discount and he did let me know it was for second time orders but he did let me have a Thai tea for free. I was so happy about that. Upon arrival, there were a couple of people ahead of us waiting for their items. I can see the guy running around trying to get orders completed and pick up the phone. I felt so bad for him and yes our food took longer then expected but we didn't mind. I have worked in the customer service field before so I know how it is. Now on to the food. I ordered a chicken pad see ew and it was delicious. There was a lot of chicken in it so I was happy about that. My boyfriend ordered a chicken pad Thai and he loved it. We will definitely be coming back for the service and for the food. read more

I'm SO happy I found this place! They had vegetarian friendly options which I really appreciated. I ordered the orange tofu (comes with rice) and it was DELICIOUS. Super crispy and sweet. I also ordered passion fruit ice tea which was great. My friends really enjoyed their food as well. I will definitely be coming back! You must come and eat here! I've tried giving this place a try twice. The staff is super sweet and nice. My only complaint is that for the price the portions are not sufficient. You can find to go containers filled with noodles at LB Thai, Charm Siam, elephant Thai kitchen (I love pad Thai I've made it a point to find the best pad Thai in LB). You can find better noodles at a different Thai restaurant and one with significantly better portions. Both times the potions small containers were not filled up all the way. I really tried to like it but there's a lot better elsewhere! read more

I ordered takeout from here - their lunch special is a great deal! I got their pad thai for $8.50 and they really filled the take-out tray with pad thai! I'm sure that is probably 2 servings. I also got the papaya salad, and because this is more than $15, they gave me free egg rolls. My one complaint with the pad thai was that it was a bit on the sweeter side. I think that I would have preferred it to be a little bit more on the savory, funky fish-sauce-y side. I did like their egg rolls. Their papaya salad was spicy! If you are looking for a decently priced lunch, good portion size that tastes decent, this is your place! read more

FIRE!!! I recommend coming with friends and ordering different things off menu to share, serving sizes are decent. The crab cheese wontons are especially savory and come with a sweet sauce. The yellow curry perfectly balances out sweet and slightly savory and a hint of spice. Orange chicken actually is flavored with oranges! So much to try off of their menu. They deserve every positive review! read more

First time at Pad Thai classic. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken and shrimp. It was delicious! So much flavor and great texture in each bite. I cleaned up the plate at the end! I also ordered the veggie rolls and my sister enjoyed them. I'm grateful I ended my day at pad Thai. The service was incredible. Our waitress was attentive, considerate, and good energy. I hope management addresses both the customer service and the staff's attitude so that other guests don't have the same experience.

Shoutout to Pad Thai Classic! Seriously, the service here is so good. We called ahead to check how busy it was and Nicky answered and she was super sweet and even set a table aside for us before we arrived. The food? Amazing. We got both the Yellow and Penang curry, so flavorful! The egg rolls were super fresh, and the mint leaf beef on the tray was perfect! Also, tons of parking which is always a plus. Big thank you to Nicky for being such a great hostess and waitress. You made our night! read more

Ok, from the front "curb appeal" I was a bit pensive about this place. Looks are deceiving. Pad See Ew , chicken dumplings and garlic chicken wings were incredible. The restaurant was chilly but service was extremely attentive. The Chicken Coconut soup was wonderful in the chill. I am a big Thai fan. Everything was fresh and intentionally well prepared. Don't be fooled by the front and definitely try this place! read more

The ambiance is really nice and cozy; kind of like bar-ish/diner vibes. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly too. If you leave 2 reviews on Yelp, they give you 2 free apps of your choice (egg/shrimp rolls, crab cheese/fried wontons, or fried chicken dumplings) per table with no minimum meal required which we thought was really cool. Definitely excited to come back and try more things on the menu! read more

Absolutely delicious Thai food! The pork belly was incredibly fresh and flavorful--perfectly cooked and full of taste. The classic Thai dishes are authentic and made with care. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The restaurant was clean, with plenty of parking available. I've eaten at a bunch of Thai places lately, but this place nails it. I don't know much about Thai food, but I think the flavor in this restaurant is almost like a universally cherished flavor if you know what I mean. I have a feeling about 95% of customers will enjoy it. Plus the service was great and the gentleman (waiter) made the place very comfortable. Good vibes I will come back 100%. read more

I had a great experience at this spot! The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The combination pad see ew and the tom yum soup were delicious. What really made the visit even better was the excellent customer service! Our waitress was warm, attentive, and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. I'll definitely be coming back! I love their noodles and their food overall. I'd say one of the best Thai resturants in Long Beach. The restaurant is in a nice part of town, so its pretty good. One thing tho is that they are almost always packed whenever I am in there, maybe thats a good thing, but things can get crowded for us customers. Wow this food is soooo good. I'm always looking for new places to try and this place really impressed me. The peach iced tea is not too sweet and super refreshing. But wow the food is really something else. The pad see ew and chicken fried rice are 10/10. The Asian Sauce wing is so good and they are so crispy. It's a must try in Long Beach! read more
