We had dim sum here, which they serve everday. There is also menu of larger entrees. While we there another table ordered a lobster dish, which looked amazing. We tried a lot of the smaller dishes. Pig's feet, fried squid, spare ribs, sticky rice, and turnip cake - all so good! They have a variety of beverages and beer, wine and alcohol. The staff and owner couldn't be any more welcoming. Highly recommend.

Our favorite Dim Sum spot! I've posted a review on this spot before and I'm doing it again. Everyone is so friendly and attentive here - you walk in hungry and probably have to be rolled out. They consistently come around and your plate/table is never empty. I crave this just about every week and wish we lived closer than an hour and thirty minutes so I could enjoy it more often!

Pagoda has been around for decades! It used to be by the University of Minnesota, but it got replaced by a McDonald's years ago.... Back then, it was one of my favorite spots as a student, so I was pretty sad when it was closed. Imagine my excitement when I found out it's back in Roseville! We went for their weekend dim sum and loved it. You can either order from the carts or choose the dim sum buffet. The prices are super reasonable, and there are tons of options to pick from. The dim sum is legit--authentic and delicious! Plus, parking is easy since it's in a shopping mall area. The service is quick and friendly, but be ready for a wait if you're going on the weekend. It's usually packed, so you might have to wait at least 15 minutes. They have a lot of tables. However, if you're not into sitting close to other people or want a quiet meal, weekends might not be the best time to visit. It's definitely busy, but the energy makes it fun!

We came here for the all you can eat dim sum. We were heavily disappointed, most of the food was pretty cold or just lukewarm and the taste wasn't really there either. We tried to get every single dumpling and item that was available in the all you can eat promotion. I would say the one thing that I actually enjoyed was the chicken feet and would recommend if anyone visits this restaurant to give that a go. We were not huge fans of some of the steam buns, you could tell that they had really been sitting in the tray for a while. I feel like a restaurant like this is really good when the food's coming out straight from the kitchen, but if it's been sitting, this is an absolute no go. The restaurant is pretty however, and the service was really great with all of the wait staff being very kind and helpful.

Pagoda is our main go to place especially when we're craving pork siomai! Absolutely delicious and just hits the spot -- all the noodles we've tried has been amazing. Service is always good and they recognize our family coming in now!! Pagoda always feels like home from catering with students in the dinky town location to catering families in Roseville :) our personal favorites are siomai like listed earlier, shrimp ball, young chow fried rice, chicken wing, salt and pepper pork chop, beef lo mein and chow fun and many more. There's AYCE on weekends with a lot of options !!! Plus bottomless mimosas. Definitely makes my weekend! This is where we talk all our friends coming visiting!

We definitely enjoyed it here. Parking is great as they are in a huge shopping center with a lot of available spots. I felt like it started off slow when I arrived as no one really greeted me when I walked into the restaurant even with only one table filled. It improved once I got someone's attention and got seated though. Inside it is a nice eatery featuring classic Sichuan specialties & dim sum. We opted to share dim sum. The service was consistently attentive and friendly. Each dish arrived fresh and they came out fairly quick. It's not the best dim sum spot I've been to but they definitely do a good job.

The staff was so friendly! I stopped by for a meal between shifts. I was the only one there at 445/5 on a Thursday haha. Though that was a little uncomfortable, I took advantage of their happy hour BOGO half off apps. For $20 I had some delicious pot stickers (the sauce... I could eat it on anything) and salt and pepper wings! It was more food than I could eat! The wings were some of the best I've had, even comparing non Asian restaurants! I want to get back here for their AYCE dim sum (aka small bites). If it had been a little livelier I would give it 5 stars!

Amazing authentic food in a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service! If you can't decide if you want a menu item or dim sum, do what we do: order both!

Pagoda in Roseville (right by Rosedale Mall) is offering a 4 for $40 special. What a great offer! It's for a limited time and the conditions of the deal: 1) any menu item under $25 2) spread the word on social media once done 3) only valid Tuesday-Friday. The food and service were excellent! Definitely coming back soon! What we ordered: Seafood and vegetables crispy noodles - nice amount of quality seafood, noodles were fried to perfection 5/5 Crispy garlic fish - so light, juicy, and crispy! 5/5 Kung Pao Beef - overall good with lots of peanuts 4/5 Pork with Garlic Sauce- overall good with a nice balance of bamboo shoots, wood ear, and pork 4/5 Service was definitely 5/5 Restaurant was clean, lots of space and plenty of parking since it's in a strip mall

We came back to try more menu options before their summer 4 for $40 deal expires. Our favorite dishes are still: Honey Walnut Shrimp Beef Chow Fun Beef Brisket Hot Pot Service was hit or miss. Multiple servers asked for my order as soon as I arrived and needed some time to look at the menu, but then we had to wait and flag someone down for service after that. Ambiance is simple and casual.

I really wanted dimsum but didn't expect much any in st paul, boy was i wrong. This place was excellent the food was delicious, portion sizing was great and pricing was reasonable. The wait staff were friendly and attentive and I noticed the chef even came out at the end to check how we liked the food. All in all its a great place if your not sure if you'll like it come anyways. We'll be back. Maybe I'll say hi, but probably not because I'll be focused on my yummy food

First, the staff here is outrageously friendly. If you've never had dim sum, it's kind of a unique experience. There's a menu with a bunch of items that you write a check mark next the items you want to order. I love the brothy dumplings! They come out hot, so make sure you avoid what I did (burned my taste buds) and be patient. The fried rice could have been more fried. It has a very light color. You can taste the oil, more than a toasted flavor. However, I still enjoyed it!

We celebrated my wife's birthday today. We ordered from the lunch menu. I got the beef and broccoli, my wife got sesame chicken and our daughter got chicken and broccoli. All the lunches came with white rice and cream cheese wontons. Very nice lunch. We also ordered the chocolate lava cake and they also brought out a cupcake with a cherry blossom design on the plate. it was all very good. Thank you for a nice lunch.

From the outside appearance and lack of upkeep to the service and, most importantly, the food, the entire experience was disappointing. The service was odd, the staff didn't seem very familiar with the menu, and there were several misses that made the experience even less enjoyable. The food itself was mediocre at best--and honestly, some of it was just bad. Then came the bill: over $75 plus tip for three people, with two lunch specials and three drinks. For what we received, the price was absolutely ridiculous. For me, this was a hard pass. My opinions are just as much rooted in the emotion attached to each bite. We live in Texas but spend lots of time in the Twin Cities. I'm a vegetarian, so I put off going to Diane's Place because it felt like the options for me were relatively limited. Boy, am I kicking myself for waiting! I told my wife after our first meal at Diane's Place this weekend that I compared the first bite (which happened to be the green scallion croissant) to my responses to certain music. As a musician and audiophile, hearing something moving or stirring can illicit a very visceral emotional response. I experienced a very similar response with that very first bite. My appreciation for the art of cuisine brought to perfection by Diane Moua literally caused my eyes to well up. This may sound like hyperbole, but it is not. The egg rolls were light and crispy and oddly nostalgic. The bamboo & cabbage swimming in coconut curry was my entree. On its own, it is perfectly balanced with the right amount of salt, acid, and umami. I tacked on some sticky rice and Hmong hot sauce...use with caution! It's potent but so delicious. Given Diane's background in pastry, don't skip dessert! We loved our experience so much on Sunday for dinner that we very quickly made a brunch reservation for Tuesday. The best part about this dish is that there's no bones either (unlike some of the other pork dishes). The beef chow fun is what I believe the best beef chow fun in MN. It's so freaking good I think you just have to try it for yourself. Another classic starter dish I got was the seafood tofu soup. Hot, thick seafood soup with tofu is refreshing to start with, and when you top it off with a dash of white pepper it gets even better. We walked in to see a staff member who clearly didn't enjoy his job. He didn't greet us and made us approach him before he asked how many people would be dining. Looking into the dining room, there were several empty tables that had not been bused, and there was only one other party dining at the time. This was already a red flag, indicating that the staff didn't care about the cleanliness or appearance of the dining room. The menu is very extensive. From the outside, it isn't clear, but The Cajun House is a Chinese restaurant first and a seafood boil restaurant second. The first page of the menu is entirely dedicated to dim sum. I was surprised to see that they were serving dim sum late at night, and I questioned how fresh everything was. Flipping through the menu, about two out of ten pages were dedicated to seafood boil or Cajun dishes, which was a bit unexpected given the restaurant's name. Anyway, we decided to go for the seafood boil, and ordered a side of beef skewers to try. From former reviews and pictures, it seemed like these were the most popular items. The beef skewers came out first. One order was 13 dollars and came with five skewers. This was on the pricier side but not unfair. We split the dish. The beef had decent flavor, although nothing crazy. It wasn't fatty, but it had some seasoning on it to make up for the lack of quality. The beef was also relatively tender. It had a bit of a chew, but in a pleasant way, pretty much the texture I would look for in a noodle or fried rice dish. I was somewhat satisfied with this dish. For the seafood boil, we went for the combo. Every combo comes with two potatoes and two pieces of corn by default, each of which can be added on for two dollars each, a sauce, and a selection of two different seafood components. We went for the shrimp and "crab cluster" for an additional three dollars, adding on a dozen sausage slices and the garlic butter sauce. Right off the bat, it was easy to tell that the seafood wasn't very fresh. Both the crab and shrimp had a weird, off-putting flavor and aftertaste. It was slightly fishy and didn't sit well on my palette. We also weren't given anything to crack the crab shell with. We resorted to just using our teeth and trying our best to pull it apart with our hands, and using the skewer sticks from the beef to push out the meat. The garlic butter sauce wasn't great either. The meat wasn't picking up the sauce very well and retained very little flavor. The highlight for me was the sausage. It was surprisingly smoky and burst with flavor. It picked up some of the sauce, but the flavor I liked definitely came independent of the sauce. The potato and corn were both fine. They had decent texture, especially the corn. The potato was on the mushy side, but still served its purpose. For a lot of our meal, there were no employees in sight. It was impossible to wave anyone down. Our waiter was sitting down out of sight, and the only other worker we saw seemed to be working the back of the house. When we finished our food, it wasn't clear if we were supposed to wait for someone to bring us the check. We waited about five to seven minutes before someone came in to pick up an online order. When our waiter popped out to give the customer their order, we walked up to the front and paid out. We weren't given a check to make sure there weren't any mistakes, and just had to go with what he said. From start to finish, the service was really bad. The only time we got a refill on water was when our food got delivered. Other than that, we were never checked on. It just seemed like our waiter didn't care at all. The dining room was messy and unorganized, and the food was generally mediocre, with the seafood leaving a lot to be desired. There was plenty more on the menu to try, especially the Chinese food, but everything seemed dirty, and I didn't like how I was questioning the cleanliness of the food. This combined with the very unpleasant experience I had with the service will definitely discourage me from coming back.
