I was coming here for three months straight for gel pedicures and for some reason today everything was just bad. The service, the quality, even the workers were just rude from the beginning of my pedicure all the way to the end. The duration of my pedicure felt very rushed, even though I had made an appointment to make sure I would be serviced accordingly. I was burned a few times with the hot stones, water, and towels, and the skin around my toenails were clipped a few times to the point that I physically jumped from the pain each time. When the service was over, I had already decided I wasn't going to be tipping. So then when I went to pay, the lady tells me my total and that the card reader machine isn't working and that I have to pay cash or Venmo. So I decide on Venmo and then she tells me a higher price than the original price I was told. I asked her why and she said because there's a fee for paying with card... I'm confused and so I ask why there's a fee for paying with card if I'm paying through Venmo? She repeats again that there's a fee. The lady behind me waiting to be helped was also confused, and said to the worker "But there is no fee for paying through Venmo?" At this point I'm just super upset so I sent the Venmo but only for the price that was told to me originally not including the "fee" because there is no fee for paying through Venmo. I'm even more upset that I now have to find a new nail salon. To anyone still visiting this salon, please watch out and be careful in not getting scammed. read more

The people at this nail salon are great! They take their time and do a great job. Cindy is amazing and always so friendly. You can do drop ins, but I always call ahead and see when they have an opening so I don't have to wait. I have always been able to get an appointment same day. Definitely recommend. read more

I'm originally from the Bay Area, but I come to Sacramento often and always get my nails done here. So when I tell you that Pamper Nail Spa is the only nail salon I'll ever go to when I'm in Sacramento, I really mean that THIS IS THE ONLY NAIL SALON I'LL EVER GO TO WHEN IM IN SACRAMENTO. It's always super clean, dip powders and nail polishes are beautifully organized, and the service has always been top tier for me. I do have a favorite nail tech but I'll let you find your own favorite in the salon because I'm selfish with mine . She ALWAYS takes her time, she's very precise, and whenever I want my nails to look very specific with certain details, she always delivers beyond my expectations. I love her so much because she just never misses. Lastly, Ms. Cindy !!! That's mama for sure. I love the way she operates her salon, and I appreciate the details she pays attention to. Service and energy to her clientele is always 10/10 and I love it. If you ever need to get your eyebrows done, she's the one you need to go to. I left the shop with my nails like this bc I asked for her to make them "a little thicker". She stopped and said I should go somewhere else because I'm "too picky" . Mind you, when I showed her the reference picture all I asked was to make sure there was a space between the two points (like the picture) and she said she couldn't do that, and that they HAD to be touching bc that's how she does it. I love Pamper Nails they are the best. I never had any issues This time that I went in the person doing my manicure cut to deep on my ring finger, I did not notice until I felt a burning feeling and look down and see she had already applied super glue to my finger. It has been burning itching and now turning red. I have never had super glue put on my skin before for a cut when getting my nails done and I've had my cuticle cut low before, I am normally really chill about these things but the super glue was terrible and have been having an reaction to it. read more

One star for the kind man that was at the front who greeted me when I came in and also checked me out when I was finished. Every seat was literally taken when I went in yesterday, it was that packed. I didn't get her name but she was a short and heavy set woman who did my pedicure. She was too rough with the pumice stone and cutting my cuticles. 4 of my toes are bleeding from her careless cuticle cleaning. I did not enjoy my pedicure at all. Now, my feet stings every time I shower because of the cuts the lady left on my feet. I can't even wear my house shoes comfortably because I can't have anything rubbing against the cuts on my feet. Have come here 3 times for dip powder nails. I love the work Amy did this last time during removal of my old color (lasted a month, just got too grown out). She was gentle with the buffing machine and worked quickly, and she made a good suggestion of adding a matte top coat to my color to complement the orange-fall vibe. They take appointments and walk-ins, and I've done both. I've been seated and helped quickly every time. I also liked the good communication about nail-shape and length, and attention to detail so each nail matched its counterpart on my other hand. Huge selection of dip powder colors, which is great. I also appreciate they give you a card with your nail tech's name, the color you used, and a guarantee for repair within a week of service (in the same color you originally got). Always nice when a salon stands by their work. I have eczema on my hands, but their subtle-scented lotions have not caused any irritation. Definitely will be coming back again and again! read more

They change the prices on you. When they first opened, they had a special for a full set. I was charged the set then +$5 per fake nail tip. It was an additional $50.. I told my friend and she said that fake tips should've been included. I didn't know because at the time, I didn't get my nails done often. I called the next day, spoke to the owner and asked if fake nail tips are included in the price and they said it was. They are dishonest. Don't come here. read more

Wow...in 40+ years of manicures - I've never had one this bad. Poor communication, other technicians had to come help. If you have a new customer- don't assign them to a newbie! Customer service is everything!! Nails look awful and polish is already chipping - after just a few hours. read more

Absolutely awful, DO NOT GO HERE unless you like fast-food service in a salon. These people do not care to give you the time of day, quality of work, or effort in their craft. They just want you in & out ASAP. A couple older staff are respectful & friendly although I was NOT serviced by them. this is my growth after 1 week, the tech didn't bother to care about consistent shape or level when making my acrylics. My friend and I BOTH had bubbles, & streaks in our paint on multiple nails. The nail tech disregarded even buffing underneath my nail for shape or filing the corners, so they are chunky underneath & were sharp as soon as I came out. (I wanted a very square shape NOT sharp). They are far too assertive in trying to upcharge you with every chance. read more

I was pretty hesitant to try this place because even though there are a lot of good reviews, the bad ones seem really bad. But I took a chance and I'm glad I did! I had an appointment for gel pedicure & a fill. It was pretty busy in there already and I always expect to wait awhile even with an appt, but they were ready for me right away! Lee did my nails and Tammy did my toes and they were both so friendly and sweet and easy to communicate with. I was done in 1 hr 15 mins and both their work was flawless. Price was nothing more than what I expected...$45 for fill with 2 gel colors, $65 for elite gel pedi (paraffin, scrub, hot stone, longer massage). The place is very clean and modern. A few months back, I had gotten my first Brazilian by this one waxer (I can't remember her name, if I did I would've scheduled with her instead and I wouldn't be writing this), and she was great. She was quick but the pain was tolerable, she was understanding, and overall I had a comfortable and amazing experience. After my visit with her, I fell inconsistent with my waxes and went in today for my first Brazilian in a while. Since I couldn't remember my previous waxers name, I booked with Monique, and it was nothing like my first experience. I laid on the bed and we immediately began the service. Anyone who has gotten a Brazilian before knows it is definitely NOT the most pleasant experience, but today hurt so bad I was crying. I had told her beforehand that I haven't been waxed in so long I was practically a first-timer. She asked me a few times if I wanted to end the wax early, which was a nice offer, but what was I going to do, leave with a half waxed part of my body while still paying full price in the end? I had already made it as far as I did, and pushed through it for my moneys worth. She was going WAY too fast and I was in excruciating pain. I asked her a few times if she could slow down a little bit or if I could at least take a quick breather. She replied that since she had customers after me that I "can't take too long and would need to make it quick" ?? All I needed was a minute. The experience felt extremely rushed and, in my opinion, a service such as a Brazilian where you're dealing with such delicate parts of the body, should not be rushed. We got done with the wax, I paid, and after I came home I realized I still have gross patches of unwanted hair down there. I don't recommend booking Monique for a Brazilian. :( UPDATE: The salon called me yesterday and offered a complimentary touch up with Crystal today, and my experience was amazing! She was friendly, super cool, informative, and gave me plenty of helpful aftercare tips. Most importantly, she got rid of all the leftover hair from my previous appointment thoroughly and efficiently without making me feel rushed. Turns out I had WAY more hair down there than I realized. It was so bad that Crystal almost saved a piece of wax to show her boss because of how much hair was missed during my appointment from a few days ago. She was just as surprised and disappointed as I was. Crystal is that girl! She completely turned my experience around, and I'll definitely be booking with her from here on out! :)

I scheduled a visit a few days in advance for three people and four services and paid an $80 deposit ($20 per service) via Venmo. One person canceled that morning, but I was able to switch to a different service for myself that same day vs. losing my deposit. The two pedicures were fine. They were basic pedicures, and aside from the water initially being extremely hot, I was happy with the results. Because of the deposit, there was also no wait time. The head spa, however, was a completely different experience. This was my first head spa, so I was excited and expected it to be relaxing. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The massage was brief, and despite the menu stating that oils would be used, none were applied. During the double cleanse, the technician used her fingernails rather than her fingertips, which became painful. There was also an excessive amount of cleanser, and rinsing it out was difficult. The water temperature was extremely inconsistent--going from hot to ice cold--and water got into my ear. Instead of feeling relaxed, I was uncomfortable throughout the service. Afterward, my hair was not completely dry. When I asked for serum, I was told it had already been applied, and I had to explain that I wanted my hair fully dried and soft. Another staff member eventually finished drying it, and the end result was much better. The two services totaled $138, or $158 with a 15% tip. I shared all of this feedback with the front desk before leaving. They were receptive and said they would provide additional training. I was also told that the technician was new to the salon and has some communication issues. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns, but based on my head-spa experience, I would not return for that service. *********************************************************** FINAL THOUGHTS Making a reservation requires a deposit, but it does give you priority if there's a wait. PRO TIP: I visited on a Saturday around noon, and it wasn't busy at all. If you're coming in solo, you can probably skip the reservation and deposit. I've had two pedicures here, and the service was totally fine. No issues at all. I also clearly saw the technicians using Barbicide to disinfect their metal tools, although I didn't pay attention to where they pulled the drill bits from. Overall, the salon is CLEAN, which I really appreciate. Personally, I wouldn't get a head spa treatment here again. I was told they're having plumbing issues because the building is old and that their plumber hasn't been able to resolve the problem. However, based on my experience, I feel some of the issues were related to the technician and not just the plumbing. That said, I'd love to hear from others who have had a head spa here. How was your experience with the water temperature? Did you have a better experience with a different technician? I'd genuinely be curious to know!

I made an appointment for 9:45am and was immediately greeted and seated at a pedicure station - I was also offered water too. I went with the Deluxe Pedicure which was $42 + extra for the Gel polish. The lady who did my pedicure was very friendly while taking her time - she did a great job! They're very personable at Monet Spa which I also like - the owner remembered my name and that I'm married and have a daughter. The staff is always so grateful to see you back too! Overall, I'm glad I decided to come back and give them another chance. This is definitely my new favorite nail salon!

Cindy is one of the rudest women I've ever encountered at any nail salon. I've come here few of times. Most of the techs have no idea what they are doing. They will bounce you around from tech to tech (I had 4 for one set) and was stuck in the chair for almost 3 hours for a French tip. Kristy is the only tech that cares and will do an amazing job. Cindy won't let you book her, she will lie to your face saying she's booked indefinitely bc no other techs will get appointments if she doesn't lie. I've come here for 4 months will never go back and will make sure no one I know will ever come back.
