    Enchiladas verdes

Walking in, my friend and I both noticed the floor was very sticky. It took several minutes for the hostess to get us a table. The server was ok. The chips were overly salty, but the salsa was AMAZING. My enchiladas verdes were good but the tomatillo sauce was very acidic. The price was inexpensive ($11). I would go back. I hope they mop that lobby floor, though.

Stopped in at around 4 PM on a Wednesday . I was craving chips and queso. The waitress dropped off the happy hour menu. Beef empanadas or street tacos for 6 dollars! I ordered both! The empanadas came with a side of queso, the street tacos with a side of grilled onions and grilled jalapeño peppers. The food was delicious! Best empanadas ever, the service with excellent restaurant had a nice calm vibe.

Our family was celebrating our Niece's birthday and she picked Panchito's for her dinner. First time here and I was very impressed. I ordered a Panchito's Margarita which was smooth and delicious. And the bartender did not skimp on the Tequila. For dinner I had the Chicken Fiesta Plate which came with rice and Charro beans. Everything was delicious and the beans were outstanding. I will be back. Our server took very good care of the 13 of us. It's rare, but I am giving Panchito's 5 stars

Went in for a late lunch and were seated right away. Our server was friendly and thoughtful. Food was delicious and even enjoyed a happy hour margarita.

This is what we ordered for party of two. The portion is big and we couldn't finished it all.

My first time here all the way from CA. I love the foods and service here. Got a fun birthday photo and free soapaipillas. Thanks to all the waiters & waitresses esp for serving our table 53. There was a nice lady who asked about our dine in experience and we had a great time here. Thank you for all that you do.

12.25.25 BARBACOA Ponchitos is an absolute gem! The service is fantastic--friendly, attentive & welcoming. The menu offers a great variety, with something for everyone & the portions are generous. The coffee is absolutely delicious & the chips with roasted salsa are to die for--so fresh & flavorful! Their homemade flour & corn tortillas are perfection, adding an authentic touch to every dish. We were thrilled they had barbacoa during our visit since it sometimes runs out--it was a hit with everyone at the table. Ponchitos truly delivers an exceptional dining experience. We can't wait to come back for another amazing meal! 8.24.24 I had a fantastic breakfast at Ponchitos this morning! The barbacoa was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing, making it a perfect spot to start the day. Renata, our server, was incredibly attentive, ensuring our drinks were always topped up & being very friendly throughout our meal. It was a great start to the day, and I highly recommend Ponchitos for a delightful & relaxing breakfast experience! 12 months ago - After a long travel day stopped in for a bite at our local favorite. The waitress was nice & polite. The order was slightly messed up but the food & atmosphere was superb. We got our drinks with a basket of chips & warm roasted red salsa, perfect! My husband had a carne guisada taco, nachos, our daughter & the quesadillas with rice & l a puffy taco plate with ground meat. All the food was delicious & had so much flavor 1 year ago - Tacos, big red & a barbacoa plate--delicious! Great service, food was full of flavor, homemade tortillas! Perfect morning breakfast!

Delicious Mexican food! Loved the tortilla soup, enchilada verde and salsa were awesome! Margaritas were flavorful. The ambience was great with real Mexican music and Mexican art! Ricardo was our server and he was professional, prompt and courteous! Great service. I highly recommend Panchito's!

Panchito's is one of our favorite restaurants in San Antonio. My wife had a crispy beef taco and puffy taco with a side of charro beans, rice. I had the Sizzling Chicken, it was delicious!!! We also got a half order of sopapillas for dessert....OMG, they were so light and tasty!!! Next time we will be doing a full order. The place was half full and fairly quiet.

Olmos Taco: flour tortilla, beef fajita meat, onions, beans, white cheese.

My daughter and I dined here last night. It was packed full of people but the service was still really good. We ordered and our plates came out in 5 minutes! Wow! I ordered the Santos combo which consisted of 2 cheese enchiladas with gravy, refried beans, rice and choice of a side. I chose the Olmos taco that has beef fajita, beans, white cheese, and grilled onions. Everything on the plate tasted fantastic and the meat was tender. The only complaint I have is it that the gravy, beans, and rice were too heavily salted. I plan to return though as the food was good Tex_Mex like from abuelas kitchen! Yummy!

I checked in online on our way to the restaurant and were sat very shortly after we entered the building! We must have came at the perfect time because usually there is a longer wait. We were sat and greeted by our server promptly. Thomas was so on top of it and was even showing a trainee the ropes. We had our 2 girls with us (3yo & 8yo) and ordered for them first while we looked over the menu for ourselves. If you have kids you know how important it is to have them served first. Their food came so quickly and ours not long behind them. I had the taco salad, so simple but always delicious. No matter what meat I choose it's always well seasoned and flavorful. My husband had the Enchiladas Picadillo and I swear his plate was clean just about as soon as it was set down. The girls always get bean tacos which may seem easy to get right but these girls are picky about the kind of beans and tortillas and you really never know what the verdict will be with the. Hooray, we had no complaints! They were all smiles with full belly's. We are also thankful for the complimentary chips and salsa that help tame hunger and wild children! If you enjoy cocktails you can't miss with a house margarita or my favorite the Paloma. We have been here before and always enjoy it. It had been a while and it was so nice to see something's never change. They check all 3 boxes. Food, Service and Ambiance.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.

Not sure if the Italian side and the cantina side share the same kitchen, but we will remember to come back and try that side as well. If the Italian menu and preparation is as unique as the cantina's, it will be a worthy adventure. For our appetizer we got the cheese dish pictured. I can not recall the name, but the cheese is a cool light cheese served in a warm tomato-based sauce, topped with slices of fresh avocados and chicharones and was served with flour and corn tortillas. Very delicious! As mentioned in the opening...the menu, preparation, and presentation at Panfila is unique. For our entrees my wife got the chile Relleno and I got the Milanese con Mole. The chile Relleno was served in a bowl with just an absolutely fabulous sauce and stuffed and covered with nicely melted cheese. The Milanese con Mole was absolutely decadent! The tender pork was lightly fried and covered in the most delicious mole that I have ever eaten. The chocolate was a little more prominent in the flavor profile than I am used to; and I wouldn't think that I would like that, but it was perfect! I enjoyed every bite and used the extra tortillas from our appetizer to finish off the mole. Highly recommend anything on the menu that incorporates that mole!! Fantastic place!
