Reliable Chinese no matter where you are. Been here in Bend for 3 months and really surprised that of 350 restaurants there are very few purely Chinese. Great portions for good low price. Unless I move back east will not try my luck with any other than this one. The gal was very generous with the extra hot mustard and the way she pack in the rice and entrees. Will return. read more

I don't think I'll be eating here when I get the chance anymore. I was at the drive through ordering what I get almost everyday now, which is the Bigger Plate with Chow Mein, Beijing Beef, Orange Chicken, and Broccoli Beef. when I pulled up to the drive through and paid, I had to wait for my food a bit longer than usual, but I really don't mind. but I did notice however when I looked through the window to see what was taking so long, that the guy at the drive through had PICKED HIS NOSE and WIPED IT ON HIS SHIRT. then after about a minute or two someone else had come by and handed us our food. I'm pretty sure the nose-pickin-pete had packed some of our food but whatever I guess now. went home took a bite, now I don't think I'll be finishing. and honestly, I've eaten here so many times I'm sure every employee has seen me once or twice, but this may be the last time any of them see me eating here. read more

No matter the day or time you go by, these pics show what you normally experience. Half of the menu items are unavailable, and what you do have to pick from is always the bottom of the barrel last lukewarm scoop. There's never anything hot, fresh or express about this place! It's in a great location (Walmart parking lot), on a busy road, close to residential areas, and with little competition, they should be killing it! Not sure if it's a detached owner solely interested in an investment, an inexperienced manager or wages so low they can't find decent workers, but this place is going down in flames. read more

Came through 5 minutes ago, took minutes to order once to window with only one car in front of me... Order is wrong. Ordered a rice bowl and a plate. Only got a plate... mixed in with an extra side. If you'd taken the order right you would make more money!!! read more

1st informal, I want to right this review do to unprofessional . I wish this app hade -1 because that's what they deserve. I made my Oder exactly @ 11:10 am & was out of for 12:00pm to be ready for pick up , I got there @12:32 due to the fact that I never received a message confirming my order was ready, unknown name came up and ask if I wanted to order nicely said I came to pick up & exactly it wasn't even ready . I explained why does it take 2 hrs to get a plate done , no customer whatsoever. Manger was so rude & his employees as well didn't apologize whatsoever, simply just rude ! read more

It's 2am and the fried rice bowl I ate 8 hours ago just woke me up and said hello a good 3 unwanted times. I had 4 different sides and ate most of them, my rice was funky but I thought it was fine. I've had food poisoning before and here we go again.. Thanks panda. Won't find myself back anytime soon! read more

I can't believe what rude service I had at Panda Express this afternoon. There were three of us in line. It took 12 minutes to get served. I was asked what I wanted. As I started telling Estrella she walked away to the drive thru window. There were already two servers there. Did it really take three servers at the window? The space is very small there. When she finally came back she dished up what I wanted & tossed it down on the counter. There wasn't anyone to cashier. After waiting five minutes, I walked over to the two guys (didn't get their names) and Estrella. I asked if I could pay for my bowl. I walked over to the cash register, waited again and ended up walking out without my lunch. I will not go back here. The customer service is TERRIBLE, non existent. read more

Went through the drive through yesterday and when I got home I realized we were missing a handful of entrees. I promptly called and I was told to come in within the month with the receipt and they would take care of it. Sure enough, I came in today to Manager Fong who kindly remade our meal and gave us the quality of service we know Panda stands for. Thank you! The dining space is clean, modern, and breathable. Came in on a Friday evening and the place was super busy. I had to change my order because they were out of a few things. There was only one person in the kitchen and he was clearly working hard but couldn't keep up by himself. The food was as expected... consistent and good but not amazing. What impressed me the most was the teams ability to maintain composure when they were clearly understaffed and busy. Everyone that I interacted with was polite and courteous despite the extra stress....I was impressed. If I could just rate the staff they would get five stars, but as a company they need to review their employee compensation package and ask themselves why they are understaffed on a busy Friday night. They would clearly make more money if they could move customers through faster. read more

We liked the original Bend Panda Express so were pleased to see the new location go in near where we live. Unfortunately our experience with that location was not good. We were very surprised to see the portions were much smaller but more than that the food was not good. The fried rice and noodles were absolutely tasteless. We ordered the walnut shrimp which we usually love but there were very few pieces. Much fewer than we got at the original location. I will admit it's been a while since we've ordered from the original location down on North 97 so maybe things have changed there too. I would not recommend this restaurant. read more

I was excited that a Panda Express had finally made it to my side of town(97 & Pinebrook in Bend). I would now be able to frequent Panda instead of the rare occasion I ventured to opposite side of town. Food was good. I ordered through app so good would be waiting when I got there. Lobby was closed and had to go through drive thru which had a line. Was an extra 15 mins. Additionally, this particular store is not participating in the Panda rewards program. I hope this is only temporary as a new store. What small interaction I had with the staff in drive thru was pleasant enough. -1 star for closed lobby and wait in drive thru, -1 star for not having rewards program. read more

We have been to the new SW Panda several times and have had no problems. Service was fast and pleasant, food was as it should be at Panda. We've never been to the "original" so can't compare the two as many people are doing. In fact, I'm going there today. Many fast food restaurants are having staffing problems and have had to temporarily close their lobby, not just Panda. I'm giving four stars. read more

We stopped by the store in South Bend this morning. We had just been grocery shopping and wanted to pick up dinner while in town so we didn't have to make another trip. The young man who served us was wonderful. He is what all fast food workers should aspire to be. He made us feel welcomed and was very pleasant. I am enjoying my dinner very much. read more

Food was terrible. Not up to Panda Express standards. Even fried rice and chow me in were bad.

We entered the restaurant today at 2:50 pm. We ordered three bigger plates with three entrees to go. Two had a fried rice/chow mein, orange chicken, and honey/walnut shrimp, and a veggie spring roll. The third included fried rice/chow mein, Kung Pao chicken, and a veggie spring roll. We were told to wait until our name was called for our order since the honey/walnut shrimp and spring rolls were depleted. Wed waited in the rear of the restaurant for some time and watched the two missing items that were cooked and being served to other customers. Out of frustration we requested a refund of our money because of the lack of service. Regaining their senses, they began to immediately finish out order, using the food that had been previously boxed and getting cold. We requested sauce for the spring rolls. We arrived home finding one of the plates having only honey/walnut shrimp and missing the orange chicken, as well as only chili sauce for the spring rolls. Really - Chili Sauce for SPRING ROLLS!!! This restaurant is in dire need of total reorganization and inservice training of both employees and leadership. I will not return. read more

Foods medium. Brand new panda spot and they're already skimping on the portions of servings.. the noodles might as well just be cabbage with how much of that they use to save money. Fried rice also might as well just be plain rice, zero goodness to it. Service is fine the employees are nice, so that's the only upside :) read more
