This is the only Panada Express i've been to. Been here maybe 20 times over two years. My go to is two grilled chickens and half lo mein half fried rice. Used to get the orange chicken but it seems to be all batter these days with no meat. Disappointed that they stopped making the hot and sour a few months ago. Usually you get a decent amount of food for the price but sometimes the person working will under serve you. I've been coming here for years and have never felt so disrespected at any food establishment. Monica was the one to scoop the meats that I wanted added to my meal. After I paid (with a different lady as the cashier) and sat down with my receipt, I had noticed I was accidentally charged for an extra shanghai beef for one of my plates instead of a beijing beef which does not have an upcharge. The other plate had both honey walnut shrimp and shanghai beef which I happily paid for just as I do every time I'm here. No big deal. I go to the register without interrupting the lady and the guest she was ringing up. Once she was done, she asked me what I needed and I explained very nicely. She got frustrated and said she was helping other customers and she would get to me when she could. MONICA walks up and asks what the problem is. I assume she used the word problem for lack of a better word, as I was not rude nor frustrated with them. I explained to Monica very kindly (as I work in the food industry myself) that I just accidentally got charged extra for something I did not get. All I expected was my 1.25 back. Instead, she asked to check my plates (even though SHE was the one that served me the Beijing beef her self!) I have never been SO INSULTED in my life. She then walks over to our table and asks us to open our plates. I ask for her name and the first thing she says is "ohhh we wrote SB on the box instead of Beijing which is why" (again, she's the one that wrote it on the box herself) She then offers me a side because, "it's just a dollar twenty five" Now, I would have gladly accepted the side rather than having her giving me my refund, but the fact that she was rude and accusing was so insulting that I didn't want Panda Express to have not another dollar of my money. I asked her for a refund of 1.25 yet again and she said AGAIN, "it's only a dollar twenty five" I work in the mosaic district and this was a lunch spot for myself and co workers. I will NEVER be back here again. Panda Express needs to do a much better job of training their employees. Especially in an area where there are so many better food options and employees who correct their mistakes, not ACCUSE their guests of LYING over "only a dollar twenty five" ! 2 starts because its fast . drive thru. in and out, but that it, food will taste good because the way its cooked, the quality of meats is sub standard, i guess you get what you pay for but we got 5 to go meals for our office , the next day all 5 people had upset stomachs, may be it was just that one particular day , but not worth my money if they give food poising and upset tummy to all who eat here . There are only a few basic things I expect from a Chinese restaurant (assuming we all want to consider Panda a Chinese restaurant). At the top of my list is having rice when I order my meal. Twice this week they were out of rice for our order. First it was white rice and then, today, it was brown rice. Based on my conversation with them, it seems they run out frequently around 7 or 7:30 pm. I think that is ridiculous! Make more rice! One star! read more

It is a panda express. Consistently good American "Chinese" style food. This location was clean, the staff was friendly, and our food was delicious. This is a great place to stop for a quick and easy meal. read more

They serve very small portion of food I won't go to this place go to Tyson corner Virginia instead, they server more for your money.

In early May I ate here and the place was filthy. Serving area was clean but the seating area had napkins on the floor,some of the tables needed a wipe down, and the front of the trashbin appeared to have some sort of dark liquid that had run down the front. I wrote their Customer Service about what I had observed and was advised that my comments had been shared with the location's Area & Regional Managers. Today I visited it again and once again the eating area had napkins on the floor, tables needed a wipe down, and the trash bin needed to be emptied. I took the manager on a tour of her facility and pointed out the problems. This Panda is an outlier in cleanliness since I have never experienced it at other locations. While I will continue to patronize other locations, this one is definitely off my list. read more

I was craving Panda Express this past weekend since I haven't had it in a while and I was so disappointed. My bf and I went through the drive thru and ordered 3 entrees and rice/noodles. We got home I noticed they didn't give us forks. We had ordered chicken and green beans, broccoli and beef, and the spicy chicken breast entree. The chicken and green beans and beef and broccoli had no meat in it... we found like 3 small pieces of meat in both and there was just vegetables. We were angry and it was not worth what we paid. If they were at the last of the entrees then they should have asked us to wait while they prepared more instead of sending us home with no meat and all vegetables. It was careless....We will not be going back. read more

I don't usually review a place until I've eaten there at least twice, in case the first experience was not typical. Making an exception in this case because the food was so bad that I don't think I'll ever go back to try it again. Had the Kung Pao chicken, which I often have in Chinese restaurants. First thing I notice is that it has zucchini in it. I don't believe I've ever seen zucchini in any Chinese food before, and certainly not Kung Pao chicken. OK, I don't hate zucchini so I start eating it, but then I get to the "chicken". I don't know what this stuff was, but it bore little resemblance to any kind of chicken I've ever eaten. It all had a strange texture but there were also some rubbery hard to chew pieces that, when I took them out of my mouth, sure looked like chopped up internal organs -- very smooth and shiny. Sorry, but I'm not eating that. My wife had ordered beef and broccoli and she offered me some of that. Totally lacking in flavor, and very little beef among all the broccoli. Top it off with "fried" rice that had very obviously never seen the inside of a wok let alone having been fried. Is this anyone's idea of Chinese food? Not mine, and I won't be back. It's nice they have a drive thru but wow are they slow. After waiting and finally getting to the window to pay, they told me that it would be 2 minutes until my food was ready and to pull around. 8 minutes later I just walked in myself to pick it up. Not only did it completely defeat the purpose of a drive thru but also was a huge waste of my time. Don't come here for a quick lunch, they're incredibly slow! read more

Service is fast and prices are decent, but the food is oversalted and bland. Usually after eating it I don't feel so great.

Don't know why this place gets bad reviews. Went at 8:30 after my mom got out of the hospital and I went to pickup food for us. It was fast and good quality for the concept. Good price, too. The orange chicken and fried rice was very tasty. The fried rice wasn't too oily either which was nice. Will go back if I'm craving Chinese and in the area. Also, very nice staff that offered samples since I had never been. read more

I have been to Panda Express in Tyson which is pretty good. To This location I went for first time. The service was pretty fast. We got the food under 10min. I am only giving 3 stars due to cleanness of the place. Needs improvement. The food was pretty good. The big portions, worth it. Good place for quick lunch and to share with somebody. read more

Slow, always out of items. Completely incompetent management, I would avoid location.

I went through the drive through in february 2013 had words with the attendant because he misled me both on what food was available and the price, and when i got home bit into a metal wingnut. After calling the location and corporate, i never received anything more than a "oops! Sorry". Needless to say, I haven't been back since. I suggest never disputing your order at this location if you want to keep all of your teeth. read more

The mixed veggies and orange chicken were delicious. The server was friendly and helpful.

Tehy added steamed brown rice as an option and this makes going to Panda a more healthy experience. Love the Bejing Beef. Good hot & sour soup too. I try to avoid the dishes with lots of sugar (Orange Chicken for example) since that stuff is not good for you! read more
