a buffet with many different foods

We had some time before an event we were going to and needed something light and quick to eat and didn't want want the typical fast food. We stopped in here. This was a stand alone restaurant but I usually see them in the mall food courts. I never had the desire to eat there before because Chinese mall food usually sits for long periods of time. This was a stand alone restaurant and we figured it would be better than Mickey Ds. Entering inside, the food smelled great, the servers greeted you as you entered. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated, sleek lines, easy to clean surfaces. The staff were appropriate and the food looked fresh and appetizing. We ordered the chicken egg rolls, the vegetables spring rolls and the orange chicken. EVERYTHING was meh. The chicken egg roll tasted like a blend of over cooked cabbage in a typical egg roll casing. The spring rolls tasted like the crunchy spring roll casing with nothing in the middle. The orange chicken was exactly what I imagined mall Chinese food would be, it tasted as if it had been sitting for some time. The chicken was mysteriously hard and mushy at the same time. The rice was over cooked as well. Definitely won't be going there again.

Horrible experience yesterday afternoon 2-1-18, my wife and son purchased our family 3 meals. They asked for some fresh orange chicken and Rangoons the server said this is fresh, but after they tasted it they found that the outer was over cooked, crunchy and cold. The server asked the cook to make a fresh batch. The cook replied "no we can not do that, if we do that for them we will have to do that for others." My family was jaw dropped by what they heard. They should have left at that point. The cook was visibly disrespectful and did not want to cook more fresh food. The server went to the manager to ask if they could make a fresh batch. The server came back from talking to the manager and she instructed the cook to make fresh food. The male cook did as instructed. He was very visibly upset. Once my family got home and tried the food it was uneatable as the cook had added some type of pepper or spice making it uneatable burning our mouths and throat. This is terrible service and spiteful retaliation to customers who have been eating with this franchise for over a decade. We will report this to corporate Panda Express.

I don't want you to go here ...because that means the line will be longer when I go.! While this place is not Lieus--it pretty darn good for quick and easy Chinese food For under $10 you can get plenty of food! I generally get veggies--they have always been crisp and slightly crunchy-- not soft or mushy The rices have always been good white , brown or fried I often get the walnut shrimp ($1 extra) which again is not bad for a chain restaurant -- not as fresh as Lieus but that's not a fair comparison. The chow mein--( lo mein--where I come from). was a little firm for the noodle consistency. I was hoping for more of a spaghetti type. The egg rolls are also pretty good And can I say ... the location is at a spot where many previous restaurants have failed BUT I certainly hope and believe this will be here for many years!

Be prepared to wait for this "fast" food!

What a disaster of a place. Waiting 20 minutes for cold fast food and still don't have complete order. Oddly enough people behind me were getting food and only until I went up to counter for a SECOND time did a NEW bowl of food came out and they scooped from it. So behind me people were being served while they stacked up plates for the poor saps that came in before. People in front of me got a refund and food. The couple behind me got free appetizer. I don't know what the poor guy that ordered online got after waiting I know for 30 minutes but all I got was attitude. I managed to talk at least two families to go elsewhere on the way out pointing out the people waiting still. They agreed this was not the place to be. Let me give you another bit of advice I didn't notice until I went back to get the rest of my order. They put the plates upside down stacked on each other after writing on them handling money and whatever else they do all with no gloves. Dragging the plates across the counter, again rubbing it down the line over other peoples nasty. I took a picture of the stack of waiting orders. If management wants to take a look my order was at 10/5/2019 at 6:21pm. Check around for the next hour at how many refunds and how long the drive through clock was ticking for. I noticed a countdown on that of nearly 30 minutes. This staff needs some retraining and needs it fast before you lose more than just the 4 family's I talked to tonight that got the shaft by your company or dhec watches them drag their unwashed ungloved hands across everyone's plates. Yuck!

The lack of effort and carelessness shows in these young kids by how disgusting the food was. Dry over cooked inedible food. If we wanted garbage we would have went through the drive through dumpster.

Service was very nice, and the food was perfect. Panda on woodruff rd made me love Panda again today.

The bun was soft and warm, holding everything together nicely without getting soggy. One of the standouts was the Spicy Ketchup--a must-try! It has just the right amount of kick thanks to the jalapeño, and it took the flavor of the burger up a notch. Definitely a unique and welcome twist compared to standard fast food sauces. Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. Only reason for not giving a full five stars is that the presentation was a little basic and the burger could've used just a touch more seasoning on the patty itself. Overall, a solid experience and definitely worth a stop if you're craving a classic fast food burger done right

I moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1985 and experienced my first Whataburger there on East Gregory…read moreStreet. Which was wonderful, because it was open 24 hours and was right near my favorite bar. Plus I was young. It was there that I experienced the Breakfast Taquito, which was introduced by the chain in 1983. Having moved to Dallas, TX in spring of 1986, I lived one exit up from a Whataburger, which also was convenient. So, the imprint in my head about the Whataburger flavors was pretty ingrained by the time I moved back to the east coast in 1988. Until Whataburger opened here. I have been for lunch a few times, but not for breakfast. And although this WB is very near to my favorite bar, I have given up howling at the moon and late, late night meals. Last week, I had lunch at a different Whataburger in Mauldin and was given a coupon for a free Taquito at any participating WB. But it expired within less than a week. Nevertheless, the seed was planted. I arrived at this WB and decided to order inside for carry out. At 7:56 AM on a Tuesday, I ordered 4 sausage Taquito's to go. There was not another customer in the restaurant nor in the drive through lane, so that was kind of interestingly dead. After placing my order, the two counter staff both disappeared into the kitchen and another customer did walk in, placing an order at the kiosk. What I found interesting was that she came in, was seen as the staff went to the back, but she went into the restroom. They departed the counter. She orders from the kiosk and goes to sit down. Zero interaction happened after that. I received my 4 Taquitos at 8:06 AM with this message: "Sorry for the wait, we like to make these fresh." I'm not sure when this other customer would be acknowledged because I left for work. I say this to point out how impersonable the experience was, especially in comparison to the Chick-Fil-A experience across the street. There, you are greeted multiple times and I believe the food is also made fresh, but it is lickety-split to get in and out of there, including the double drive through lanes. The food - so my benchmark was a fond memory of the sausage and cheese, tender goodness. The size of the Taquito is a bit larger than the McDonald's, but it is $3.69 per vs the McDonald's 2 for $3.00 "sausage burrito." The WB Taquito had a grilled flour tortilla that held a little bit of toasted texture and butter flavor. The filling was not quite as full as I expected, but the most noticeable difference to my memory and expectation was that the sausage was bland instead or savory and slightly hot as I remembered. Thinking that I might have distorted my memory, I looked it up on the internet to see had anyone else noticed a change in flavor over time. Recipes change. Ingredients change. In this case, many agree with me that the sausage has changed from a more round shape and savory to a more square shape and bland. Also, there was less cheese than memory served, where previously there was a savory, gooey umami combination of the former sausage and cheese but now the buttery tortilla was the dominant flavor instead of just being the carrier. I think of the Taquito as a portable breakfast. It is a convenient way to bring a sausage, cheese and scrambled egg breakfast into the car and especially easy to eat while driving. The key to a good breakfast taco is in the balance of the interior filling with the stability of the exterior tortilla. This was balanced toward the tortilla. Knowing WB, though, I bet you can get a double filled Taquito, which might be too much. Or get a plussed up version with a little extra for a charge. Maybe it is that Mandela Effect and my memory is faulty. Or maybe it is related to my hungry memory also mostly involved a good bit of beer drinking and that is behind me these days. Or, maybe they did mess with the sausage and the amount of filling to cut some costs over the years? It was just okay. I bought four, one for myself, three for my coworker children. Total wait time 10 minutes. Total tab $15.94. I'm probably not swinging out of my way to get here for a Taquito, but if convenient, may hit up WB breakfast another time.
