Walked in at 8:45 on a Friday night and they act like it's past closing. Never have food and workers are lazy, at least the cooks. The girl up front was nice but that's about it. They had half a thing of orange chicken and a bit of teriyaki and that was all. No other meat was cooked and no appetizers. Ended up having to wait over 10 mins to get food. If the staff "closes" by 8:45 change your hours to that. This is the 3rd time this has happened with me coming in any time after 8 and having to wait 10+ mins for literally anything. Panda has definitely stepped up their game through the last few years. I haven't been here in quite awhile but decided to step in for a quick lunch. This is a very busy location so expect to wait a little. Luckily the workers are usually pretty quick to keep the assembly line flowing. All the workers are very nice and always offer samples to try. The prices are very fair too, since the portion sizes are pretty large. You can get a large meal and drink for under $10. There is a ton of options to choose from and they are always adding new items. All the the ingredients seem to be more fresh then I remember. The vegetables are crisp and fresh. You can taste that they are not frozen. I got the sweet fire chicken, broccoli beef, steamed rice, and cream cheese rag-goons. I'm Not a fan of their fried rice which is why I get the steamed rice and it's very good. Both the chicken and beef were very tender and the chicken batter was light and crisp. Everything tasted fresh and was hot. The cream cheese Ragoons dipped in sweet and sour sauce is so good. The wonton is crispy and the cream cheese is so rich. Perfect treat to your meal! Overall everything was very good and I was impressed by the quality of food for just a quick Chinese take-out spot. I will definitely be back. I placed a to-go order online and picked it up. When I got back to work the order was incorrect and not the food I ordered. I drove all the way back to Panda Express on Happy Valley Rd. and let one employee at the counter know my order was wrong and instead of apologizing for the mistake she just said how could this happen and then started throwing food in a to-go container like she was mad and wouldn't even look at me. The employee at the register just handed me my food again with no sorry this happened so I asked for a drink for the inconvenience of driving back down there and she would only give me a small water cup. Worst Panda I have ever been to. The staff was rude to several patrons ahead of me so I knew I was in for a treat. They did not seem to be able to keep anything fresh or In stock. Several containers were stacked up waiting on something. Hard to tell what since they were out of so much. Yet they had 2 cooks sitting in the dining area eating food themselves. I understand they need and deserve breaks, but when so many items are out and line is increasing by the min it seems pretty ignorant to allow 2 to take a break at the same time. They also seem to talk very softly and several people were commenting on how they couldn't hear the staff with their masks. 04 December '21 I stopped at Panda Ex Happy Valley Rd. I got the plate option which is a lot of food for me so it was split for 2-3 meals. Got half chow mein/half rice. with Beef Broccoli and Terriyaki Chicken. Within 48 hours I was taken by Ambulance to the Hospital for a raging and extreme Bacterial Infection. I hadn't eaten anything else. Just had that for 3 small meals. My blood cells were in total chaos, and I was in the hospital for 4 days trying recover from this experience. It's been 10 days and still have not recovered. I have to go back to the GI specialist next week to see how extensive the damage is to my body. That $9 buck meal is costing me THOUSANDS of dollars $$$,, and no end in sight. Today I my first day I could set up for a couple hours to see if this has happened to others. read more

I really like so many wonderful things about panda express. On my most recent visit here I was so happily surprised to find yet even smaller to go containers for the combination meals. A few years back prices started rising and continue to do so today. And, now, new and improved smaller portions and smaller to go containers, but higher prices. It's like they're selling diamonds here. Food has not improved much over the past 15 years here. Some boring items. Some overcooked and left too long in serving line. They need to do some throwing out of old food that isn't rotating fast enough during the day and evening. Don't serve garbage old soggy food. Fresh is not the name of the game unless you happen to time a new batch coming out while in line. It's sad and disappointing. read more

Went in with my daughter Tuesday night at 8:30pm the guy who cooks was cleaning a cart with soap in front of the woks and we watched as soapy cleanser splashed into the containers of sauce they use to cook with. Visited this location. Saw it has two stars, but I was starving. The staff wanted to serve me quick, but I understand. I got The orange chicken, Beijing beef and white rice plate. Want to start off with I normally love Panda. My partner and I just moved to this area and noticed we had a reward so wanted to try some Panda up here to see how it is. We ordered on the app and got our deal, we arrive and there's no order for Andrew. First a lady in black outfit looks, but can't find it. She then starts helping another customer ignoring me, then came out an older woman in red who yelled in my face "what do you want". I replied that I was picking up a mobile order, to which the lady in black finally came back to hell stating that I needed a confirmation number. I found the number and came back inside, to which I was ignored until I told her I have the confirmation number. I began to read it off, but immediately got told to stop she was already making it. Then when quickly throwing our meal together I noticed her just pick up and a tray throwing it together. Asked if that was the proper count to which she replied "you want to count" so I did, and it was correct no issue besides the treatment. I then asked for soy sauce, utensils, and chili sauce she acted like I was putting her out. Handed me my food by shoving it into me. Want to preface that at 5PM we had gotten a text our order was ready only to arrive at 5:09 to which it was missing. Terrible service from what I assume is the shift manager and her older employee. Well we haven't been to a Panda's in 4 or 5 years and it just sounded good, was a little surprised that at 11:30 at Happy Valley shopping center wasn't crowded which is good for us. I'll start by saying the service and Diet Coke was excellent and that was the only thing worth returning for, the rice was dry and both rice and noodles had no taste, cream cheese wontons tasted like plain cream cheese in a plain tasteless fried exterior uneatable and I've had them at the Chinese fast food at Anthem outlets and they where delicious, the steak dish and chicken was just ok. All I'm saying what happened Panda if I remember correctly 5 or 6 years ago it was good, and for 30 bucks we will check back in ten years, just too many other places to eat. I've loved and enjoyed panda express his food for many years but unfortunately this location employees a racist manager. I ordered my family meal on DoorDash as I have done dozens of times before and went to attempt to pick it up. Because I'm a large black man it was assume that I was attempting to steal an order and I was asked repeatedly to produce the order number and my name in the app. Simply providing my name and describing the order as I have done every other time was not enough. When I was unable to do this I became frustrated as the manager to do it and left the store. The manager called the police and had me trespassed from the store, Never did get my food and won't be going back to this panda express ever again.
