The only thing good here were the drinks. Greeted at the door with "do you have any alcohol in your bag?" Then the hostess checked us in and took us to our table. The staff was pretty nice but we were sat in the back towards the kitchen entrance or service station and I kept getting splashed with some kind of liquid from somewhere. The food was super over priced and mid at best. Also they include gratuity plus a 3.99% fee for using card. 2 gross apps and 3 drinks came out to about 120 dollars. Left to go have dinner at another near by place after suffering through the tiny apps that tasted like they came from a frozen food section of a grocery store and just drenched in spicy mayo. Went to Panda Harlem for my birthday dinner and I had an amazing time. The music was great! (rap/hip hop) it was loud enough to enjoy but not too loud where you couldn't have a conversation at your table. The drinks were strong and delicious. I highly recommend a reservation if you go on a weekend because the place was packed on a Sunday night. The food was good and fairly portioned. They also serve hookah!! Panda is definitely a unique dining experience! We took the train in from Connecticut for a fun date night. The blend of hip-hop culture with Chinese comfort food is such a creative concept. I have to say I was blown away by the quality and flavor of all the food we had that night. I'm very particular about bao, and Panda passed my test. I really liked the green apple addition in the bao - I've never seen that before! The pork fried dumplings were great, and so was the spicy kung pao chicken (definitely a bearable spice). I chose the pork lo mein for my meal, figuring I would have leftovers since the menu stated it served two people. I was a bit surprised at the portion size that came out, especially for the price. It's definitely a single portion size that I had no problem finishing, unless you would be sharing it for a side, but I think stating that it would serve two was a bit misleading. It was yummy though! The drinks weren't bad. Our service was exceptional! Plates were cleared quickly, our glasses never went empty, and the food came out quickly. The food is pretty good the ambiance is nice but the service may be another issue and I'm not talking my server she was great like many other restaurants that pretend to serve a higher class the up charge is crazy the fees that were added are ridiculous not only that I came with a large group and was told we have to take a package instead of just being allowed to sit which when the bill came they added admin fee and told me it's for helping to book and planning but nothing was booked for them to add that charge I even got charged for paying with cash. The drinks averaged $20-25 they all had extra ice in them even thou I asked for lite ice. I'll end my review with this if you come here just be prepared to spend more than you expect. read more

Came here for brunch on Sunday. On social media, i.e. Tik Tok and Instagram, it looks jumping for the weekend brunches and dinner. They open at 12 on Sunday and the place was empty when we arrived at about 1:30pm. While I waited for the rest of my party to arrive, I sat at the bar and had a lychee martini. The bartender was sooo nice but the lychee martini was soooo sweet. I usually get a lychee martini when I go out but this was the first time it wasn't as enjoyable. Once everyone arrived, we sat at our table. Our waiter checked in with us and gave us ample time to figure out what we wanted to eat and drink. We did do the bottomless drinks which includes either mimosas, frozen henny coladas, or frose. I stuck with the mimosas the entire time but my friends said that the frozen drinks were good and you can actually taste the alcohol. They do have a pre fixe menu which is mandatory for parties of four or more. Since we were a party of four we had the option to go a la carte. The brunch menu is pretty much the dinner menu and this is the one thing I think they should work on. There should be entrees that differentiate between brunch and dinner. The menu didn't have anything that seemed super amazing, but the food was good. I wouldn't say that it was anything out of the ordinary. At about 2:30 the place finally started to get a bit full but it still wasn't a lot of people there. They were also playing old school r&b (sad music included) which wasn't the best selection. This is a nice restaurant great ambiance I came here after work on a Thursday they now have buy one get one on all frozen drinks the bartender let me sample all of the frozen drinks which were all really good my favorite the frozen lychee martini and the don julio margarita for food we had the filet mignon and broccoli, shrimp fried rice, and vegetable dumplings the food was really good. DELICIOUS. We then ordered a Sidecar, Strawberry Margarita and. Passion Fruit Martini, also DELICIOUS. As main courses, I got salt and pepper shrimp and my homegirl ordered the shrimp and broccoli. We shared a carb and that was the highlight of our meal . His chicken and broccoli was just ok and my Kung Pao chicken was so overcooked the meat was tough, with lots of sauce over it. While the sauce had good flavor I didn't want to eat sauce for dinner. You felt the vibes as soon as you entered with graffiti on the walls, hookah in the air, and modern hip hop, dancehall, and rnb playing through the speakers. We were a larger party of about 12 people or so, and were swerved family style. Let me just say, I had the best Caesar salad of my life in this restaurant. This a very trendy establishment, with a great location. I went in the evening and I definitely got 'lounge' vibes. There were plenty of photos ops, and there was music playing - a bit loudly for conversation but it was good. The cocktails tasted great and the pricing was comparable to other locations in the area. There was a rowdy table nearby and security approached the area quickly but just kind of lingered close by instead of intervening or trying to diffuse the situation. I've been seeing this spot pop up all over Instagram! So I've decided to come here with my boyfriend for date night. When we arrived there all I saw was the panda mural and red doors. From the looks of the photos on Instagram I thought this place was a lot bigger. Upon entering, I remembered the old spot that used to be here. The decor of the spot looks awesome! Whoever the artist is, did a wonderful job. The food was good the staff were great, however it took forever for our food to come out. Couples who sat after us received their food first. To order I ordered the passion fruit martini, spicy kungpao chicken and my boyfriend ordered scallion pancakes fried chicken dumplings and chicken and broccoli. Of all the food we ordered, the scallion pancakes were my fave, the only con is the dipping sauce was too salty. The drinks were delicious however not strong enough. The vibe of the music even the people were all a total package it looked great in here. We didn't have reservations but they definitely accommodated us and told us they needed the table back a hour and a half later but there were plenty of tables and they never rushed us. As... it was prefix menu which included 2 hours of unlimited alcohol beverages. The waiter intentionally took his time to bring our beverages. When we were just about finished we were told that it had to be finished. By the time he came back it would of been finished because they took so long. The drinks had so much chaser you didn't taste the liquor of choice. Tried this new place and it's a similar menu to Philippe Chow but a smaller version. Food ain't that great. Had a few apps chicken satay, lettuce wrap, dumpling were ok nothing special. Rock shrimp was good. Filet mignon with broccoli was just horrible. No live DJ and ambiance wasn't that great plus it was a night club before so it's basically the same set up. Valet was $40 which is ridiculous. Philippe Chow or Brooklyn Chophouse way better menu and food. read more

I recently made a reservation for 3 at 8:00pm. We arrived on time and were not seated until around 8:50pm. We had to wait by the bar where all 3 of us ordered drinks while we waited. When we sat down we ordered appetizers, our meals and side dishes and another round of drinks. Our bill came out to about $300 plus Hookah ($50) plus the drinks we ordered by the bar which approximately was about $15 each. Long story short, while we still had food on our table plus a new round of drinks, we were they asked us to give up our table. The food was ok, but the prices and service not so much.
