I saw a video on Instagram "If he takes you out on February 13, you are the mistress." If he takes you out on February 14th, you are the girlfriend; If he doesn't take you out at all, congratulation, you are the wife!" Today is Valentine's Day, and I spent the day with my wife and family. We want to eat something simple tonight, so we went to Panera Bread (This is actually our first time at Panera Bread). We ordered sandwiches, soups, breads, brownies, and cookies. The quantities are pretty small, but the flavors are good. To me, Valentine's Day is more about spending time with loved ones than it is about where to eat nice food. I'm really appreciative of the time I get to spend with my wife, kids, and in-laws tonight. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

Visited this store to grab my unlimited sip club beverage and got ice tea. Feeling good and also decided to get their new energizing drink cherry lime and their strawberry basil drink. Very refreshing. Ordered on the app and had to wait a long time for my drink and it was the wrong size medium. They were cool and got me a large which was what I had ordered. Even took longer for their new flavored drinks. Some parking in the front.

Food is great I like to enjoy my food in restaurant but I feel like they have a lot of campers . I just want to sit and eat and it's full of people just sitting there not even eating but on the phone or laptops and every time I come it's it's normally the same people and I only come about once a month if so because of the campers. I feel they should give customers a limit so others who are actually going to eat a place to sit. I hope the managers keep that in consideration

Panera has always been my go-to. However today, my service with them is over. I will be canceling my subscription with them. I had ordered the Ranch Parm BLT salad and first off, my salad lid was NOT CLOSED ALL THE WAY SHUT THEREFORE HALF OF MY SALAD SPILLED OUT. I also ordered the Broccoli cheddar soup (which is one of my favorite soup), but today was UNFORTUNATE. While enjoying my soup, I noticed something on the soup lid so I took a look closer. Turns out, it was a BUG! Now the BUG LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BE DRENCHED IN MY SOUP. I felt sick to my stomach. If you are going to be eating or planning to dine with Panera, I advise you to check your food before eating. Who knows if this has happened to anyone else and no one just noticed it.

Very fast staff, lots of seats but it can get crowded in the early afternoon. I came here today to redeem my sip club drink (got my go to passion fruit papaya green tea!) no complaints about that. The bathroom could be a little cleaner as the floor was wet and you could smell strong scent of urine. I like that the place is quiet enough where you can do your work.

Panera Bread on Commonwealth delivers exactly what you'd expect--reliable, fast-casual food in a clean and comfortable setting. The soups, salads, and sandwiches are consistent with the Panera brand, and service is generally efficient. Nothing surprising, but that's kind of the point. It's a dependable spot for a quick, decent meal or a quiet place to work or study with a coffee.

Got some coupons again. Otherwise this place is a rip off sorry. It's like fifteen bucks for any meal item and it's still technically fast food. I appreciate the drive thru though, when I have to order to go because my dog is being barky. Good service and food is normal. Got it on sale so even better. It's not that it's not fresh, I would just rather spend fifteen bucks somewhere else besides a chain. Nice outdoor seating. Easy parking. I dunno. They accidentally gave me a baguette in addition to my apple sub so that was cool.

I ordered togo a Cheese sandwich along with a Vanilla Latte. But by the time I got home all sandwich was stuck onto wrapper was not a good experience, coffee was good. I feel that a wrapper needs to be changed.

Hidden Gem in Alhambra - Finally Tried It After 4 Years of Driving By!…read more I've lived in Alhambra for the last 4 years and drove past this place almost every day, always assuming it was just another hot pot spot. It never looked super busy, so I kept putting it off. Big mistake--don't let that happen to you like it did to me! We finally went in and ordered a bunch: the Spicy Beef Shank Rice Noodle, Rattan Pepper Sliced Beef Rice Noodle, Popcorn Chicken, Sesame Balls, Popping Brown Sugar Rice Cake, Fried Milk Rolls, and Fried Taro Balls. Everything was outstanding. The noodles were amazing--fresh, chewy, with high-quality ingredients you can really taste in every bite. The broths had that perfect spicy kick without being overwhelming, and the beef was super tender. My wife and I couldn't stop eating; literally everything we tried was delicious. She especially loved the Fried Taro Balls--they were crispy outside, soft and flavorful inside. The sides/snacks were all hits too: the Popcorn Chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the Sesame Balls and Popping Brown Sugar Rice Cake brought great texture and sweetness, and the Fried Milk Rolls were a fun surprise. Service was top-notch--shoutout to Icey, who took such great care of us. One of the best and most attentive experiences we've had in a while. If you're in Alhambra and love good food, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't go wrong here--highly recommend! 5 stars all the way.

The only downside is they don't have their AC on during the summer. I remember one time I was sweating while eating and it was very uncomfortable.

The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived, there were only a few tables. It's a small restaurant. The owner (I think) and waiter were both very welcoming and friendly. They gave us complimentary cups of chicken vegetable broth. We decided to try some items that we regularly order at other restaurants and some new items. Chicken vegetable broth: 5/5 - I thought this was the best dish we had. Very umami broth. Beef burrito appetizer: 3/5 - This is more commonly called a beef roll at most other restaurants. It was okay, they don't fry the wrapping like some other restaurants. Braised pork rice: 3/5 - Good portion size and reasonably priced. The flavors are less Taiwanese and more Shanghai. Braised beef noodle:3/5 - Compared to other beef noodles soups we've had this was just okay. Braised intestine rice noodle: 3.5/5 - they were nice enough to make mine without peppers. I enjoy intestines and wanted to try this dish. The owner suggested I have it with vinegar which I tried and after eating maybe a quarter of the dish I felt nauseous from the vinegar. The vinegar does enhance the dish but at the same time you can only have so much of it without feeling queasy. I would rate this place 3.5 rounded up to 4. Food wise I thought this place was just okay. But I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and might come back again in the future to try new dishes.

FFS, they use super dry, super old chicken as the protein to make the congee with. Everyone knows you ought to use pork. There's zero pork in their congee! And for the pan-fried rolls, they are store-bought. They are not the steamed kind where authentic restaurants make in-house. They buy the $2.99 kinds from an Asian supermarket, slap some cooking oil and soy sauce onto the wok and call it a day. There's not even a corn starch slurry to thicken the sauce! It's like they either don't know how to cook good food or they think you the consumer can't disconcern what good food is. To add insult to injury, they charge you $11.50 for these piss-poor rice rolls when most restaurants add them to a breakfast combo for free. So you end up spending $11.50 for the porridge and another $11.50 for the rice rolls separately. Money gauging much?? Lastly, they charge 25 cents for every to-go container. They gave me two for my two items, so when the bill came, they tacked on 50 cents to the bill. How tacky. Spending money on disappointing food is another level of hurt. FAIL IN EVERY ASPECT. When you come in, there is a sign that tells you to order before being seated. My sister and her bf had yet to arrive so I placed a sizeable order for the 4 of us. Luckily, they were there (waiting in the car) so I told them to walk over so we can be seated. I ordered 2 orders of chiayi chicken (1with white rice and 1 with brown rice), 2 orders of thousand layer pancake (1 with egg and 1 with egg and cheese), shrimp wonton, dance dan noodles, wonton noodle soup, hakka mochi and forbidden rice pudding. For drinks we had a few of the shaken iced green teas and 1 taro milk tea (my sister said it didnt taste like taro) Everything was great. I was surprised my sister's bf liked the food. The chiayi chicken was good with a bit of the chili sauce (sambal). The thousand layer pancake was good if you dip it in the black vinegar (mixed with chili oil and a little soy sauce). The shrimp wonton were surprisingly light and tasty. The dan dan noodles was balanced my medium thin sliced cucumber. Everything was portioned very small so you can try everything.we didnt get additional sides because were getting full. The desserts was what I was looking forward to and it did not disappoint. The hakka mochi reminded me of the soy pudding stalls in singapore that had mochi balls filled with a black sesame paste and peanut paste inside. This is what the hakka mochi was but in dry soft chewy form with black sesame and peanut grains to top it off. For my sister, it reminded her of the filipino dessert pichi pichi. The forbidden rice pudding reminded me of a soupy version of the filipino dessert biko. It had chunks of sweet potatoes and tapioca. Also very good but my bias is the hakka mochi. The ambiance was bright, bustling and inviting. Very small tables perfect for a quick bite. Highly recommend if you want a tapas style lunch that doesn't break the bank.
