This Panera never has a simple coffee rapid pickup ready on time. I've had to ask every time because it's not on the shelves when I arrive, regardless of how much time I give between ordering and pickup. It's not at the kitchen window or at the rapid pickup area. So today I order and walk up to a young woman refilling the sugars, etc. I tell her I'm there for a coffee rapid pickup. She says something along the lines of, "So it'll be either at this shelf area of the kitchen." I said, "Nope, it's not. I checked both places." Granted we are both in masks so maybe she thinks I'm being rude because I spoke over her slightly. She goes and hands me a cup. That's all she had to do. Hand a customer a cup. She goes back to the coffee area, where she knows I'm headed. I go to fill the cup and she takes a coffee mat to drain it. Okay, cool. I was a bartender. I get it. So I wait patiently. She brings it back and sets it down. All the whole talking to another employee and acting like I'm an invisible customer there. I straighten the coffee trap and fill the cup. I turn to my right to grab a lid and she's standing there refilling sugars. She doesn't ask what I need. She doesn't step aside for two seconds. All of that isn't the worst thing in the world. The ridiculous part is she is acting like nobody is there! Keeps filling the sugars, taking her time, then grabs the box and rushes off. She puts the box away and the door doesn't shut, so I press it shut with my shoe for her (the doors are near the ground). Thinking to myself that maybe she thought I was being rude earlier, I turn around. As I go to leave I simply say, "I just want to give you a heads up that my order was under *insert order name here*. I don't want you to remake it since I picked it up". I was being nice thinking they didn't see the order yet. She says nothing and just looks at me. I go, "I just don't want it you to have to remake it". Again - being nice, laid back. She just kind of goes, "Ok." She had this air about her that was so rude and unprofessional. This young woman was so nonchalant and dismissive. Panera, please hire people that don't make your customers want to leave. I'm happy it was rapid pickup and not dine in. read more

Tried the flatbread pizza, worst pizza ever. So hard and chewy, very simple amateurish flavor. Vons has a better frozen pizza in the frozen carton. The store was empty and we tried using the drive up bring to your car service, texted we were parked and ready and no one came out. We then decided to walk in instead and the bag was on the counter. They greeted us and we said we were there for the curbside drop off... they employee just said "it's on the counter." We walked around and four employees were in the kitchen just standing around. I understand that this is fast food.... but with this price and food quality, there are just wayyyy too many other options that I won't return for a very very long time. read more

Update.... it's been a few months since my last review. Dropping the score to a 2 because there have been no improvements. Same sloppy service, same teeny-boppers working (if u can call it that), orders are never right, etc. This is such an easy fix!!! I've been a regular Panera customer for over 4 years now and have visited many Panera locations in LA. Last Staurday (9/15), I was at the Granada Hills location around 8:45am. Was standing in line to get a pastry when I noticed a fly on the pastry shelf. The cashier was really busy (who was the only one to be seen) and when another female sales clerk appeared, I told her about the fly - she just went about her business and I asked if she heard me, to my dismay, her response was "Oh, it's just a fly". I'm still in disbelief!! The Cashier threw the pastry that the fly was sitting on but, the fly came back. This is to the franchise owner or Panera management, if you want to stay in business, train your employees and get them to get the "Food Handlers Certification" - I did not see any displayed on the walls. read more

Panera is always just so-so. Everything is always very expensive and small. But today I had a pretty good experience because I had a coupon. I ordered their chicken green goddess salad with a side piece of bread. The salad was super good. The dressing is delicious and light and their salad was crispy and the chicken was moist. The salad is 11 dollars. I'm sure the salad would cost 8 dollars in a normal restaurant but Panera likes to mark up the price. But this is the closet location by my home, so I will go whenever they have a good deal. read more

I placed my on-line order for 15 items giving a specific time for pick up. Everything was ready within 5 minutes - the hot items were just that, the salads cold and fresh, and the bread was warm, crusty, and fresh. The windows do need a wash but the staff was efficient and pleasant. I and my "crew" were happy. read more

I love Panera Bread and I always have great service. Today was my first time at this new location and it has been by far the worst service I have ever experienced. The manger looked like he was so lost half of the time trying to figure out how to keep the place right. The line was long because there was only one cashier as well as only one person bringing orders to tables. My chicken ceased salad looked horrible and not how it usually does. I was so irritated in how unprofessional they were it literally looked like no one knew how to do their job. Not to mentioned they opened like 3 months ago. I'm usually not so picky but man they just got it all wrong! I ordered a roasted turkey BLT, added cheese with no tomatoes. My bf got a bacon turkey bravo with avocado. Our sandwiches were all wrong with none of the additional things we were charged of. My bf didn't notice till he saw my order was all wrong so we complained nicely I didn't throw a fit or anything but they didn't even make us a new sandwich just took some ingredients out and tossed in other ingredients and even threw in some ingredients in a cup on the side I didn't even want to eat it anymore very poor service. So I did a new order and again I was asked to make a substitution again for a different item. Made the substitution and again another substitution on another item and unable to substitute. I really try my best not to complain because I know how difficult it is to work in the food industry, but I had the worst experience at this location yesterday morning. I ordered my food plus a cold brew and a pumpkin muffin, but after hearing that I had a free coffee for rewards, i cancelled the cold brew. My bill for the bagel sandwich and muffin was $16, but I just thought their prices had gone up, okay cool. After waiting ten minutes for my order to be prepared, I walked up to the window to find that my food was not on the counter. There was a guy with his back to me making food, and he didn't turn around when I walked up. I waited a second, and when the second girl walked by, she looked me in the eye, but said nothing. Instead, she and the guy started a conversation about how they hoped they slipped in the kitchen so they could go home. After FIVE minutes of standing there, I asked about my food, but they had no idea where my order was. Finally after a couple of minutes, someone walks up with my sandwich and...the blended cold brew that I cancelled (hence why my bill was $16). I tried taking the drink to the counter, but there was no one there. It seems like because they have the kiosks now, they don't care about helping customers. I had to walk back to the pick up window to ask them to send a person to the register. I was refunded my money for the cold brew, but when I looked in my food bag, my muffin was missing. Glad I checked it before I left. They were apologetic, but it took 20 mins to get a muffin, a bagel sandwich, and my free coffee. Train your staff better, Panera! read more

This was a really disappointing experience. I went to meet two friends there and started at the kiosk to place my order. If there's a way there to just ask for a glass of water it escaped me. No big deal. The system asked for a pager number, but there were no pages, so I hit the button for that and entered the order. Turns out that the kiosk experience didn't save me any time as the only way to get a water cup was to wait for a cashier and ask for one. No big deal. So, where's my sandwich? Back to the cashier who asked where's my pager? She apparently didn't know you could order at the kiosk without a pager so she passed me off to the manager. Once he finished the order he was taking he went to the kitchen and voila, there was my sandwich, sitting there. At the table I opened it up and found exactly one piece of steak on my steak and cheese sandwich. Yes, one. My friends were as surprised as I was. Back to the cashier who send me back to the manager. After he finished the order he was taking yet again he promised to get me a better sandwich. OK, five minutes or so someone shows up with the "better' sandwich, which, to my surprise, was coated in horseradish despite my order and my receipt clearly saying NO HORSERADISH. Back to the cashier, and back to the manager, and another promise for the right sandwich. Five more minutes and finally the sandwich I had ordered almost 20 minutes earlier. The manager offered me a free soda, which was great except if I had wanted I soda I probably would have bought one in the first place. My friends, who were done with their meals by this time, were amazed he didn't just comp the food for all of the trouble. Three trips up to get a simple steak and cheese sandwich, which, to be honest, wasn't very good. Sorry, Panera, I won't be back, at least not to this one. read more

My boyfriend and I come to this location often every since it opened. We love Panera's broccoli cheddar soup and other paninis. Typically we receive good service and pretty accurate orders. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The food quality in my opinion is just as it is in other Panera locations. We were just so excited when a closer location came to our neighborhood. Yesterday, however, I noticed they were not as accurate or on point with my order. My order was wrong because they overcharged me and didn't bring the correct side. They also forgot to bring my salad order until I went back to the counter. It wasn't much of an issue for me because I wasn't in a hurry and didn't see it as a large problem. The same day others were complaining about similar issues so I hope they take care of it and improve in that area. read more

They had 2 flies flying around in their display case above the case where the chocolate chip muffies were. When I brought it to the attention of the cashier she just half heartedly waved her hand around and didn't pull out the tray of pastries they were on. She didn't alert her manager who was or any other employees visibly working in the back to take care of it either. My son likes their broccoli cheese soup and side of bread so we ordered that otherwise I would've just gone to Starbucks a couple of stores down. I ordered specifically no chicken and asked to repeat the order for a sandwich and when I picked it up - it still had chicken. I ordered my food on door dash because I don't own a car. I received my food and I look in the bag and I see that I was missing a sandwich. So I call Panera and they tell me if I am able to pick it up. I specifically ordered delivery because I cannot pick it up. I come here ever Wednesday morning, the food is good & their lattes are on point. The restrooms are clean and sanitary. Their baked goods are amazing and that big chocolate cookie is one of my favorite ones to eat. They added the lil buzzers now to let you know when your food is ready, and that is way better then having to stay standing up waiting for your name on the screen so you can go grab your food. read more

Ya this location has terrible service. When I arrived there were two ladies in front of me and no one behind the counter. We waited another 2 or so minutes (no telling how long the other two were there prior to my arrival). The first woman goes to the side to see if she can see anyone behind the wall. An employee comes out and seems annoyed that customers need her. The woman points out that they are out of half and half. The employee pulls out a container of to go half and half and makes the woman pick out a few rather than replacing the thermos thing. I finally order and they were out of soufflés at 9 am and I ordered a bagel. She was SO TIRED during my order that she like put her arms out and tilted her head down until it was resting on the register. Ridiculous. read more
