Today is 2.8.21, 4:04pm and I just wasted about 20 minutes on the phone trying to confirm my Uber Eats order. Young lady was rude, seemingly unwilling to or with no desire to help. I said I wanted to confirm my order, she said "ok? What would you like to confirm?" I said ummm can you please pull up my order? She said "uh huh...?" I said what name is it under? She said "I'm waiting for you to tell me" what kind of establishment am I calling??? I said, Joyce. She puts me on forever hold only to come back and say she has nothing under that name. Asks me for the order number. I give it to her. I'm on forever hold again. Nothing under that number. She asks what I ordered. I tell her. I'm on forever hold again. She then comes back to ask me what time I placed the order because she does have that same order but it's under Joyce and she thought I said Joy. -____- are you flipping kidding me?!?!? You mean it didn't occur to you 15 mins ago that Joyce may have sounded like Joy to u? Then the food gets here and my mac n cheese is only filled 3/4 of the cup. I paid $7.89 PLUS TAX for this. For introverts Panera Bread has given us a gift -- rapid order pick up. This service is perfect for times where you do not want to interact with people. It is so quick and helpful: you place your order online or on the app, walk in, find your order in it's designated cubby, and walk out. Simple as that. I love this. I have never sat down to eat at this particular PB so the customer service I can not rate but the food is great like always. PB has always held a special place in my heart, from their caesar salad to their double chocolate cookies. The food never disappoints. I have noticed the inside to be medium size but there are a few tables outside for those nice California days. Panera is a presentable place to go for breakfast or lunch. I had the spinach and artichoke souffle for breakfast, which was decent. They also have a lot of great pastries. We tried the blueberry muffin, as well as the kitchen sink and candy cookie.The blueberry muffin was interesting because it has crystalized sugar on it. The kitchen sink cookie has an awful and unappetizing name, but it's definitely worth trying. The flavor and texture were really good. read more

I went here to study because I've heard good things but the door makes a slow and progressively loud creaking sound every time someone comes in or out of the restaurant. I can see why this location has low ratings. The floor inside was dirty. It was cold and rainy and yet the heat was not turned up enough in the store to make it warm. My wife and I each ordered soup, neither one of them came out hot enough to our liking, so we sent them back and they came back a little warmer, but still not hot like soup should be. This review is solely for the Postmates side of Panera from this store. I submitted my order at 1:03pm. For something that is advertised as 30-40 minute delivery, it is unacceptable for my order to be delayed from 1:40pm, to 1:50pm, to now 2:10pm. Over an hour to prepare and deliver 4 items? I understand there was an issue at first with items being unavailable, so I wasn't peeved about the initial delays. But we are at 1:52pm and they are still "preparing the order". What's going on that you can't make a sandwich, assemble a fruit cup and parfait, and get a cup of soup in the past 50 minutes? It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm pretty sure if I went in store I would have gotten my order, eaten, and be done by now. I can't even cancel my order at this point without being charged the full price even though they haven't finished preparing it. The first week they opened, my colleague told me he was making a Panera run. Online (pre paid) I ordered a ceaser salad with chicken and avocado (extra cost) and a WARM chocolate chip cookie. My colleague brought the order, it has very little chicken and NO DRESSING and NO COOKIE. Seriously?!! Fine! I gave them a second chance, now at the restaurant. I ordered another salad with chicken (EXTRA COST) and when it came the chicken was FROZEN...yes COLD...FROZEN! I was so upset and they immediately told me they would give me a new one. It came 20 minutes later. Some staff are rude and something is up with quality control. Overall horrible location. Something is really wrong here, management needs to strep it up. I want to thank the amazing team at the Panera restaurant on Devonshire Blvd. in Northridge for their fantastic food and their profound empathy. My dad (94 years young!) and I had experienced a power outage of at least 16 1/2 hours beginning at 3:30 am on June 8. We had no way of eating in a darkened house so I suggested we go to Panera. We had a very tasty meal and I mentioned to one of the employees that we were there due to no power and we wanted to finally relax and enjoy some good food. While we were finishing up our delicious meal, Tyler came over to our table and brought a huge bag of goodies for us as a symbol of their entire team's kindness regarding our situation. Either they forget some ingredients, or they give me the wrong size, and so on. I've never ordered Panera but for Mother's Day I got a gift card and thought why not?! I ordered a bowl meal with tomato soup, chai tea & a complimentary cinnamon roll for signing up. The chai tea is different than what I'm used too but it's still very tasty. I was in love with the flavors in the grain bowl I ordered, it was a good enough portion for two! My favorite part however was definitely the tomato soup! I'm an avid fan and it's so hard to come by a decent flavored tomato soup but man it was SO GOOD. I'm definitely coming back for more Food was promptly brought out to the car and the employee who brought me my food was friendly and kind.
